‘Glee’ Cast ‘Not Surprised’ By Lindsay Lohan Cameo Drama

‘I mean, you never really know what’s true and what’s not,’ Lea Michele tells MTV News about Lohan’s appearance on the show. By Jocelyn Vena Lindsay Lohan on “Glee” Photo: Adam Rose/ FOX On Tuesday night, the long-hyped Lindsay Lohan episode of “Glee” hit the airwaves. Although her appearance was short, it was also full of sweet, self-deprecating humor. The actress, playing herself, was able to make cracks about her contentious public image. Joking on the show that she’s “in full ‘image re-branding mode’ here, people,” Lohan appeared as a judge at Nationals choir competition in Chicago, where the Gleeks of the New Directions were performing for all the glory. Lohan’s glory may have lasted only two minutes and 46 seconds, but she packed some punches, even taking a shot at “The Voice,” which has been going head-to-head with “Glee” network Fox’s own “American Idol” this season. “I show up here and there isn’t even a red button I can push and a chair that can spin me around, where I can then point at a kid onstage and say, ‘I want to work with you’? I’m seriously firing my manager.” Leading up to her cameo, there had been lots of chatter that LaLohan may not have been all that professional about the gig. After being cast on the show in March , rumors began to spread weeks later that the actress was late to set because she had been hitting the party scene right before she had to shoot. While co-star Perez Hilton (who also played a judge on the episode) skirted around the issue when MTV News caught up with him, the show’s stars Lea Michele and Chris Colfer seemed unaware of the controversy. Colfer shared that he was “not surprised, unfortunately” to hear that people had been spreading rumors about her, with his pal Michele adding that everything seemed kosher when she was on set. “I mean, you never really know what’s true and what’s not,” she explained to MTV News at the Fox upfront in New York City this week. “From what we know, she did her stuff and we were busy shooting ours.” Regardless of what really happened when Lohan appeared on the show, perhaps this line stands as her finest statement about her relationship with the public: “Is there anything better than someone making a comeback?” The show’s third season finale, “Goodbye,” airs May 22. Season four will kick off this fall with a spankin’-new Britney Spears tribute episode , as well as cameos by Kate Hudson and Sarah Jessica Parker . What did you think of Lindsay’s cameo on “Glee”? Miley Cyrus on Sex: Beautiful, Necessary!

Give Miley Cyrus credit: she isn’t just walking the walk. This young artist is talking the talk. Following Miley’s VERY revealing outfit at Sunday’s Billboard Music Awards, more excerpts from her appearance on Lifetime’s The Conversation With Amanda de Cadenet have leaked – and they tout the awesomeness and the importance of sexual intercourse. “Girls who base how much they’re worth on the sexual favors they can do for somebody, that makes me really sad,” Cyrus says in an interview that airs Thursday. “Because sex is actually really beautiful.” Sex is also vital… to the existence of the human race. “It’s the only way that we create and it’s the only way that the world keep going,” Miley continued. “It’s ignorant to not talk to your kids about it or make it seem like it’s not as cool or magical as it actually is. If [kids] have a TV, they know what sex is. Everyone knows, so educate them.” Elsewhere on the show, Cyrus goes off on her critics , labeling them as “sexist” for taking issue with her attire. How do you feel about Miley’s view on sex?

Would Will Smith Make a Good Barack Obama?

While promoting Men in Black III, Will Smith touched upon a more realistic character he would love to play in a movie someday: Barack Obama. “It’s definitely something I would consider,” he said, noting that he feels he’s “the most natural choice” to play the President of the United States. Why? Because … “It’s about the ears! That’s the thing. You know, people see the ears. Barack and I both have the ears . Clearly I’m the most natural choice.” Smith, 43, related that he joked to Obama that while he would consider playing him on-screen, it was up to the president “to write the ending.” Will and Barack don’t just have their ears in common – they’ve both got an abundance of wit and charm, and were born in Kenya . Just kidding! No, seriously, can you see the movie star as our President? You tell us: Would Will Smith make a good Obama?

Lea Michele’s Got Healthy Cleavage

Is this Lea Michelle chick still on Glee ? Because I thought that show was supposed to be about teenage kids who all just happen to have great singing voices, this chick looks all woman to me. Here she is outside the David Letterman studios dropping some impressive cleavage. I just read an article about how staring at women’s breasts is good for men’s health and makes them live longer. The survey claims that a ten minute ogle at women’s breasts is as healthy as thirty minutes in the gym. Awesome! Can I get a doctor’s note for this? I’m going for a workout.

