By James Montgomery Lady Gaga Photo: Jag Gundu/ Getty Images It’s being billed as “the biggest live music event in radio history” (whatever that means), and so, the organizers of the brand-new I Heart Radio festival have pulled out all the stops, delivering a lineup that’s appropriately loaded with some of the biggest stars in the business. Lady Gaga , Coldplay , Nicki Minaj , the Black Eyed Peas , Alicia Keys , Carrie Underwood and Steven Tyler are just some of the acts set to appear at the inaugural I Heart Radio fest, scheduled for September 23 and 24 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. They’ll be joined on the bill by the likes of Kenny Chesney, Jennifer Lopez , David Guetta, Rascal Flatts, Kelly Clarkson and John Mayer (to name just a few). Organizers promise that even more artists will be added to the bill as the summer stretches on. The eternally busy Ryan Seacrest will host the event, which will stream live online and via mobile devices at IHeartRadio.com, and across the websites of all Clear Channel-owned radio stations. If you’d prefer to be there in person, you can get a first crack at tickets by liking I Heart Radio on Facebook . The pre-sale ends at 1 a.m. ET this Saturday, with tickets going on sale to the general public later that same day (at 1 p.m. ET) through Ticketmaster.com . Pioneering Hip-Hop personality Fab 5 Freddy is currently a featured artist in MOCA’s “Art in The Streets.” A long-time graffiti artist, the founding host of “Yo! MTV Raps” has his first solo exhibit on display at Gallery 151 in Manhattan’s Lower Eastside. The pieces are a fusion of graffiti and Warhol-influenced painting that embody Fab 5 Freddy’s various experiences. “I’m remixing forms and shapes from my past and kind of turning it into something new,” he told WPIX in New York. In the case of St. Louis, Missouri, rapper Stevie Stone , signing with Tech N9ne ‘s Strange Music label was well in the works before the up-and-coming rapper signed his name on the dotted line. After opening for Tech with a 10-minute set in a Fulton, Missouri, show as a high school student in 2000, Stone knew that he wanted to pursue music full-time. “That 10 minutes gave me the bug,” Stevie told Mixtape Daily at a recent Independence, Missouri, album signing event for Tech’s All 6’s and 7’s. Through the years the young MC kept in close contact, doing shows with Tech even though he signed his initial deal with Ruthless Records, the label co-founded by the late Eazy-E. In 2009 Stone dropped his debut album, New Kid Comin. Tech appeared on the LP on a song called “Midwest Explosion.” “A lot of his fans — Technicians, Juggalos — all of them adapted to it,” Stone said of the song. “My name started buzzing around here, especially in the Midwest on the underground scene.” Though he and Tech had formed a bond, Stevie was contractually obligated to Ruthless and couldn’t sign to Strange. Still, he joined Tecca Nina on his K.O.D. tour in 2009, his Ruthless contract expired the next year and he ended up officially signing with Strange in March. Stone is currently on Tech’s 82-city All 6’s and 7’s tour as an opening act. In between shows, the new addition is prepping his Strange Music debut, Rolling Stone, for an early 2012 release. “It was a move that was in my heart. I knew it was the move to make, and I guess they felt the same way. And when the time presented itself, we inked,” said Stevie, holding up his Strange Music chain with pride. Justin Bieber is truly an amazing human being, he is my inspiration and I will love him until my heart stops beating, wait I joke, even till after that. First of all, my name is Marisa. So anyway, it was the 21 st of April 2011, the day Justin Bieber was performing live here in my country. I couldn’t believe it, I was running back and forth when I woke up in the morning. I had to be at the stadium before 4pm for the meet and greets, so I went about 3.30 and hell, it was packed. At 4, I got my passes to meet Justin. I was holding it tight and my legs wouldn’t stop shaking. After a while, it was time, I went in with my friend, Clara who’s also an admin of Justin Bieber Malaysia and we were walking backstage in the rain and everyone was soaking wet. The worst thing was I had to pee real bad, I guess it was because I was nervous. As we walked backstage, we passed a room that said ‘MEET AND GREET’, my heart totally felt like jumping out. We all went into the room opposite the meet and greet to hear the rules and stuff then group 1 was good to go. I was in group 2 with Clara and I was going to meet my inspiration, I’ve love for 3 years now then I started tearing up and a few beliebers gave me hugs, they were such sweethearts. All a sudden we heard someone say “GROUP 2, YOU’RE UP” HOLY CRAP BATMAN. I was first to go in and from the outside I saw him, he was like punching and kicking around like in the gif he gave us all but anyway, I couldn’t believe my eyes. I was already tearing up and then as I walked in, I heard “No, don’t cry! You’re already wet.” Justin Bieber was talking to me, ME, Marisa Soraya. I couldn’t believe my life. I replied “Obviously, if you say that i am going to cry .” And he said “Awwwww” then he kissed my cheek,JUSTIN BIEBER KISSED MY LEFT CHEEK. The photographer took my picture and I went out crying next to Clara then we went our separate ways because we got different tickets. I was walking out to the VVIP section, crying as hell and all the guards that passed me thought I fell or broke a bone or something. I got into the VVIP line. The concert started at 8.30 and it was one of the best experience ever. After the concert, I went back to his hotel and he tweeted “off to shower then team dinner.” And there was only one famous restaurant there. So I went up to where it was and the next thing I know, I saw everyone. Dan, Scooter, Pattie, Alfredo, Justin, Selena, Mike, Legaci, Nick, EVERYONE but they were having dinner and I didn’t want to bother them . I took some pictures then left. It was really nice to actually see all of them with my own eyes. This was the best bieber experience ever. Hopefully there will be more to come. I love you, Justin.
