Congratulations: LL Cool J Set To Host 54th Annual Grammy Awards!!!

Say what you want but this LL man has stayed relevant for a hell of a long time… Two-time GRAMMY winner LL Cool J is set to host the 54th Annual GRAMMY Awards, marking the first time in seven years that the music industry’s premier event will have an official host. “I’m thrilled to be part of Music’s Biggest Night,” said LL Cool J. “I will always have fond memories of my first GRAMMY Awards and to now be hosting the GRAMMY show, in the company of so many other incredible artists, is a dream come true. Great performances and great music — it’s gonna be a great night!” LL Cool J has hosted “The GRAMMY Nominations Concert Live!! — Countdown To Music’s Biggest Night” since its inception in December 2008, and this will be his first time hosting the annual GRAMMY Awards telecast. Recent past hosts include Queen Latifah at the 47th GRAMMY Awards and Jon Stewart at the 43rd and 44th GRAMMY telecasts. The Grammy-nominated singer has been off the live performance radar since surgery to stop bleeding from a polyp on her vocal cords 
 in November, but organizers of the show confirmed on Thursday that she will sing again at the event where she is nominated for three awards. “F—ing happy, thank you for the nods xx,” she Tweeted on Thursday in response to the nominations. Adele is not, however, the most nominated act at the Brits. She shares three nods with Jessie J, while unknown-in-the U.S. singer/songwriter Ed Sheeran topped an nominees with four nominations. Rihanna and ex-boyfriend Chris Brown have not only let bygones be bygones, she is actively looking to win him back! According to a tabloid source, anyway. Publicly, they are expected to come face to face at the Grammys on February 12, but sources say that the former couple is already spending time together! “Not only has she initiated a Twitter conversation with Chris for all to see, but she has gone to see him,” an insider close to Chris dishes to Life & Style . Of Rihanna, the source adds: “She stopped by Chris’ studio to see him recently – twice. She’s also calling and texting him a lot. She won’t let go.” Rihanna, 23, ended their relationship in early 2009 for obvious reasons after Chris Brown, 22, was charged with assaulting her after a pre-Grammy Awards party. Time has healed those wounds – physical and otherwise – however. This latest report is the latest of several suggesting Rihanna and Chris may get back together . “She’s trying to break up Chris and his girlfriend, [Karrueche Tran],” says the source. “Chris is happy, but Rihanna keeps playing her games to make trouble.” “It’s really become an issue lately.” Chris and Karrueche Tran have reportedly been dating since 2010. They are up against some stiff competition in the form of Nicki Minaj, Bon Iver, J. Cole and Skrillex. With artists from such a wide range of musical styles making the final cut, the category sets up one of the year’s most-interesting contests. The group’s leading lady spoke to MTV News on Wednesday night backstage at the Grammy Nominations Concert in Los Angeles, where artists including Lady Gaga took the stage . “Our parents were here with us tonight, so we all hugged, and I cried a little bit, and the second thing that popped into my mind was, ‘What a diverse category!’ ” Kimberly Perry shared. “There’s so many genres represented just in the new artist batch, and we’re just really, really honored to represent country in that.” The band, composed of three siblings, has been getting attention in the mainstream thanks to the success of their self-titled album, released in October 2010, and its breakthrough hit “If I Die Young,” a ballad about the perils of, well, dying young. When The Checks Stop Coming In: TLC’s T-Boz Files For Bankruptcy!

We’re sure someone can help her. What about her friends??? According to TMZ reports : T-Boz ain’t too proud to beg — just like TLC sang back in the 90s — because she’s filed for bankruptcy. According to docs filed last month in U.S. Bankruptcy Court, T-Boz (real name Tionne Watkins) found herself owing creditors $768,642.99 — mostly from mortgages on her $1.2 million house. The docs don’t paint a picture of exorbitant spending — she takes in $11,700/month in income, with monthly expenses totaling $8,821. TLC had ten top ten singles, four number one singles, four multi-platinum albums, and four Grammy Awards … but according to the docs, T-Boz only pulls in $1,200/month in royalties. T-Boz might have dodged the bankruptcy bullet if she’d been able to collect the child support she claims she’s owed — which according to the docs is $250,000. Calls to her attorney were not returned. All jokes aside, we hope that T-Boz is able to get her money situation under control. It’s always sad to see someone who had so much success be under financial duress. More On Bossip! Chris Brown is still on probation after pleading guilty to assaulting Rihanna in February 2009. The singer admitted striking his then-girlfriend in a rented car after leaving a pre-Grammy Awards party two years ago. A nu-de photograph of Chris Brown was leaked online on Friday, showing the singer standing in from of a bathroom mirror, taking the photo with his iPhone, reports MTV. Brown was sentenced to five years of probation and six months of community service and was ordered by the courts
