Gleebasing: The Rachel Berry Train Wreck Extravaganza

Last night’s episode of Glee , “Blame It on the Alcohol,” was not just — as Will Schuester would call it — an “elaborate booze dream.” Schue did in fact drunkenly ride a mechanical bull and line dance with McKinley High’s brute football coach. The New Directions did projectile vomit a purple drank-derivative during a school assembly performance of Ke$ha’s “Tik Tok.” And finally, Rachel Berry did make out with a gay dude while wearing a pistachio- colored housecoat. So steel your stomachs, dear Glee basers, and join us below for a more detailed recap of last night’s inebriated events and a pop quiz!

Nick Jonas Would Love to Appear on Glee

Following an episode of Glee that featured a Justin Bieber tribute band , another young, cute talented musician has thrown his curly hair into the ring for a future appearance on the Fox smash. Isn’t that right, Nick Jonas? “I really do appreciate the use of music in Glee ,” he told TV Squad. “I think everyone can relate that’s in the music business. Everyone’s just thankful that music is kind of popular again because Glee does a great job of incorporating it into the show. I would humbly say that if there’s ever an opportunity they see that I could work well on that show, I would be honored.” Jonas guest-starred last week on Mr. Sunshine . Would you wanna see him roaming the halls of William McKinley?

Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter Finds Its Mary Todd

Mary Elizabeth Winstead might have been passed over for The Avengers (love ya, Mary Elizabeth, but Team Cobie all the way!), but it appears she hasn’t been left out of the franchise sweepstakes. The Scott Pilgrim vs. The World star has reportedly landed the lead female role in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter . Winstead will play Mary Todd opposite Benjamin Walker’s vampire killing president. Expect every geek you know to be very excited about this news. [ THR /Heat Vision ]

Could Ryan Murphy’s New FX Project American Horror Story Be Good For Glee?

Just two days after Fox aired a mediocre episode of Glee entitled “The Comeback,” co-creators Ryan Murphy and Brad Fulchack have announced their own comeback. The pair are returning to the network’s cable offshoot FX — where they created Nip/Tuck — to film a mysterious pilot called American Horror Story . While no details were given about the subject matter of the project — other than the fact that the hour-long drama will begin production in April — we here at Movieline HQ think that the diversion might actually be the perfect remedy for the creators of Fox’s tired musical series.

Where Will Meet Monica Velour Rank on a List of Hilariously Bad Kim Cattrall Movies?

It’s unofficially Kim Cattrall Day at Movieline! Woo! How dubious! First we got our anti-hopes up for Sex and the City 3 , and now new pictures from Cattrall’s film Meet Monica Velour are out . In the indie drama, she plays an ’80s porn star who starts a romance with a teenage superfan in Indiana. Let’s take a gander and see if this looks worse or “better” than Bonfire of the Vanities and Mannequin .

REVIEW: Let’s Just Shoot I Am Number Four Back Into Space, OK?

Anyone who has ever been a child or played with one is familiar with the narrative universe of I Am Number Four , a teen alien/superhero/savior/vampire mash-up that’s all guts and no glory. In it, things happen in an order that’s too erratic to be called a sequence and yet too processed to amount to much of a story. Props, plot points, and ass-saving contingencies erupt only on the point of crisis, as they do in child’s play: Oh you’re an alien from a far-off planet? Well I am a different alien sent to kill you ! Oh you suddenly have superpowers to deflect my intergalactic weapons? Well guess what–I have a monster Fire-proof shield!

Can You Honestly Tell the Difference Between Glee and Kidz Bop’s ‘Tik Tok’?

This Glee show that Julie likes is out of control. It’s unfunny, witlessly tone-shifty, and a pox on this Golden Age of Television that keeps happening. Also, the “music” is scathing! Case in point: In the musical preview for next week’s episode, we hear the show’s clear-best character Brittany lead Ke$ha’s “Tik Tok.” Compare that rendition to the Kidz Bop Kids version and tell me if there’s really any difference (besides the awesomely kid-friendly lyrics).
