Karissa and Kristina Shannon Class Things Up

I thought it might be nice to finish off the day with a few shots of some really good looking twins, but all I could find were shots of Kristina and Karissa Shannon out on the town. They’re not exactly supermodels, but I happen to like trashy looking blonds who aren’t afraid to show off their Playboy bodies in classy outfits so they’ll do. I’ve also got a video of the girls learning to work the stripper pole. Like they’ve never worked the pole before. Please.

Pam Behan, Former Kardashian-Jenner Nanny, Shopping Tell-All Book

Looks like The Help is turning on The Kardashians. A former family nanny is shopping a tell-all book about her time with the famous family before they were that famous. Spoiler alert: She’s not a big fan! Pam Behan, served as a nanny, personal assistant and cook for Bruce and Kris Jenner for years, getting to know the Kardashian girls and Brody Jenner. She couldn’t stand Brody or his brother Brandon (Bruce’s kids from his first marriage), calling the two Jenner boys “extremely spoiled and disrespectful.” As for the K-squad? Pam describes her relationship with Kris Jenner as a “love/hate” thing. We totally get it. Sort of like THG’s relationship with her, only without the first part. Despite selling him out in a book, she seems somewhat fond of Bruce, claiming he helped her avoid prosecution when she was busted for DUI a while back. Behan promises to reveal some “intimate details” about Kourtney and Kim Kardashian , which is surprising, as the girls were reportedly very fond of her. Then again, it could be one of those empty promises used to sell books, since no one would by a tell-all about Brody Jenner. Sorry B. Just how it is. Several agents have indicated interest, but no deal has been struck yet. [Photo: WENN.com]

Sources tell us … the woman behind the book, Pam Behan, served as a nanny, personal assistant and cook for Bruce and Kris Jenner for years … and spent all sorts of time with the Kardashian girls AND the Jenner boys, Brody and Brandon. We’re told … in the book, Pam makes it clear — she couldn’t stand Bruce’s sons … calling the two kids, “extremely spoiled and disrespectful.” In the book, we’re told Pam also claims she almost lost her job after slapping Brandon one day. As for the Kardashians — we’re told Pam describes her relationship with Kris as a “love/hate” thing … but she seems fond of Bruce, claiming he helped her avoid prosecution when she was busted for DUI a while back. Elizabeth Olsen, Shailene Woodley, and Other 2011 Highlights From The Verge

