But when you add pre-existing health problems into the mix it can get even more difficult for the finalists to make it to the stage twice a week. According to TMZ, one of the leading contenders on this year’s show, acoustic strummer Phillip Phillips, was rushed to a medical facility on Thursday morning for emergency treatment. Sources said Phillips, who suffers from kidney stones, was complaining of intense pain in his abdomen, but it is unclear what ailed him. TMZ claimed that someone close to Phillips suspected it could be gallstones. Phillips’s dad later reportedly told TMZ that his son has had 5 different procedures to remove kidney stones — including one in January — and that his boy is determined to stay in the competition, putting off any procedure for now. The Dave Matthews-esque footstomper was safely put through on Thursday night, when amiable Jeremy Rosado was sent home. If Phillips does stick it out, he wouldn’t be the first “Idol” favorite to battle illness on the show. Back in 2010, eventual runner-up Crystal Bowersox rebounded from a hospital stay and thoughts of throwing in the towel, with one of that season’s highlights. Bowersox, a diabetic, was told that she would be eliminated from the show if she didn’t not make it to that week’s performance. Andy Cohen faced the press/fire this week at the Television Critics Association, answering questions about the new season of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and, specifically, why Russell Armstrong has been featured despite his suicide in August. “He was given the option to not come back or come back and he chose to come back,” Cohen said. “He had spoken to producers a lot vocally about how it had helped his business being on the show, so you know, I can’t speak to that.” In an interview prior to the new season airing, Armstrong referred to the show as phony BS , warning that producers edit every action and every conversation. Did they ever considering cutting him entirely from the show, following his death? “We had many discussions, as you can imagine, for a long time about how to do the serious discussions,” said Cohen. “And I think what emerged is the story of a woman trying to extricate herself from a bad, broken marriage in which she was unhappy and in which domestic violence played a part. Rapper Lil Webbie was recently banned from BET’s “106 & Park” after an incident with host Rocsi . Terrence J. announced “We would not like to thank Lil Webbie who has been banned from the show. You will not see him on 106 & Park anymore.” Rumors began to circulate due to a lack of information but finally, Rocsi has addressed the issue, stating: “When you’re at your job and somebody sexually harasses you in a manner that is very vulgar and disgusting, I have no shame in sticking up for myself and telling you you are improper right now. I’m at work we are on a set, there are children around us, you’re really out of line right now.” Rocsi admits that she is still a fan of the Baton Rouge rapper. Webbie appeared as a judge for Freestyle Friday on BET’s “106 & Park,” and his flirting with Rocsi led to his ban from the show, and a new beef with Terrence J. At the end of the show, Terrence announced that Webbie was no longer welcome, and Webbie responded in the video below. As for the flirting allegations, Webbie claimed that Rocsi was actually trying to get with him. Terrence has not yet responded.
