Are Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes on the verge of breaking up? After two years together, they have hit the skids, and it’s all because she’s jealous. Well, it’s mostly because of that. According to a source close to them: “He can be moody at times, and she’s insecure … [Eva Mendes] sees a text from a mystery number and automatically assumes he’s talking to other girls.” An insider reveals that the duo broke up briefly six months ago. They patched things up, but the relationship has remained rocky ever since, as the actress, 39, no longer gushes about the heart throb, 32, like she used to. Now, “she shuts down anyone who brings up Ryan,” says a friend. “It’s clear something is wrong.” You know what’s so wrong it’s right? The new app that turns any image online into a Ryan Gosling photos . Hey, Girl . Let’s not tell Eva about that … Though a rep for Mendes denies any trouble in paradise, the Gosling source believes the end is near: “I wouldn’t be surprised if they split for good soon.” So ladies … there may soon be a chance. Fingers crossed.

Casey Anthony Motion to Dismiss Case: Denied!

After the prosecution rested in the Casey Anthony trial, the judge denied the defense’s motion for acquittal on the Florida woman’s murder charge. Judge Belvin Perry said the state presented “substantial, competent evidence” that Anthony’s daughter Caylee was slain and she was responsible. The defense now must proceed with its case on Thursday. Anthony faces three charges, including first-degree premeditated murder. She had no reaction in the Orlando court when the motion was denied. Her attorney, Cheney Mason, had argued that prosecutors failed to present evidence that a murder had even occurred, premeditated or otherwise. “There has been no evidence of premeditation,” the lawyer said . “There has been a stacking of inferences. A stacking of speculation. No evidence.” “There is no evidence to suggest when she died, where she died, how she died, who if anyone was in attendance with her when she died.” The state, he added, established only that “the child is dead.” In denying the motion to toss the case, the judge begged to differ and concluded there is compelling evidence Caylee Anthony was murdered . Her mother, while innocent until proven guilty, is on trial for a reason. Assistant State Attorney Linda Drane Burdick argues that Caylee Anthony died as a result of “three pieces of duct tape applied to her nose and mouth, as a result of poisoning by chloroform [and] as a result of a combination of the two.” Gruesome stuff to say the least.

The Bachelorette star Ashley Hebert is happily engaged, according to new reports. Who’s the lucky guy? That you’ll have to wait ’til August 1 to find out … or read The Bachelorette spoilers we’ve posted that have been 100 percent true so far . In any case, it’s good to hear the happy news, seeing as Ashley Hebert nearly lost hope after Bentley Williams stabbed her in the heart. Figuratively that is. This week’s Life & Style cover story says that Ashley did shake off Bentley’s betrayal eventually, and is engaged to the man she gave her final rose to. On a secluded Fiji island May 13, the last remaining hopeful got down on one knee and proposed with a stunning diamond ring (Neil Lane, obvi). “Ashley’s elated,” an insider reveals to the celebrity gossip publication. “She’s engaged to the winner and is now wearing her engagement ring.” “I’m happy with the way things turned out for me,” Ashley says. This is no Brad-Emily situation, either. Weeks after filming has wrapped, “she’s definitely still in the relationship,” confirms a Bachelorette insider. “She says she’s really happy.” while the couple must keep their relationship under wraps until the Bachelorette finale, the lucky winner can’t stop gushing about Ashley, either! “He said, ‘I’m in such a great place in my life, and I’m the happiest I’ve ever been,'” a show insider says. “He’s the sweetest guy, and he’s very sensitive. He had his heart broken in the past, but he loves being in a relationship.” “He and Ashley have such great chemistry. SMH: Justin Timberlake Texting Olivia Munn Saying His Relationship With Jessica “Nice Cakes” Biel Is Over

Looks like little Justin Timberfake is getting his “Dirty Dog” on: Justin Timberlake is up to some old tricks in the New Year. Though he denied reports last fall that he cheated on longtime girlfriend Jessica Biel, 28, with actress Olivia Munn, Life & Style has learned he’s still reaching out to Olivia. Over New Year’s weekend, an insider reveals, the Perfect Couples star, 30, was showing her phone to a few friends. “She had several new text messages from Justin on it,” the insider says. “They’d all been sent very recently, the last few weeks of December.” And they were hardly innocent. “One said, ‘My relationship is basically over,’ ” says the insider to Life & Style. “The other said, ‘I’m thinking about you.’ There was part of a third that said something like, ‘You don’t understand how hard it is.’ I didn’t see that entire text, so I’m not sure how that sentence ended.” A rep for Justin, 29, declined to comment. Olivia, says the insider, is texting back — yet keeping her distance. “She’s super flattered,” says the insider, “but she’s not stupid. She’s not expecting it to go anywhere — but she’d love it if it did!” Getting caught up via text…how dumb can he be??? SMH. Source
