Kendra Wilkinson: Of Course My 4-Year Old Daughter Can Pose in Playboy!

Kendra Wilkinson takes pride in being a hands-off mother. Which is why the former Playmate says she’d have no problem at all with her daughter one day taking her clothes off for Playboy. The mother of a seven-year old boy named Hank and a four-year old girl named Alijah, Kendra was asked by Entertainment Tonight whether she’d be okay with the latter posing on the cover of the men’s magazine that made her famous. And here’s how Wilkinson replied : “I won’t sit here and say that I would like that, but if she made a healthy decision and a healthy choice with a healthy mind to want to pose for Playboy…. “We are a free home, we are a free spirit. “If that’s your way of wanting to express yourself and who you are, then go ahead and be exactly who you want to be.” Wilkinson went on to explain that she’s always going to support her kids at all, no matter what they choose to do with their lives. “I’m not a person to hold my kids back,” she told the outlet, elaborating as follows: “If they need to get whatever they need out of it, then go. I’m here to love them and support them and guide them as best as I can, but I’m not going to put any limits to their lives. “And if that’s the way they’re going to be happy and express who they are, then they can do whatever they want. “I’m not here to stop their lives or interfere.” Heck, Kendra doesn’t comprehend why parents EVER tell children what to do or how to act. “Why are we putting rules on everyone? It doesn’t even make sense,” she says, wondering: “For who? What are the rules for? For society? What the hell? To impress other people? Where do we live?” Slow your roll there, K Dubs. This is one of those quotes that sounds great in theory, but is utter nonsense in practice. Why do we put rules on kids? Gee, we don’t know… for their health? Their safety? Their well-being? Because sometimes young people don’t know what’s best for them and it’s up to a more educated and experienced person to arrive at some important life decisions? We’d be more willing to take family advice from Kendra if she actually had a solid relationship with members of her own family. But the entire new season of Kendra on Top will focus on Wilkinson’s effed up relationship with her mother . And Kendra’s husband has admitted to getting a hand job from a transgender model back in the day. So it’s possible that she may not be the best authority for managing relationships between spouses or parents or children. This is not to say that someone who strips down for a magazine is automatically a bad person or doomed to fail in life or anything of that nature. To some extent, we agree with Kendra that it’s helpful to give kids a long rope and to support their choices. But there’s a middle ground between ensuring your kids are self-confident and self-assured… and just letting them run around all free and crazy and aimless. We do also agree with Kendra when it comes to trolls and haters. Many people out there judge her family a lot harsher than we just did above, and here’s what she told ET about those individuals: “That’s their problem. Honestly, we’re doing just fine. We’re a happy family. We don’t care about that stuff. “We’re doing what we’re doing. That gets into bullying and I’m not teaching my kids to give into bullying like that. If you stop what you’re doing because someone says something mean, then come on. “Then you’re the one who loses. You’ve gotta rise up and you’ve gotta stay in the game.”

Jeremy Vuolo SLAMMED for Calling Catholicism a Demonic, Pagan Religion!

