And the Grammy for Best Nude Artist Goes to….

2010 was a banner year for cleavage at the Grammys, as the ladies of the music biz charitably showed off their chest clefts. Performers included XXXtina Aguilera , busting out of a slinky black gown, and Katy Perry , whose gigantic 32DD milk jugs deserve their own Grammy for Best Male Tent-Pitching Performance. Lady Gaga , freakishly sexy as always, walked away with the award for Best Female Pop Vocal. Despite her penchant for perturbing her audience with her fashion choices (remember the literal meat curtains she sported at last year’s MTV Video Music Awards?), Gaga rarely exposes her hoo-ha. Fans are left searching for unguarded moments of nip slip, like in her Alejandro video. But luckily, the Grammy for Best Nude Artist has some stiff competition…

Skylar Grey ‘Flattered’ Eminem, Dr. Dre Tapped Her For Detox

‘Dr. Dre has been working on it for 10 years and now I’m on a single,’ breakout singer tells MTV News of Grammy night collabo. By Jayson Rodriguez, with reporting by Sway Calloway Skylar Grey at the 2011 Grammy Awards Photo: Jason Merritt/ Getty Images Skylar Grey found herself on the largest stage in music at Sunday night’s Grammy Awards when she joined Eminem and Dr. Dre for the duo’s “I Need a Doctor.” The Wisconsin-bred singer penned the chorus for the Alex Da Kid-produced number as well as Em’s Grammy-nominated “Love the Way You Lie” featuring Rihanna. And although the veteran songwriter is used to being behind the scenes, Grey says she enjoyed her time in the spotlight. “I was just flattered that they would involve me on such a project,” she told MTV News on the Grammy red carpet. “Dr. Dre has been working on [ Detox ] for 10 years and now I’m on a single off of it.” Grey’s profile has been increasing lately, from her exposure as the woman behind the moving chorus of “Love the Way You Lie” and T.I.’s “Castle Walls to lending her vocals to “I Need a Doctor” and being featured on Lupe Fiasco’s latest single, “Words I Never Said” and Diddy-Dirty Money’s “Coming Home.” She’s working on her still-untitled solo debut with Alex Da Kid and the two are reaping the benefits of fusing her alt-sounding vocals with the British producer’s sweeping production. “It’s just a creative experience being in the studio with different people,” she said of the pair’s work. “I’m not from the hip-hop world but I think that’s what works for the sound that we got. The combination of the alternative chorus mixed with the hip-hop verses.” Are you eager to hear more music from Skylar Grey? Tell us in the comments! Kim Kardashian To Drop New Single ‘In About Three Weeks’

‘I’m so excited,’ the reality starlet says of the track, ‘Turn It Up,’ which was produced by The-Dream. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Sway Calloway Kim Kardashian at the 2011 Grammy Awards Photo: Getty Images Kim Kardashian is mere weeks away from dropping her long-simmering single, “Turn It Up,” which she debuted at a Las Vegas nightclub earlier this year. For the dance track, the reality starlet worked with The-Dream, got some encouragement from Kanye West and Ciara, and even shot a slick music video with Hype Williams. Kim talked about the new song with MTV News on the red carpet of the Grammy Awards on Sunday night, finally announcing when fans will get to hear the tune. “[It’s coming out] in about three weeks,” she told Sway Calloway and special MTV correspondent Snooki. “I’m so excited.” Kardashian further revealed that, “in a couple of weeks,” fans will be able to see footage of her working on “Turn It Up” on her E! reality show Kourtney & Kim Take New York . She also admitted that she really had to step out of her comfort zone when hitting the studio to record the song, which has yet to be heard by the world. “You know it was something that I was really uncomfortable and nervous about, and [The-Dream] really just wanted me to step outside of my box and try something I’ve never done before,” she said. “So I was really honest. I’m like, ‘You’re not gonna get Beyonc

Paramore Say New Tour Will Be A ‘Big Party’

Hayley Williams tells MTV News newly configured band is ‘excited’ to kick off South America mini-tour. By Aly Semigran Paramore at the Grammy Awards on Sunday Photo: John Shearer Don’t cry for Paramore , Argentina. Although the pop-rock band — now two members short since the departure of Josh and Zac Farro — went home empty-handed at Sunday’s 53rd Annual Grammy Awards , they’ve got plenty to look forward to. MTV News caught up with crimson-haired lead singer Hayley Williams and the remaining band members on the Grammy red carpet and they talked about their upcoming tour in South America, which will include stops in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and Lima, Peru. As it turns out, the group was wasting no time between the ceremony and hitting the road. “We leave tomorrow,” Williams told us. “We’re so excited.” The 22-year-old frontwoman revealed it’s been nearly three years since Paramore performed in South America and they plan to make up for lost time. Beginning in Brazil on February 16 and concluding on March 6 in San Juan, Puerto Rico, the chart-topping rockers will play 11 shows as part of the upcoming mini-tour that Williams described as “a big party.” Guitarist Taylor York added that he was confident in how the newly configured group will fare on the road. “I don’t think we’re going to skip a beat, if anything we’ll be better,” York said. Williams also revealed that South American fans would get to experience the kind of show they’ve staged elsewhere around the globe. “It’s very similar to the Honda Civic Tour, which we …did in America, [and] we took it to Australia and England,” she explained. “So we’re just kind of giving them what they haven’t seen yet.” The tour, which follows the release of their platinum-selling Brand New Eyes album, will also mark “longest set we’ve ever put together,” according to Williams.