For nearly three years, Movieline’s Verge feature has introduced you to the likes of Jessica Chastain, Jennifer Lawrence, Armie Hammer, Emma Stone, Chris Hemsworth and dozens of other bright young screen talents on their ways to the big time. 2011 was no exception, so wind down the year with a look back at — and a word with — a few major new players you’ll be seeing plenty of in the future. John Boyega AGE: 19 THEN: Fought off alien invaders in South London in the cult favorite Attack the Block NOW: Leading the Spike Lee/Mike Tyson/John Ridley HBO series Da Brick ON COMING TO HOLLYWOOD “McDonald’s is a big highlight for me. [… Y]ou do things differently. Seriously. I mean, I asked for a burger and they give me a tank. It’s like, ‘Wow, you guys eat!’ I really respect that. We don’t have the little thing where you can refill your drinks. We don’t have that! So yeah, it’s been fun. Seeing the history, seeing the Hollywood sign. I’ve been on Sunset. I went to the Griddle Cafe. Oh, man. I had an Oreo pancake. It was heavenly. I don’t want to go back now, just because of that pancake.” Joel Courtney AGE: 15 THEN: Made film debut in J.J. Abrams’s Super 8 NOW: Will appear as the former Twain hero in upcoming Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn ON THE SPIELBERG FACTOR : OK, I have to tell you. The first time Riley [Griffiths] and I were doing a scene, and [Steven Spielberg] came in, I didn’t know if Riley saw him, but I did. I was like, ‘Dude!” He was like, ‘Yeah, I see him!’ It was so funny because during this scene we were trying not to break character because he was there but we really wanted to talk to him and meet him. And it pushed us to do better in the scene, because he was there. That’s one of our better scenes together. It’s the one where we’re watching the TV, watching the newscast, and he was there during that scene. While we were at Bad Robot watching [the film] with J.J., I was like, “Riley, that’s the scene Steven was there for!” He was like, ‘I know, it’s awesome!’” Jeremy Irvine AGE: 21 THEN: Made big-screen debut as Albert Narracott in Steven Spielberg’s War Horse NOW: Will play younger version of Colin Firth’s character in The Railway Man , appear as Pip in Great Expectations , and co-star with Dakota Fanning in Now is Good WORDS OF ADVICE : “You’ve got to get away from the crowd. If you stay with everyone else, then you’re just going to be another one. But there’s no set way. At the end of the day, what it all comes down to is being in the right place at the right time.” Brit Marling AGE: 28 THEN: Co-wrote and starred in the Sundance darling Another Earth NOW: Appearing opposite Richard Gere and Susan Sarandon in Arbitrage and in the all-star Robert Redford-directed thriller The Company You Keep ON EXCEEDING EXPECTATIONS : “When we were making this movie, we were saying at the beginning, ‘Oh yeah, we’ll have a screening at our house. How many people can we fit into the living room? If we bring in chairs and we borrow this person’s couch, we can fit 20 people in here to watch the movie!’ That’s kind of how we went about making it; we just wanted to make something, you know? The desire to just make something is so strong, you’re not even thinking about how it could enter the world. Getting to go to Sundance, and [Fox] Searchlight taking the film into their hands — which are the most capable hands in independent filmmaking — they put so much thought and feeling behind bringing this work into the world that basically, it’s every day a state of shock and awe.” Elizabeth Meriwether AGE: 30 THEN: Wrote the screenplay for the Natalie Portman/Ashton Kutcher comedy No Strings Attached NOW: Created Fox’s hit New Girl , has projects in development with Fox, Paramount and Universal ON THE MASTERPLAN : “This has just been a kind of unbelievable process. I just want to keep writing characters who are interesting and complicated people and interesting roles for women, in TV or film or in theater. I think that’s like my Blues Brothers mission.” Elizabeth Olsen AGE: 22 THEN: Wowed Sundance and stirred awards talk with her breakout role in Martha Marcy May Marlene NOW: Will appear in Peace, Love and Misunderstanding (with Jane Fonda), Red Lights (with Robert De Niro and Sigourney Weaver) and Very Good Girls (with Dakota Fanning) ON THE ART OF READING SCRIPTS : “There’s something that was really interesting that happened as I was reading it that I actually hadn’t experienced with other scripts, because it was also within the first six months of reading scripts and auditioning. Like when you’re reading a book in your head, you create this imaginary character, naturally. And it was my first time reading a script imagining myself instead of another character. Now, every time I read a script I try and make that happen, because it helps a lot to figure out or tell yourself, ‘Oh, I can do this,’ and then you end up reading it in a way that you would do it.” Corey Stoll AGE: 35 THEN: Stole scene after scene as Ernest Hemingway in Woody Allen’s monster hit Midnight in Paris NOW: Will appear in The Bourne Legacy and the Samantha Morton-led ensemble film Decoding Annie Parker ON THE AUDITION OF A LIFETIME : “It was like a two-page sentence with no punctuation. It was a lot to prepare in five or 10 minutes. But then I came in and did it, and he seemed really happy. He gave me one little adjustment, and I did it again. And that was it. It was a great audition — the best audition of my life in terms of the sense of not having to feel like I was auditioning, even. It was just this sense of, ‘Here, just read this. What does this sound like? Is this going to work?’ I was shockingly un-nervous for what the stakes were, because you look at it and think, ‘Wow. There are so many actors who would kill for this role.’ And it’s so well-written, and it’s such a juicy character, and you know that Woody Allen is going to direct it perfectly. It was just up to me to not screw it up. [Laughs]” Juno Temple AGE: 22 THEN: Had first leading role in the ’80s-era dramedy Dirty Girl NOW: Has a half-dozen projects in line for 2012, including the The Dark Knight Rises , Lovelace and Jack and Diane ON HER INSPIRATION : “I was 4 years old. It was L.A. – my parents lived in L.A. – and I was sitting on the couch. They had this great striped couch in the living room. My dad had a laser-disc machine. I remember the dress I was wearing, too: This little short, bright blue corduroy dress with red trim, buttoned up the front. I was wearing that. And my dad put on La Belle et la Bete , by Jean Cocteau. And I legitimately had my mind blown. I was in love with the beast. I wanted to be Belle more than I know how to put into words — still to this day, and I’m 22. I wanted to do that — anything I could do to make that stuff happen. So I started doing plays. I was always in fancy dress. It just became something I was obsessed with. I’ve always had a crazy, vivid imagination.” Shailene Woodley AGE: 20 THEN: Appeared as George Clooney’s daughter in The Descendants NOW: Navigating awards season (likely all the way to Oscar night) and upcoming fourth season of her hit TV show The Secret Life of the American Teenager ON FAME, THE NECESSARY EVIL : “As a kid, I never wanted to be in magazines. I never wanted to be that stupid ‘F’ word, famous. I never wanted to be an ‘S’ word, star. For me it was all about the art of acting. I remember being an 8-year-old and saying, “I’m going to be a third-grade teacher and on the side, I’ll act.” [Laughs] I don’t want to be a third-grade teacher anymore, but I do want to always acting be my hobby and it be fun. The day it becomes tedious or the day it becomes something I feel I have to do for money, or because of the industry, or because of some silly image, is the day I quit. If it’s not fueling something, why would I do it?” Follow S.T. VanAirsdale on Twitter . Follow Movieline on Twitter .