A lot of people love the Duggars because of how strongly they value their religion, and how deeply they believe in it. But a lot of other people wish they would cool their jets about certain issues. For example, as we’ve seen in recent months, it’s always a big issue when one of the Duggar women dares to wear something other than a long, plain skirt. From what we’ve heard, Jinger wearing pants is about to damn near tear the family apart. There’s also the thing about having baby after baby after baby, regardless of the health of the woman popping out all those kids. Because the Lord isn’t down with contraception. And then there’s the unwavering forgiveness for Josh Duggar , who molested four of his sisters … The point is that the Duggars have many extreme views, and that they make a lot of people uncomfortable. And a sermon delivered by Jeremy Vuolo, Jinger’s brand new husband , is following in that same tradition. See, Jeremy as a pastor at a church in Laredo, Texas. And apparently a lot of Catholics live in Laredo. For him, that is not OK. In a recent sermon he preached at the church, he decided to offer up his stance on Catholicism, which he referred to as “demonic.” Yeah, he doesn’t seem to be too fond of the whole thing. “I just want to say this, kind of as an aside for us here in Laredo,” he said. “There are spiritual strongholds in our world today, aren’t there?” “Just as Paul and Silas encountered the demonic in Phillippi, so we encounter that here in Laredo. In this city we have the pagan religion of Catholicism gripping the souls of the majority.” Catholicism is a pagan religion? We thought it was a Christian religion, but OK, Jeremy. It really seems like he doesn’t see Catholicism as a different denomination of Christianity, but as a different religion altogether — he suggested this in another part of his sermon. “When the question comes, ‘What must I do to be saved?’, Catholicism tells you to clean up your life and adequately perform the sacramental duties,” he said.” For Islam, he said “the only way for you to be certain of paradise is if you die in jihad,” and “for those who claim to be Jews but are not” (???), the key is to follow the Torah and “just do your best.” However, “the message of the Christian is that of grace” — just not if you’re a Catholic Christian, it seems. His views fit in with the rest of the Duggars pretty well: remember, Jill and Derick Dillard are missionaries in El Salvador , which is 85% Christian, just with a Catholic majority. But still, Jeremy is getting a whole, whole lot of hate for the statements he made in his sermon. “What is with the pagan religion of Catholicism?” one person asked on Twitter. “Do we believe a reality show whore, or a 2k year church founded by an apostle?” “You should be ashamed for disrespect you show for Catholics,” another wrote. “Pagan? Please you and your church are spewing this hate. God is Judge, not you.” One person pointed out that “Referring to Catholicsm as ‘pagan’ not only insults Catholics, but Pagans. Study both before making such off-base comments.” A particularly upset Twitter user wrote “AS A PROUD CATHOLIC I AM DISTURBED BY THIS. BE ASHAMED! NOT CHRISTIAN OF YOU AT ALL! BLASPHEMY!” Even though Jeremy is getting this much criticism, we highly doubt he’ll change his opinion or consider these other points of view. That’s just not the Duggar way. Farrah Abraham: Forget Ryan Edwards, Maci Bookout is an Alcoholic!

Farrah Abraham doesn’t exactly get along with the other girls on Teen Mom OG. But then again, if you have eyes and ears and have found yourself on parts of the internet that discuss Farrah Abraham, you already know this. She and Amber Portwood used to be friends, but they became enemies after Farrah dared to point out that Matt Baier is a giant, good-for-nothing creep. Amber didn’t appreciate it, and she even tried to throw a swing at Farrah over it. She and Catelynn Lowell haven’t been getting along either, and Catelynn takes every possible opportunity to slam her somehow . But, if you can believe it, the feud between Farrah and Maci Bookout predates all of these spats. Remember, when Teen Mom first returned to our televisions, Farrah wasn’t involved. When producers brought her back mid-season, Maci threatened to quit the show. The issue, she said, was that she didn’t want her son to share screen time with a porn star — which, hey, that’s her prerogative. Though Maci eventually gave in, she and Farrah have been catty towards each other ever since. To this day, really. During one of her many birthday parties, Farrah was approached by In Touch, and she was asked about Ryan Edwards’ newly revealed drug issues . Specifically, she was asked about the Teen Mom OG scene in which Maci tearfully revealed to Amber and Catelynn that Ryan’s drug use had gotten out of hand. “Everyone else around him is too afraid of what it will look like more than his health,” Maci explained on the show. “I’m just sick of cleaning up his mess . I get tired of dealing with the sh-t. Just being the only one that f-cking sees everything and cares.” It was a sad scene, one of the most intense things we’ve seen on the show in a while. But Farrah didn’t see things that way. “Who is she to talk about someone else’s substance abuse when she’s like an alcoholic?” she wondered . Shots fired. There are many Teen Mom OG fans who suspect that Maci may have a drinking problem — she’s often seen with a beer in her hand in her scenes. There was also a widespread theory that she was drinking throughout much of her pregnancy with her third child, Maverick. The “Maci is an alcoholic” went on for so long that she even confronted the rumors in her new book. “Folks I am an adult, over the legal drinking age, and just because I’m a mom that doesn’t mean I can’t enjoy a beer on a Sunday evening with my husband,” she wrote in one section. “Newsflash: Mothers Are Human Beings. We are flawed, hard-working, well-intentioned, exhausted individuals; we do our best, we make mistakes, but above all we love our children.” She wrote that “obviously I don’t condone excessive drinking,” but “having a beer — or even smoking the occasional cigarette — does not warrant a call to Child Services, and it does not make you a bad mother.” So if she even bothers to respond to Farrah, it looks like we’ll be in for a fun new chapter in the never-ending saga of Farrah vs. The World. Ryan Edwards: Teen Mom OG Star Checks into Rehab!

