Bish please… According to TMZ reports : Dr. Conrad Murray’s girlfriend is begging the court to let him out of jail pending his appeal … claiming he’s a “good father” to their toddler. Nicole Alvarez — who played the femme fatale during the trial — filed a declaration of support for Murray today … in which she says if Murray is released he will live with her and their 2-year-old son in Santa Monica. It’s not the most powerful or emotional letter. Alvarez says, “Dr. Murray is the father of my child” — and adds … he “has been our primary source of support.” It’s unclear how much support Murray can provide now — considering his medical license has been revoked. Murray’s hearing for bail pending appeal of his manslaughter conviction is scheduled for tomorrow morning in downtown L.A. Random Ridiculousness: Dad Accidentally Turns On “Freaky Flick” At Child’s Birthday Party Instead Of The Smurfs

Those poor children are probably scarred for life now! He probably should have stuck to Pin the Tail on the Donkey. A Tremonton man hosting his child’s birthday party over the weekend briefly played a freaky and graphic video for kids in attendance, Police Chief Dave Nance said Monday. The man, whose name was not released, had rented “The Smurfs” DVD from a Redbox kiosk to show at the party, Nance said. However, after loading the movie into his laptop and switching on the device, graphic images briefly flashed up on a projection screen in view of the young partygoers, Nance said. The man notified police Monday to report someone had tampered with “The Smurfs” DVD. Police inspected the DVD but didn’t find any problem with the disc and assumed the flick was probably on the laptop. Information regarding how many children were at the party was not available. Police do not intend to investigate further or seek criminal charges because the incident was apparently an accident, Nance said, adding that the man is embarrassed. “He’s got some explaining to do (to children at the party and their parents),” he said. Paltrow was among the very first to tweet about the birth of her BFF Beyonce’s daughter Blue Ivy in early January — and the actress, 38, knew just what to gift the chanteuse and her bundle of joy. Paltrow treated Beyonce and husband Jay-Z to a Cameleon stroller by Bugaboo, boasting a dark gray base and off-white fabric; the posh baby-transporter retails for $979. (As it happens, Beyonce, 30, scored one of many smash singles with Destiny’s Child in 1999 with the song “Bugaboo,” about a male suitor who just doesn’t know when to give up.) But here’s a question: what the hell are Beyoncé and Jay-Z going to do with a stroller? That child is not going to see the light of day until she already knows how to walk, or maybe she won’t even need to walk because she’ll be carried aloft on a platform everywhere she goes. According to TMZ reports : We didn’t think it was possible — but Ne-Yo’s baby mama just broke the African-child-adopting records set by Madonna AND Angelina Jolie … combined … agreeing to adopt 48 children in Swaziland. Full disclosure — Monyetta Shaw’s not actually taking 48 children back to the United States with her … but she did agree to pay for their living costs for an entire year … a nearly $20,000 commitment. Sources tell TMZ, “Football Wives” star Chanita Foster (below) — who founded a charity called Beyond the Game to provide children in Swaziland with food, clothes, and education — got in touch with Monyetta about sponsoring a child or two … and Monyetta agreed. But we’re told, once Monyetta saw the 48 young faces in the charity’s brochure — she fell in love … and insisted on adopting all of them. Each kid costs roughly $30 a month — and Monyetta adopted 48 for an entire year … which means she’s in for $17,280. Not bad. Can you tell me how to get how to get to… the bank?? Looks like everyone’s favorite childhood show might be losing some serious guap. Yes. Sesame Street and its production company the Sesame Workshop do make a lot of money from product licensing, but not nearly enough to cover expenses. According to the company’s most recent financial report, the Workshop earned about $45 million in merchandising during 2010, which accounted for one-third of its total revenue. The rest came mainly from distribution fees and royalties, and from an assortment of private donors, corporate sponsors, and government grants. 45 mili?? That’s it? But wait, there’s more… That may sound like more than enough to make a puppet-based television show, but according to the same report, the operating expenses for the Sesame Workshop totaled about $133 million, including $37 million for production and development of TV shows at home and abroad; $41 million for production and distribution of non-TV content including apps, home video, and live entertainment; and a hair under $7 million for “Muppet acquisition.” The rest of the money goes towards education, outreach and fundraising expenses. Only about $4 million comes from PBS annually, and in return PBS only gets back SOME of the cost. Everyone grew up watching Sesame Street, could you imagine it not being on for future generations?