Tamar’s “Hood Rat Pop,” Toni’s Surgery & Towanda’s Big Secret on “Braxton Family Values” [RECAP]

See original here:

On this episode of “Braxton Family Values”, we get to see Tamar’s first recording session with Harvey. After searching for a song that she thinks will be right for her, she stumbles across a track with Lil Wayne rapping on it and decides that BOOM! this was the right track for her. Tamar calls her sound something like “hood rat pop” and doesn’t want any of that “Jersey Shore fist pumping music”. I’m sure you catch my drift, right? She knows that her hubby Vince isn’t going to be pleased with her song selection, but she’s hopeful that he will make her the “happiest princess in the pond” and let her do her own thing when it comes to her record. I ain’t mad at ya, Tamar! Meanwhile in LA, Toni calls an emergency meeting for her whole family, including her mother and father, because she has a huge announcement to make. The other girls are a little worried considering the urgency of Toni’s meeting and the fact that Towanda know’s Toni’s big announcement and is not spilling the beans to the rest of the girls. During Toni’s big meeting, she reveals that she has to have surgery- the next day! The girls are a little shaken up, shocked and scared at Toni’s news, but she assures them that she’ll be just fine. When the day comes for Toni’s big surgery, she has her whole family by her side, including her ex husband, Kerri. She comes through her surgery successfully, and although the girls are happy that Toni is alright, they are more focused on the fact that their mother and father are actually getting along during this time! Say what! Papa Braxton jokes that the girls though he and his ex-wife went on a date when they went to the cafeteria in the hospital together. But it is great to see them two getting along great especially considering what happened during their last face to face meeting.. Back in Atlanta, Towanda’s husband, Andre, has finally finished his book and is preparing for a book signing. Towanda was unsure if she would be able to attend the book signing because of the issues Toni was having with her surgery, but luckily she showed up to the book signing and was very proud of him for his efforts. But let’s be real, Andre still aint got no job. What did you think about this week’s episode? Chrissy: “You & Kim Must Be Sippin’ From The Same Stupid Juice!”, “Love & Hip-Hop” [RECAP]

Link:

Last night’s episode of “Love and Hip-Hop” definitely did not disappoint and brought the drama back to my Monday night television line-up, especially since there was no new episode last week. First, we see Emily and her new BFF Teairra Marie go furniture shopping for Em’s new place. While they’re shopping, Teairra gets Emily to agree to go on a blind date with her. Emily finally agreed though she keeps trying to convince herself and everyone else around her that this ISN’T a date and that she’s just accompanying a friend. I don’t know who she’s fooling, because this definitely looks like a date to me! I mean, the guy was cute and charming, and that flirtatious smirk on Emily’s face proves that deep down inside, she knew this was a date! It looks like all is well between Jimmy, Chrissy and Mama Jones as the three of them go out for a peaceful brunch together. Mama Jones tells Chrissy that she’s getting ready to make a video for her song “Psychotic” and asks Chrissy and Jimmy to star in it. Surprisingly, Chrissy doesn’t pop off at Mama Jones’ request (because I was definitely clenching my teeth and waiting for Chrissy to set it off in the restaurant) and actually finds it hilarious that she would ask them something like that. When Chrissy shows up to the video shoot, she politely tells Mama Jones that she doesn’t want to participate in the video. But that doesn’t sweat Nancy, “I roll by myself. I was born by myself, I’m gonna die by myself,”  she said. You tell ‘em Mama Jones! Chrissy and Kimbella meet up AGAIN because Kimbella still wants an apology. (When will this girl learn that Chrissy isn’t giving one?) It looks like we have a mole in the group and that mole is Olivia. At first, Olivia kept telling Kimbella to keep pressing Chrissy for an apology but then when Olivia meets with Chrissy and the other girls, she says, “Psh, Kimbella is going to KEEP asking for an apology? That’s insane!” SMH. Eventually the girls agree to make peace for the sake of their men, although Chrissy makes it clear to Kim that she is NOT sorry. Yandy also feels like she deserves an apology from Chrissy but Chrissy looks at Yandy like she’s crazy. “You’re waiting for an apology. You and Kim must be sippin’ from the same stupid juice, ’cause it’s not happening!” Hilarious! Emily has no time for their drama because she is busy helping out with Samantha Black’s Fashion Week show. She invites all the girls to the show and…Fab. And now we see why she was so adamant about her blind date not being called a date. She tells the girls that her and Fab have been secretly talking and going on a few dates. Hm…whatever makes you happy Em! What do you think about this week’s episode? My name is Stephanie and My Bieber Experience happened on…