For the past year, at least, Ryan Edwards has been … well, he’s not been right. He hasn’t been acting like that sassy jackass we knew from the early days of Teen Mom, and honestly, he’s looked high as a kite in recent seasons of the show. And that’s because, as it turns out, he was high as a kits. In one episode last month, Maci Bookout was seen reacting strongly to a text she’d received about Ryan, explaining that “I got some information about Ryan and certain things he’s doing and stuff that aren’t very good at all.” She didn’t want to go into details, but she did say that it was “really scary stuff,” and that she had to get his parents on board to get him “healthy and happy and back to normal.” Then, in last Monday’s episode, the subject of Ryan came up again while the moms were on vacation in Puerto Rico. Amber Portwood told Maci that she could tell that he’s been “f-cked up” lately just by looking at him, and Maci didn’t argue. Catelynn Lowell asked her if he’d consider going to a treatment center, and she said that he would, but everyone else in his life has been in denial about his issue. Through tears, she told them “What I’m saying is that everyone else around him is too afraid of what it will look like more than his health … it’s all denial.” “They all know.” Later, she told her husband, Taylor McKinney, that she was just going to tell Ryan that he needed to go to rehab. “Right now is legitimately about saving his life,” she said. “Most nights I’m crying in our bed talking to you about whether or not today is the day that he’s going to die or when I’m going to do something about it or how I should do something about it.” Well, hopefully Maci can be done worrying about it all now. Because Ryan is finally in rehab! E! News reported that “multiple sources” have confirmed that he’s getting help for his issues, and that he’s been in rehab for two weeks now. He’s said to be “doing well,” but there’s no further information at this time. There’s also no word on exactly what substance he’s been struggling with. Trista Sutter: Bachelorette Star Suffers Near-Fatal Seizure!

From what we’ve heard of Trista Sutter, she’s had a pretty great life so far. After all, she will forever be known as the very first Bachelorette, and how could anything else top that prestige? Trista’s also one of the few people to appear on The Bachelorette or The Bachelor who’s been able to find lasting love : she’s been married to Ryan Sutter since 2003 and they have two children together. But unfortunately, despite all these good things, things took a dark turn earlier this week. Trista is currently on a European vacation with her family, and yesterday she shared a shocking photo of herself in a hospital bed. In a lengthy Instagram post, she explained “This was me yesterday … two hours after I had a seizure.” “… two hours after I fell on my daughter’s chest & she watched, along with her brother & grandparents, in confusion & horror as her mommy stared blankly off into the distance and started turning blue.” “… two hours after we were supposed to have an adventure. An adventure to one of the most beautiful National Parks in Europe.” Sounds pretty dramatic and horrifying, right? It only gets worse. “Instead,” Trista continued, “I ended up in a euphoric white dream that the voices of my husband and daughter pulled me from and I ended up in a Croatian hospital being poked and prodded and wondering ‘why me?'” In an inspirational turn, she added “But today, I had to ask, ‘why not me?’ I’m human. I have an expiration date.” “I’ve always envisioned that date being sometime after my kids have graduated college, met the loves of their lives and created families of their own …” “But I was reminded yesterday that it could come anytime, in any country, whether I’m surrounded by strangers or people I love, or neither, or both.” “I’ve never been perfect and I never will be,” Trista wrote, “but from here on out, I vow to try my best to live this life to the fullest.” “To embrace gratitude and the lessons I wrote about over 3 years ago with a newly acquired perspective.” “To stress less. To love more. To listen. Be kind. Spread joy. To be a better version of myself as a wife, mother, sister, cousin, niece, aunt, neighbor, daughter, and friend.” She took time to thank her loved ones, her fans, and, of course, #BachelorNation. She also thanked the strangers around her when she had her seizure, the ones she said “held my hand, wiped my tears, and hugged my kids. Finally, she thanked her family, especially Ryan. “Without you,” she said, “I don’t know that I would be here today. You are my everything and I love you forevermore.” In closing, she urged anyone who read her message to “be thankful for your life and and blessings. Lena Dunham Reveals Hospitalization, Speaks Out on Trump Care