‘Glee’ Creator Confirms: Everyone Is Coming Back

‘I wanted to do the right thing by all of them,’ Ryan Murphy tells Vulture. By Fallon Prinzivalli, with additional reporting by Christina Garibaldi “Glee” Photo: Adam Rose/ FOX Twitter is a blessing that affords celebrities the ability to communicate with fans and update on their projects. But it can also be a curse when it sparks unwanted rumors — as “Glee” star Amber Riley found out the hard way. Gleeks thought the actress wasn’t returning to the show next fall when Riley tweeted , “Just closed a chapter in my life, the only thing I’ve known day in and day out for three years. I’m going to miss the whole Glee family, seeing them everyday!” When the show’s creator Ryan Murphy spoke to Vulture , he dispelled the gossip. “A lot of people have been writing Dianna [Agron] off the show, Amber’s off the show — they’re not off the show,” he said. “I think Amber was talking about that bittersweet feeling of, ‘I’ll never be in the choir room with that exact group of people.’ … She’s excited about where her character is going. They all are. I wanted to do the right thing by all of them.” MTV News caught up with Agron before the news broke that her character was returning. The actress told us that while she’s interested in the future of Quinn, she likes the story line to be a surprise. “It’s so funny, because I do write, and there was part of me that was like, ‘Oh, I know these characters inside and out. What if they gave me a shot to sit in the writer’s room and toy away with that?’ But at the same time, it’s like, ‘I don’t want to have any say in that.’ I love the surprise element of it.” While fans need not worry about the fate of Lea Michele, Cory Monteith or Chris Colfer following reports that the show will track Rachel, Finn and Kurt’s New York adventures , it’s hard not to wonder what’s in store for the glee-club seniors as they graduate on the season finale. With Quinn (Agron) off to Yale and Puck (Mark Salling) headed to California to expand his pool-cleaning business, some characters could get tossed to the side. But Murphy said that he told the actors if they wanted to stay on the show, he had a place for them — including Matthew Morrison’s Will Schuester and Jane Lynch’s Coach Sue Sylvester. “They’re all coming back,” he said. “Anyone who is a regular is coming back. Everyone said yes.” But he does clarify that they may not come back for the long haul. “It doesn’t mean everyone will be doing 22 episodes, but everyone wants to stay in our family and our world,'” he revealed. “I wanted to make sure those actors know that if they want to have a home, they have a home. If they want to explore new and different things while also having a home, that is also an option.” “Glee” returns to Fox this fall, moving from Tuesday to Thursday nights, and is set to begin season four with a second Britney Spears tribute episode .

Britney Spears To Get New ‘Glee’ Tribute Episode

Fox comedy will also move to Thursday, like ‘X Factor,’ where Brit has signed on to judge. By Jocelyn Vena Heather Morris and Britney Spears on the set of “Glee” Photo: Facebook After drawing record ratings the first time around, “Glee” has announced plans to pay homage to Britney Spears … one more time. The news comes hot on the heels of the announcement that Spears will join the “X Factor” as judge, when the competition show returns to Fox this fall on Thursday nights. (Glee also moves to Thursdays for season four.) While Brit appeared in the September 2010 tribute episode, which used her impressive collection of hits, the 2012 tribute episode will instead focus on her “Glee” namesake, Brittany S. Pierce (played by Heather Morris), without any appearances from Spears. EW.com reports that the new episode will be the second in the show’s fourth season, returning in the fall. The Spears-centric episode will feature eight of her songs, and a source revealed that Fox is excited to have Spears joining the network on “X Factor” and that the “Glee” ep is partly a reflection of that. Spears was on hand Monday at the Fox Upfront presentation in New York City, where she appeared alongside fellow “X Factor” newbie Demi Lovato , as well as returning judges L.A. Reid and Simon Cowell. At the event, the judges and host of “So You Think You Can Dance” weighed in on the ladies joining the show . “I don’t have any advice for those ladies,” “SYTYCD” host Cat Deeley told MTV News. “What I do like about it though is they will be able to absolutely impart some serious wisdom. I love the idea that they’ve been in the business for so long and since being kids, and so quite often they’ve had successes and they’ve had failures on things. “And I think the most important thing is the mistakes we make,” she added. “You learn so much from mistakes that you make and I think they’ll be able to impart their wisdom to the new kids coming through. I think it’s a great booking.” Are you excited for another Britney tribute episode on “Glee”? Tell us what songs you want to hear in the comments section! Related Artists Britney Spears
