The takeover, break’s over… Kevin Durant Offically Signs With Jay-Z’s RocNation Sports The ink is still wet, but the partnership has been sealed. Jay-Z has just signed Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant to his fledgling RocNation Sports agency. KD just posted this pic on Instagram of him and Jay signing off on the paperwork with smiles on their faces Kevin Durant: Grateful for this opportunity with RocNation Sports. It’s go time! Jay-Z: He has a 90.5 free throw shooting rate, the youngest player in NBA history to join the 50-40-90 club, a giving individual and a legend in the making. What more can I say? Congrats to KD, hopefully this partnership will lead to more hilarious commercials like that Spring commercial with the seemingly pervy Asian woman. We love that one! Not long ago, Bristol Palin and Gino Paoletti, her first serious boyfriend following her split from baby daddy Levi Johnston, were considering marriage. For whatever reason, that didn’t work out … and Joey Junker – a lifelong Alaska resident with a talent for riding and adventure – is now in the picture . Their relationship is still new, but insiders say the single mom is “smitten.” “She really likes him! She is a quiet person, so [she] hasn’t been gushing about him, but she has been texting with him a lot the past few weeks,” a source says. “Someone asked about her ‘boyfriend,’ and she turned bright red blushing!” “[Bristol] has said she’s at a good place in her life right now… she wants to be cautious about the guys she allows into her life these days … she is taking it slow.” As for her former fake finace? Yeah right, Chelsea “I flirt with every black man” Handler : Like most things in Chelsea Handler’s life, she isn’t taking her current relationship too seriously. Though she’s been linked to 50 Cent since early October, the 35-year-old comedienne seemed surprised when UsMagazine.com asked her about their fledgling romance at Wednesday’s Comcast TCA cocktail reception in Pasadena, Calif. “People still think we’re dating? No! Really?” she asked Us. “He’s sweet, though. I love him, but we’re not dating.” Not that Handler hasn’t done her part to fuel relationship rumors: after 50 Cent was spotted hanging out backstage at her Newark, NJ stand-up show, she tweeted a photo of herself in bed with the 35-year-old rapper in December. “I don’t know if I can handle him, to be honest,” she told Us of their unexpected pairing. “I like to have fun and I’m really trying to not get into anything too serious.” SMH. LL Cool J Calls Out Sarah Palin, Fox News

Rapper-actor LL Cool J is far from pleased about what he describes as an old interview of his being lifted to promote Sarah Palin’s interview special tonight . Palin’s Fox News special, entitled Real American Stories , features the former Governor chronicling lives of “people who have overcome adversity and more.” Among tonight’s success stories: country star Toby Keith, former GE Chairman Jack Welch, a recipient of the Congressional Medal of Honor and LL Cool J. The problem LL Cool J has with it? He never sat down with the show. Now the star of NCIS: Los Angeles , LL (James Todd Smith) tweeted on Wednesday: “Fox lifted an old interview I gave in 2008 to someone else and are now misrepresenting to the public in order to promote Sarah Palin’s Show. WOW.” Wow is right. Real American Story or not, LL Cool J takes issue with tonight’s show. When contacted for comment, Fox News explained that LL Cool J had been informed in 2008 that the interview was planned as a segment for Real American Stories, though and the network couldn’t have known Palin would be hosting in 2010. The Fox spokesperson also said in a statement: ” Real American Stories features uplifting tales about overcoming adversity and we believe Mr. Smith’s interview fit that criteria. However, it appears Mr. Smith does not want to be associated with a program that could serve as an inspiration to others, so we are cutting his interview from the special and wish him the best with his fledgling acting career.” Fledgling? Cold, Fox. Cold.

‘Fox lifted an old interview I gave in 2008 to someone else,’ LL tweets about commercials for ‘Real American Stories.’ By Shaheem Reid LL Cool J Photo: Johnny Nunez/ WireImage LL Cool J took to his Twitter account to make it clear that despite the advertisements that make it seem otherwise, he is not going to appear on Sarah Palin’s “Real American Stories” show, set to debut on the Fox News Channel on Thursday (April 1). “Fox lifted an old interview I gave in 2008 to someone else & are misrepresenting to the public in order to promote Sarah Palin’s Show. WOW,” Uncle L tweeted . LL and Toby Keith were among the celebrities appearing in an advertisement for the new show that highlights individuals who have triumphed over adversity. On Wednesday, Cool J’s camp released a statement to MTV News further clarifying the rap legend’s stance. “Contrary to what was reported, LL Cool J was never scheduled to be a guest on ‘Real American Stories’ with Sarah Palin this week. The show had planned to use an interview from 2008 that was being repurposed without LL’s permission. This statement is not a reflection of any feelings LL has toward Fox News or Ms. Palin, whom he has never met, rather a clarification of what we have seen published in the media.” In a statement sent to the New York Times , Fox News said they decided to edit LL out of the show. “‘Real American Stories’ features uplifting tales about overcoming adversity and we believe Mr. Smith’s interview fit that criteria,” Fox said in the statement. “However, as it appears that Mr. Smith does not want to be associated with a program that could serve as an inspiration to others, we are cutting his interview from the special and wish him the best with his fledgling acting career.” Will you watch Sarah Palin’s new show?