Here’s something that won’t surprise you: Like the majority of the civilized world, Lena Dunham is no fan of the odious GOP-backed legislation commonly referred to as “Trump Care.” Here’s something that probably will surprise you: During Monday night’s 2017 Met Gala , Dunham was rushed to the hospital shortly after walking the red carpet. Dunham suffers from endometriosis, a chronic illness affecting the female reproductive system that often results in chronic pelvic pain and infertility. The actress and writer underwent a fifth surgical procedure in April with the goal of alleviating her symptoms for good, but apparently she experienced complications the night of the gala. Yesterday, Dunham shared a photo from her hospital bed in which her custom Elizabeth Kennedy dress can be seen in the background. She posted the pic alongside some thoughts about healthcare in America: “Thank you for all the love & concern that’s been pouring in since Tuesday. Although I’m much healthier than I was a year ago, complications arose from my most recent endometriosis surgery,” Lena wrote on Instagram. “When the healthcare of so many American women, especially our trans sisters, is at-risk- or already nonexistent- I am lucky to be in the position to seek help when I’m in pain.” She added: ‘To those in that privileged spot- never forget that we are blessed and can pay it forward by supporting Planned Parenthood and LGBTQ clinics like Callen-Lorde with our [money] and [time]. Dunham went on to offer words of encouragement to other women who are suffering from chronic illnesses: “I also want to remind all the women suffering from chronic illness that we aren’t weak- quite the opposite, actually. We do our jobs with skill even when we’re struggling.  “We care families even when we can hardly care for ourselves. We serve major face on a red carpet when we feel like lying face down would be more appropriate.” Dunham went on to address recent the recent controversies at Fox News , pointing out that on-air personality Diana Falzone recently sued the network for allegedly discriminating against her as a result of her endometriosis diagnosis: “Just that morning @dianafalzone sued Fox after they took her off air for disclosing her endometriosis,” Dunham wrote. “But they’re the ones who lost when they fired her, because everyone who’s anyone knows that if you can battle chronic illness there’s nothing you can’t take on.” Powerful words from a powerful woman. Shea Moisture Apologizes for Controversial Ad: We Really F–ked This One Up!

Shea Moisture isn’t often confused with PepsiCo. But, like the soda giant just a few weeks ago , the beauty brand has been forced to issue an apology in the face of mounting criticism over an ad its long-time customer base finds very distasteful. First, let’s take a look at the commercial in question: Shea Moisture Ad As you can see, the spot opens with an African-American woman who says she was mocked throughout the years for her natural curls. The video then transitions to a blonde woman who explains that she didn’t “know what to do” with her hair, followed by a redheaded woman complaining about dyeing her locks. The overall message here is for people to “break free from hair hate.” Unlike that horrid Kendall Jenner ad , It may be difficult to understand the controversy behind this commercial at first. A bit of background helps: The company was founded by Richelieu Dennis, who came to the United States from Liberia and who has always focused on women of color. As a result, those who have used and followed Shea Moisture for years believe this spot is an example of the company turning its back on its roots in the black community. Critics think the above commercial is an affront Shea’s core customer. Others don’t fault Shea for certain aspects of the ad, but believe the company wasn’t really seeing the big picture: “Seeing Shea Moisture make a campaign trying to expand their brand to white people by getting rid of their target audience is upsetting,” wrote another user. And these critiques didn’t fall on deaf ears. In an usual move, not only did the company yank this commercial… it issued a detailed, honest, sort of hilarious mea culpa in response. “Wow, okay – so guys, listen, we really f–ked this one up,” Shea wrote on Facebook, adding at length: “Please know that our intention was not – and would never be – to disrespect our community, and as such, we are pulling this piece immediately because it does not represent what we intended to communicate. “You guys know that we have always stood for inclusion in beauty and have always fought for our community and given them credit for not just building our business but for shifting the beauty landscape.” The statement concluded: While this campaign included several different videos showing different ethnicities and hair types to demonstrate the breadth of each individual’s hair journey, we must absolutely ensure moving forward that our community is well-represented in each one so that the women who have led this movement never feel that their hair journey is minimized in any way. Thank you all, as always, for the honest and candid feedback. We hear you. We’re listening. We appreciate you. We count on you. And we’re always here for you. Thank you, #SheaFam, for being there for us, even when we make mistakes. Here’s to growing and building together… Pretty good response, right? Demi Lovato Shills For Weight Loss Tea as Self Love, Fans Go Ham

