GOP Senate Candidate Says Teachers Should Be Allowed Machine Guns In Schools A Republican Senate hopeful is raising a few eyebrows following his recent comments suggesting that teachers should be allowed to carry machine guns in schools. via Think Progress South Carolina state Sen. Lee Bright (R), who is challenging Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) in the GOP primary, said on Friday that school teachers should be able to carry machine guns to protect students from gun violence. Appearing on Fox News Radio’s “The Alan Colmes Show”, Bright expanded on his proposed bill to create high school courses on how to use a fire arm by agreeing with Colmes that the government cannot legally restrict gun ownership on school grounds: Colmes: So [teachers] shouldn’t have machine guns? Bright: I would think a teacher protecting a school grounds should be able to carry whatever she can carry legally. Colmes: So should machine guns be legal to carry? Bright: The Second Amendment is pretty clear. It says the right to carry arms should not be infringed. Colmes: So you should be able to have any gun you want? The 41-year old actress is rumored to be sleeping with French President Francois Hollande, as rumors continue to swirl around the actions of that politician overseas. Gayet is married to Argentinia director and script writer Santiago Amigorena and has two kids. She started acting at the age of 17 and recently portrayed a diplomatic adviser at the French foreign ministry in Quai d’Orsay . Gayet may be coy about her supposed affair with the President, but she’s always supported Hollande. In 2012, Gayet appeared in a promotional video for the President in which she described the Socialist candidate as “marvelous,” “humble” and “somebody who really listens.” See. There’s the key, fellas. Women love a man who listens. Chatter about a relationship between Gayet and Hollande first emerged early last year, but were flatly denied by both sides. The actress even engaged in legal action against various websites that were running the story, charging “infringement of personal privacy.” However, Gayet was asked about Hollande last month during a television interview when the reporter joked of the President visiting Gayet’s latest movie set: “The President loves the film. His partner [Valerie Treierweiler] much less.” Gayet, for possibly understandable reasons, refused to comment.

Man Steals Brains And Sells Them On eBay According to Indy Star: The details sound like the plot of a bad horror movie: Desperate for cash, a young man breaks into a warehouse to steal the brains of dead mental patients, and the body parts are later sold on eBay. This story line, however, is real. Authorities say David Charles, a 21-year-old Indianapolis resident, is accused of breaking into the Indiana Medical History Museum multiple times this year and stealing jars of human brain tissue and other preserved material. A tipster who paid hundreds of dollars on the online auction site helped bring the organ entrepreneurism to an end. The museum, 3045 W. Vermont St., is the site of the former Central State Hospital, which served patients with psychiatric and mental disorders from 1848 to 1994. Indianapolis police had investigated several break-ins at the museum’s storage facility before a California phone call led police to Charles. A San Diego man who had bought six jars of human brain tissue off eBay for $600, plus $70 shipping, called the museum after noticing labels on the containers and suspecting some kind of skulduggery, according to court documents. Detectives with the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department used that tip to trace the transactions, eventually speaking to the eBay seller who provided the brain tissue to the San Diego man. That seller had obtained the brain matter from Charles, police said. Police set up a sting on Dec. 16. The eBay middleman arranged a meeting in the parking lot of a Southside Dairy Queen with Charles, who the day before stole 60 jars of human tissue from the museum, according to authorities and court documents. Charles faces charges of theft, sticky icky possession and paraphernalia possession, according to court documents. Investigators also are looking into the possibility of additional charges, said A.J. A soul singer named Tyrone Davis recorded a 1979 song called, “Be With Me.” The music producer and publisher claim Luda flagrantly ripped them off with his 2010 tune. Truth be told … Luda’s not the main singer on “Be With You.” The song features David Banner and Marsha Ambrosius. Nonetheless, all 3 are being sued, plus many, many more. One of Nicki Minaj’s biggest hit songs, “Starships,” may be a rip off from someone else’s music, at least according to this new allegation made public. Nicki Minaj: Starships a Ripoff? EDM star Clive Tanaka claims it’s identical to a song he released a year before the rapper’s mega-hit … and now he’s suing her over it in federal court. Tanaka filed suit in Chicago this week against Nicki, three writers, and the producer, claiming copyright infringement on his 2011 tune, “Neu Chicago.” Tanaka went so far as to edit both songs on top of each other, and posted the end result. There are some similarities, but these things are always hard to prove. Also unclear is what took him so long to sue in the first place. The song was a hit two years ago, and coming forward now just makes him look desperate. So far, Gucci Mane has yet to weigh in on Twitter, but give it time.

Marvin Gaye’s Son Says Robin Thicke Copies Music Via TMZ reports: Marvin Gaye’s son is out for blood in his war with Robin Thicke, telling “TMZ Live” he resents Thicke’s lawsuit against the Gaye estate over “Blurred Lines” … and is strongly insinuating he plans to respond with legal action of his own. Marvin Gaye III dropped us a line Wednesday, and he’s not happy … basically saying Thicke has disrespected the Gaye family by shamelessly lifting his father’s famous tunes for the hit song (plus many other Thicke tracks). As you know, Thicke has filed a lawsuit against the Gaye estate, asking a judge to head off any legal action from the Gayes by ruling “Blurred Lines” does NOT violate Marvin’s copyrights. Marvin III says Thicke’s lawsuit is a total slap in the face. Marvin III hedged when we asked flat out if he plans to sue Thicke for copyright infringement … but the message was clear.
