‘Glee’ Justin Bieber Episode Needs ‘The Hairdo,’ Darren Criss Says

On Golden Globes red carpet, actor also pleads for Gwyneth Paltrow’s character to teach at his Dalton Academy. By Aly Semigran, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Darren Criss Photo: Steve Granitz/ WireImage It was a good night for “Glee” at the Golden Globes, to say the least. If Chris Colfer and Jane Lynch’s wins (not to mention the show walking away with the award for Best Television Series- Comedy or Musical for the second straight year ) weren’t enough to satisfy fans, new addition Darren Criss had plenty of news to have them Gleeking out. The actor — who made Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream” even more popular than the original during his first season — talked about Justin Bieber and Gwyneth Paltrow with our very own Josh Horowitz. The lively star, who donned a pair of hot-pink sunglasses, joked that he wanted to rock fellow Globes attendee and presenter Justin Bieber in his arms. In addition to finding out that the tween star was nearby, he also heard the news (thanks to co-star Amber Riley telling MTV News) that the “Glee” cast would be singing not one, but two Justin Bieber songs. The star (who admitted he had previously heard word about the possibility of this happening) also said he wasn’t sure if he would be one of the castmembers belting out the Biebs’ hits. “If I do [sing them], I hope they tell me soon which one!” he said. “It should be fun,” Criss said about the upcoming covers, adding, “I just hope they do the hairdo!” But Bieber’s famed coif isn’t the only thing he hopes to see in the second half of the season, which returns in February. While he and guest star Gwyneth Paltrow both starred in the episode “The Substitute,” his character, Blaine, had no onscreen time with her Holly Holliday. “I feel like I’m on my own spin-off: ‘Dalton,’ ” Criss joked, referring to Dalton Academy, where his character attends school. “So I never get to meet or spend time with a lot of the guest stars.” While it’s been reported that Paltrow’s substitute teacher will return to teach sex education at McKinley High School and will start up a relationship with Matthew Morrison’s Mr. Schuester, Criss had another story idea for the Oscar-winner. “Maybe she could be a sub at Dalton! That would be awesome,” he suggested before confessing, “I’m in love with Gwyneth. I would love to meet her.” We’ve got the Golden Globes covered! Ryan Gosling Had ‘No Nerves’ Going Into The Golden Globes

‘We were in no danger of winning,’ the ‘Blue Valentine’ star tells MTV News of his Best Actor in a Drama loss. By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Ryan Gosling Photo: David Livingston/ Getty Images The last few interactions MTV News has had with Ryan Gosling have been interesting, to say the least. Going back to January 2010, when we first had the opportunity to sit down with him and “Blue Valentine” co-star Michelle Williams, what should have been a serious conversation about a serious movie ended up introducing us to a new term: “cranking.” “It’s when you cry while you masturbate,” Gosling explained at the time. Now, ever since that fateful interview, it’s become a running joke, and we bring it up every time we encounter the Golden Globe-nominated actor. Case in point, the Weinstein Golden Globes afterparty, where we asked Gosling if he would be dealing with his loss in the Best Actor category to “King’s Speech” star Colin Firth by cranking. Gosling scoffed at that suggestion and insisted he has never cranked. “I never did crank,” he said. “I know you think that I did, but I didn’t.” Fair enough, Ryan. So in all seriousness, how did he handle the pressure of being nominated and then not winning? “We were in no danger of winning,” Gosling said. “So there were no nerves, no speeches to plan. Just [going] to have a nice night. I had a nice time — did you?” Gosling asked of “Valentine” writer/director Derek Cianfrance. “I had a very nice night, yes,” Cianfrance responded. “There was nice cucumber sandwiches on white bread. Little rectangles, finger sandwiches, I think. That was a good time.” “There was a menu,” Gosling added. “But no evidence of what was on that menu ever appeared.” We’ve got the Golden Globes covered! Lea Michele ‘Excited’ For Gwyneth Paltrow’s ‘Glee’ Return