Demi Lovato has become a body-positivity “champion” in recent years, and for good reason. The 24-year-old is a strong role model. Since announcing her struggles with eating disorders and mental health issues, she’s been renowned for her candor and message. So what’s the issue? Lovato is a spokeswoman for the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA), and as a noted ED survivor herself, she fits the bill. Fans were shocked, however, after the singer posted a photo promoting “detox tea” and a vexing message on her vaunted Instagram. “This year is all about #selflove truly taking care of myself and exercising has changed everything for me,” she captioned the picture. “@teamiblends has #sponsored my 30 day detox challenge to help get rid of toxins and my bloating for summer,” adds Demi. “I’m on Day 7 right now and it’s so easy!” “I just drink their tea every single day in my favorite purple tumbler. I love taking it to shoots and the studio with me.” “If you are ready to be your best YOU this summer, use my Code: DEMI for 20% off your detox program when you check out!” “I want all of you to do the challenge!” The issue, if it wasn’t abundantly clear, is that “detox teas” are 1. fairly unhealthy and 2. usually touted as weight-loss products. In fairness, Lovato didn’t outright promote the tea for weight loss purposes, but the implication is such that fans were unhappy. Many believe that even such teas can be triggers for people with eating disorders, as they are often misused as laxatives or purgers. Moreover, the health community is divided on such drinks in general as it is believed that they can cause a myriad of problems. Needless to say, Lovato was quickly taken to task for irresponsible promotion by many of her 57 million Instagram followers. “How has detox tea something to do with self love and eating disorerrecovery?” @heidirecovering wrote in the comments.  “Self love is about accepting oneself, not detoxing. I used to look up to you, but this is the lowest point ever.” Fans called her out for pushing such a thing on people who view her as a role model thanks to her own struggles with bulimia. @thebalanced.babe wrote, “I love you Demi, but please.” “Ask yourself why would you advertise something so damaging to people struggling with EDs, disordered eating, and more.” “Impressionable young people to look up to you.” Others were less harsh, but still un-enthralled. “Please take this post down Demi, a laxative will NOT make me the best me,” urged another Lovatic, @selenamyqueef. The guise of “self-love” was what really left her army of followers steamed, and @chooselifewarrior, for one, took her to TASK on Snapchat: Look, obviously Demi is a very well-meaning girl. She’s built up a lot of credibility at this point, being open and honest about her body image issues and self-esteem struggles for years. Those Demi Lovato swimsuit pics she’s been flaunting lately are jaw-dropping, as is the incredible confidence level she’s shown. There isn’t anything wrong with wanting to change one’s body, or sharing your experiences with others who follow you on social media. Using questionable products to do so, however? Especially products potentially harmful for people with eating disorders – many of whom look up to Demi for exactly that reason? This is a hilarious altercation – with a fat uber driver worried about the health of his client, because he was clearly trying to relate to her because he has probably been told to lose weight – and sees he’s the size of her arm – so how could something fit in a car, exist and will his suspension handle it – he can’t afford the repair making the ride in UBER BLACK not pay for itself, a ride she pays extra for so she fits in the damn car and doesn’t get stuck trying to get into a Corrolla or some shit that isn’t as XL as her. SHE Is a Monster… “my Chloesterol is fine, i’m perfect” – is the biggest lolz to me, because she’s a fucking monster. She’s so fat…yet she claims she’s healthy. Does she actually believe that she’s healthy or that she’s perfect, there is no way this is healthy, there is no way she’s not going to die prematurely, there is no way that she likes being this fat…. Sure, she can claim to have a “fat wallet” to go with her fat everything else….which is a subjective statement, because if fat chick brands throw fat chick money at fat chicks, who would otherwise live in an artist loft, walls wouldn’t get in the way of her sheer and utter size….working at a coffee shop – angry and edgy for 10 dollars an hour…. Hey @uber I don't pay more to use your “black car” service to be told that there's no way I could possibly be healthy because I'm fat & then questioning it.