My name is Stephanie and My Bieber Experience happened on November 23, 2011 .  JUSTIN BIEBER KISSED MY HAND!  I thought that meeting him which was on June 23, 2011 at Macy’s for his launch for his Someday perfume was amazing but after Justin kissing my hand…I don’t think anything can top that! On the 23rd, I had VIP  passes to the Today Show so I was allowed to go in first along with a few other girls. I got down to the city around 3am and waited in the pouring rain for hours and hours until they let us in by the stage. While I was standing in line, I didn’t even notice the One Less Lonely Girl from MSG was standing right in front of me! She is so nice! Everyone was asking to take pictures with her and I was talking to her the whole time. By the time they took us in, I couldn’t look any worse from the rain! When they let me go in I was right at the edge of the stage behind one girl. We waited for like an hour because Justin was late for soundcheck and as soon as he came out everyone went crazy. The rain stopped once he came out, but by that time, everyone looked horrible. I was so excited for the show to start! All the producers came out and gave us all these accessories. I got to talk to some of the cast like Matt Lauer and Ann Curry. They were talking to me and my mom. Scooter also came out before Justin went on and he was talking to us for a little. I got to touch his hand! Finally, when the show started he sang a couple of songs like ‘Never Say Never’ and ‘Chestnuts’. I touched his hand about a million times.  And he kept on looking at me. His big surprise was bringing out Usher and I got to touch his hand too! I was so close the them that I could’ve just stepped on stage if I wanted because the stage was so low. Finally, Justin sang ‘ Mistletoe ’. He came right towards me like 20 times and was basically singing right to my face. He kept putting out his hand right in front of me. At the end of the song he ran to the front and did this move and then he took my hand, held on to it for a few seconds, and at that point I could not believe my eyes, I was in complete shock, then he looked into my eyes and smiled, and then HE KISSED IT!!!!  I couldn’t believe it! There was about 1000 hands reaching out to his and he took mine! I was freaking out! My heart was pounding! I felt like the luckiest girl in the world. There was 6,000-7,000 people there and I was basically the luckiest girl there. Justin kissing your hand is like a once in a lifetime thing! And his lips are SO soft. Unfortunately..when he kissed my hand, the cameras on tv zoomed out while he did it. Just my luck. You see him bend down to kiss me but you don’t actually see the kiss. I was so upset because NO ONE has a video or picture anywhere. I saw every picture of Justin from the event online, but they don’t have one shot of him kissing me! The video I posted on Youtube is the only video there is for it. After Justin kissed my hand, I was freaking out! I was hysterical crying, my mom even started to cry because she was so happy for me. All the girls around me were starring at me, so many people were coming over to me, girls even asked if they can touch my hand. I was like absolutely not! When Justin kissed my hand, I was wearing a Tiffany ring and he touched it. So I put the ring on my necklace and I’ve been wearing it everyday ever since. You can watch the video when he kissed my hand that I took here .  I’ll never forget that day! It was the best day of my entire life! DREAM BIG AND NEVER SAY NEVER! DREAMS DO COME TRUE! -@BieberTeamOfNY More: My name is Stephanie and My Bieber Experience happened on…

Girls Drop Out Of Girl Scouts After Transgendered Boys Allowed In

Continue reading here:

Girl Scouts USA’s recent revelation that its local chapters sometimes induct boys who try to live as girls, considered transgendered, is already having repercussions in Louisiana, where three troops at a Christian school have disbanded in disappointment. 3 Ways To Get “Self-Centered” For The Holidays Susan Bryant-Snure of Lacombe, La., is one of three troop leaders at Northlake Christian School who resigned and are dismantling their troops because the policy is in conflict with that of the host school. Her three daughters, ages 10, 6 and 4, are among 25 girls who had been active scouts there. Instead, Northlake is investigating aligning with American Heritage Girls, a group organized in 1995 in protest to the Girl Scouts’ decision to allow scouts to replace the word “God” in scout teachings with a word representing a personal image of God, such as a “higher being,” “Allah” or “Buddha.” The newer group proclaims Jesus Christ as Lord, limits membership to girls and works to disciple girls as Christians. Russell Simmons Steps Up & Buys Ad Time On TLC Show The issue came to light late last month when a mother in Denver, Colo., tried to gain entry into the Girl Scouts for her son, a biological 7-year-old male who seeks to live as a little girl. Initially turned away, the mother called a press conference in protest. This led the Colorado chapter to reveal its practice of inclusion, which evaluates the admission of boys, albeit transgendered, on a case-by-case basis. While the Denver boy had not been admitted as of early December, the Colorado group is discussing the matter with the mother and is amenable to admitting the boy if he is living as a girl, explained Rachelle Trujillo, vice president for communications of the Colorado Girl Scouts.