Starlet also reveals to MTV News on Golden Globes red carpet that ‘the boys’ will belt the Bieber tunes on upcoming episode. By Mawuse Ziegbe Lea Michele Photo: Frazer Harrison/ Getty Images Gwyneth Paltrow’s “Glee” guest spot was so memorable that the Oscar-winning “Country Strong” star will be heading back to the show for a second go-around. This time, she and “Glee” faculty heartthrob Matthew Morrison will be heating things up with a romantic story line. Aside from the dating arc with Mr. Schuester, details about how Paltrow will once again shake things up as sassy substitute Holly Holliday remain scant — even “Glee” star Lea Michele is in the dark about her possible scenes with the superstar actress. When MTV News caught up with the singer/actress on the Golden Globes red carpet on Sunday (January 16), she admitted that she didn’t know much about Paltrow’s return but maintained, “I’m excited. Anything with Gwyneth is great.” In addition to Paltrow, superstar Justin Bieber is set to be incorporated into the hit show soon, as the show is slated to take on some of the pop star’s peppy catalog. But when it comes to the Biebs, Michele divulged that she won’t be belting any of the teen idol’s tunes, and said everything will be left up to the “Glee” guys. “I’m not [singing Justin Bieber], but the boys are,” Michele dished. While Michele was short on “Glee” details, show co-creator Ryan Murphy recently revealed how Bieber would fit into in the hit series, batting away rumors that an all-Bieber episode was in the works. “Those [tributes] are reserved for artists with big catalogs,” Murphy explained of why they won’t dedicate an entire episode to the teen sensation’s smashes. “Bieber comes up in episode 13 as a small plot point. Sam [Chord Overstreet] sings a JB song to win Quinn’s [Dianna Agron] approval. Are you excited to catch Justin Bieber’s music and Gwyneth Paltrow’s return on “Glee”? Let us know in the comments! Golden Globe Awards Honor Glee, The Social Network, Call Out Gay Scientologists

Ricky Gervais kicked off the 2011 Golden Globe Awards by staying true to his vow to be more subversive than he was a year ago. Just ask Tom Cruise and John Travolta, at whom the comedian aimed this opening joke: “Also not nominated was I Love You Philip Morris , Jim Carrey and Ewan McGregor. Two heterosexual characters pretending to be gay. So the complete opposite of some famous Scientologists, then… Probably. My lawyers helped me with the wording of that joke. They’re not here.” And with that… the show was off! Drive Horny: More on Charlotte Ross’s 3D Nudity in Drive Angry

A month ago, we reported that Charlotte Ross , who plays Quinn’s MILFtastic mom on the Fox phenomenon Glee and whose T&A-baring shower scene in the 2003 season of the ABC cop drama NYPD Blue almost cost the network $1.4 million in FCC fines is going to be going full-frontal in 3D in Drive Angry . But now one of our skin scouts has sneaked a peek at the upcoming action flick and has the full skinny on what kind of eye-popping T&A we can expect. 14 minutes in, Christa Campbell shows boobs, butt, and bush when Amber Heard drags her off of the dude she’s screwing and starts beating the crap out of her. At the 27-minute mark comes Charlotte’s long-awaited full-frontal when she shows off her rack and bald beaver riding Nicholas’s dickolas. Three minutes later, we get left tit from and a flash of can from Ms. Ross followed by another quick full frontal as she lies naked on the floor. It’s all in the red band clip re here . But the skin party’s not over because one hour and twenty minutes in, hot-as-Hell Devil-worshipper Kimberly Shannon Murphy shows all three B’s dancing on top of an RV and then again at 1:23 and 1:28. May the glorious era of 3D nudity never end.

Glee’s Heather Morris on Her Viral Rap Video, Sofia Vergara and Her Lesbian Make Out Scene

The second season of Glee has been an important one for Heather Morris. The actress — who portrays Brittany, the ditzy New Directions member who believes that Dr. Pepper is a dentist — became an official series regular, made her singing debut (in her character’s titular episode), out-danced Britney Spears and established herself as the most reliably funny actor on the Emmy-nominated series. Knowing all of this, Movieline made a point to track down the Arizona-raised back-up-dancer-turned-actress at Tuesday night’s Fox TCA Press Party to ask the break-out triple talent about her hilarious viral rap video , the possibility of a lesbian relationship on the show and her character’s patented one-liners.
