Lady Gaga Feels She’s Been ‘Probed Endlessly’ About Who She Is

‘Judas’ singer goes on curse-filled rant in new issue of NME. By Jocelyn Vena Lady Gaga Photo: Kevin Mazur/WireImage Lady Gaga is on the defense these days. Fans aren’t sure how they feel about her Born This Way cover art , and in the new issue of British music magazine NME , the singer felt the need to let the world know that she’s not some gimmick and her shtick is the real deal, protruding face bones and all. “Let me tell you something. If you f—ing rip my hairbow and my wig off my f—ing head, my shoes, my bra, every single thing on my body, and you throw me on a piano with a microphone, I will f—ing make you cry,” she proclaims in the magazine, which hits newsstands on Tuesday (April 19). On the cover , Gaga appears in a see-through body suit, with zippers over her lady parts, wearing heavy eye makeup, her now signature “BTW” prosthetics and a wig she wore in the “BTW” video. “I feel I have been probed endlessly about who the f— I am,” she continues. “I have been quite open about it. And still nobody seems to have a clue.” Gaga recently unveiled her second single, ” Judas ,” off her May 23 album release. Parts of the song may pay homage to some of her past hits, but it is certainly not the type of pop song that Katy Perry or Britney Spears would record. “I’m not going to start churning out what you expect,” she said. “If you want me to be a manufactured act, you can f— off.” The star also defended her prosthetics recently in Harper’s Bazaar . “Well, first of all, they’re not prosthetics. They’re my bones,” she said in the issue. “They’ve always been inside of me, but I have been waiting for the right time to reveal to the universe who I truly am. They come out when I’m inspired.” She mirrored that sentiment on her Twitter page on Tuesday, writing, ” Born This Way is who I am. An artist in a constant state of half-fantasy/half-reality at all times.” Related Photos The Evolution Of: Lady Gaga Related Artists Lady Gaga

Daniel Radcliffe Talks Avoiding Being Just A ‘Child Star’

‘Harry Potter’ star says he wants make sure that he’s not condemned ‘to the been-and-gone pile.’ By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Daniel Radcliffe Photo: MTV News “The next 12 months are going to be quite telling,” Daniel Radcliffe told us recently, as he faces the end of the “Harry Potter” franchise and attempts to refashion his career, putting the boy wizard who made him a star firmly behind him. The 21-year-old Brit has just kicked off his Broadway musical career with the lead in “How to Succeed in Business without Really Trying,” a show that will keep him Stateside into next year. He’ll be saying goodbye to “Potter” in July, when the second and final part of “The Deathly Hallows” hits theaters, and is looking forward to promoting his starring role in the supernatural thriller “The Woman in Black,” which is scheduled for an early-2012 release. Put together, he’s got quite a busy year ahead of him, at the end of which, Radcliffe himself admits, he’ll be able to tell if he’s successfully broken away from “Potter” territory. Moving past the magical wunderkind is something he wanted to accomplish early and definitively. “If I had been taking some time off and not doing stuff, I think the temptation in terms of the media and the public, to a certain extent, is [that] if you don’t hear from a child star for a while, you can kind of condemn them to the been-and-gone pile,” he explained. “I wanted to make sure that didn’t happen.” His seemed to come to a similar conclusion in March, when she announced her attention to take a break from Brown University and focus again on her acting career. “As you know, I love Brown and I love studying pretty much more than anything but recently I’ve had so much to juggle that being a student AND fulfilling my other commitments has become a little impossible,” she wrote on her website, adding that she wanted to “focus on my other professional and acting projects.” Those other projects, like Radcliffe’s, have been far different than “Potter” — a conscious decision both of them have made in order to grow artistically. “I wanted to make sure people knew that I wanted to work and I didn’t necessarily want to take the easy option of immediately signing up to another huge tent-pole fantasy series,” Radcliffe said. “For me, I get very, very bored unless I’m doing something that challenges me and makes me jump through a few hoops.” Are you excited to see what direction Radcliffe’s post-“Harry Potter” career takes? Harry Potter’s Gellert Grindelwald and Ginny Weasley Get Engaged

Adorable Harry Potter costars Jamie Campbell Bower and Bonnie Wright — who were born in 1988 and 1991, respectively — are engaged . That’s cute and unsettling. Children! They’re children! How many Toys R Us Geoffrey dollars will this cost them? Will they take their learner’s permits to town hall? Should they dance to their grandparents’ wedding song, Shaggy’s “It Wasn’t Me” (featuring Rik Rok)? I’m confounded! Congrats, though! [ GossipCop ]

‘Harry Potter’ Documentary In The Works, Producers Reveal

David Heyman and David Baron tell MTV News that Morgan Matthews shot behind the scenes on ‘Deathly Hallows’ set. By Eric Ditzian, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Bonnie Wright and Daniel Radcliffe in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1” Photo: Warner Bros. Fear not, “Potter” fans! Though the film franchise comes to a close in July with the release of “Deathly Hallows, Part 2,” there will be plenty more opportunities to revisit the work of Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and their cohorts. Producers David Heyman and David Baron revealed to MTV News that Morgan Matthews, an award-winning British filmmaker, shot a documentary on the set of “Deathly Hallows” that will be coming out after the final installment of the franchise itself. “He went behind the scenes and had incredible access to talent and crew and has made a documentary that is not yet complete, which shows the challenges of making the film — the tolls it takes on actors and crew,” Baron said. “It’s not just pure gloss and everybody’s happy. It’s real. … At the same time, it’s really, really funny.” Baron went on to describe one such scene in the unfinished doc. “Morgan comes in to interview Dan in his dressing room, and Dan says, ‘Will you wait one second? I want to watch the 2:50 at Doncaster,’ which is a horse race. He says, ‘Yeah, I bet on it.’ ‘How much?’ ‘Ten quid.’ And the horse, of course, comes in way behind the pack.” In addition to the documentary, Heyman and Baron said fans can also expect, down the line, to check out behind-the-scenes footage stretching back to 2001’s “Sorcerer’s Stone.” “It was a very well-documented production. We had a crew filming behind the scenes for the entire production, which is unheard of — and that’s been for all the films,” Baron explained. “There is material, and we’ll see how it’s used. I’m sure Warner Bros. will package it in some form or another.” Check out everything we’ve got on “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com .
