Robert Pattinson is not doing much to endear himself to the ladies these days. First, he slams Twilight fans for not having a life outside the film franchise. Now, he’s been caught flagrantly making out with Mia Wasikowska! Yes, it’s true. But, no, it’s not personal. Pattinson and Wasikowska are simply filming the David Cronenberg movie Maps to the Stars , in which the latter befriends a limo driver portrayed by the former and in which the two clearly become very close. In case you haven’t heard, the newest X-Men movie is set in the 70s. Of course with this new X-Men: Days of Future Past photo , that isn’t hard to figure out. Nicolas Hoult as Hank McCoy, James McAvoy as Charles Xavier, and of course, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine all looking rather dashing in this newest X-Men: Days of Future Past photo. Directed by Bryan Singer, the newest X-Men also stars Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Jennifer Lawrence, Michael Fassbender, Halle Berry, Anna Pacquin, and Peter Dinklage. Filming has wrapped up and the film is scheduled to hit theaters on May 23rd.
Perhaps I wasn’t hip to the various colors available in the gray spectrum before, but after checking out this Divergent photo , my eyes have been opened to the possibilities. If you’ve read Veronica Roth’s book, then you know that this photo is likely from the earliest parts in the film. Perhaps the choosing ceremony? Not sure when else there would be so much Abnegation gray in one place. Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort play the brother and sister duo, Beatrice and Caleb Prior in the film. We don’t have too much longer to wait for the latest young adult dystopian novel adaptation as Divergent opens in theaters on March 21st of next year.
Devin Langford, a VERY drink Florida man, was arrested for DUI recently … and tried to urinate out of the police cruiser window en route to the station. His attempt did not go as planned. Drunk Man Tries to Urinate Out of Cop Car Window Pulled over for speeding, Langford was promptly given sobriety tests due to his “red, glassy, bloodshot eyes,” and the “plethora of empty beer cans” in his truck. Obviously, he failed the tests, and was put in a squad car to be taken to the county jail. On his way, he felt nature’s call and told the officer he had to go. The arresting officer, Brian Bell, told Langford to wait until they got to jail, but he said he couldn’t hold it that long and asked if he could urinate in the car. You’d think this would – pardon the expression – piss off the cop. But Bell was understanding (or just trying not to get into an argument with a wasted guy). Bell told him if he had to go, to just do it. Langford was so touched, he decided to avoid urinating in the car by attempting to aim it out the window. While Bell said he’d prefer if Langford just wet his pants, the suspect went ahead with his plan … and peed all over the passenger seat and floorboards. Better luck next time. He was not charged for the urination fail at least. Later, when they arrived at jail, Langford told Bell, “I might be a little drunk, but I’m not a lot of drunk.” The breathalyzer (.138 percent and .141 percent in two attempts) said otherwise, but at least he scored around a .875 on the unintended comedy scale.

British model Cara Delevingne, who has walked in countless runway shows and fronted top-tier fashion brands, is reportedly hoping to transition into acting. In the Fifty Shades of Grey movie. According to reports, Delevingne auditioned for the prized role of Anastasia Steele in the erotic film trilogy based on the hit novel written by E.L. James. The movie will be directed by Sam Taylor-Johnson, who just happens to good friends with the young star, 20, so perhaps she has the inside track? It’s unclear, but Cara were to land the role in the film, it would catapult her into another level of fame, and prove that her acting chops match her looks. What do you think? Should Cara play Ana? Mariah Carey wasn’t about to close her eyes to the past when discussing racism and the making of “Lee Daniels’ The Butler” during a press conference at the Waldorf Astoria Hotel on Monday, also attended by Oprah Winfrey and the much of the film’s ensemble cast. Carey recalled she was riding on a Long Island school bus when a student spit on her when she was a child because of the color of her skin. And the foul memory came flooding back while she was making “The Butler.” In the movie, Carey plays the mother of Cecil Gaines (Forest Whitaker), a character based on the White House Butler Eugene Allen, who served presidents for 34 years and retired in 1986. In the early scene of the sweeping period drama about America’s tumultuous racial past as seen through the butler’s eyes, a dissolute plantation owner’s son rapes Mariah’s Georgia sharecropper. Immediately afterwards, the rapist shoots her husband dead in front of their son, Cecil, who has goaded his father to protest the violence against his mother. As traumatic as Mariah’s scene and its aftermath is, what apparently disturbed the singer/actress most was the recreation of the Woolworth’s Lunch Counter sit-in located in North Carolina in 1960. In that emotional moment in the struggle for racial equality, a white woman spits on a black college student (Yaya Alafia) simply for asking to be served at the whites-only counter. “That actually happened to me,” Carey said on Monday. “I know people would be in shock and not really want to believe or accept that, but it did. … That right there, that was almost the deepest thing to me in the movie because I know what she went through — and it happened to be a bus as well. It was a school bus.” Winfrey: “Where somebody spit on you?” Carey: “Yeah. In the face and in the same way.” The daughter of a white Irish American mother and an African American/Venezuelan father that raised her in “safe” suburban Long Island, Carey, 43, still didn’t grow up protected from racial bias. The song lyrics for “Close My Eyes” echo this experience: “I left the worst unsaid; Let it all dissipate; And I try to forget.” In the past, Carey has discussed the fact that her mother Patricia’s family disowned her for marrying a man of color in 1960. It was a rejection that Mariah felt very deeply. The racial tensions also had a negative impact on her parents’s marriage and they divorced when Mariah was three. Kanye West is not happy with Kim Kardashian at the moment. The reality star orchestrated a lame (even by her standards) publicity stunt last week when she appeared via video on her mother’s talk show, despite teasing earlier in the day on Facebook that she’d be making her first actual appearance since giving birth to North West . Kim Kardashian Baby Body Update Kanye “thought it was a pretty cheap stunt,” a friend of Kim’s tells In Touch Weekly of the move. “Her fame is a huge bone of contention in their relationship. But fame is in Kim’s blood.” It’s certainly not in West’s, however, given his reaction whenever confronted by the paparazzi . Might that explain why we are yet to see any Kim Kardashian baby photos ? Might Kanye simply be disallowing it, insisting on privacy for the new family? That sounds like a strong possibility, if a source to the couple is to be believed. He/she says of Kanye has installed extra security around the house to lock Kim down, adding of this unusual, seemingly unhealthy relationship: “She has to do what he says – or else.”
