The Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth engagement. It’s become more of a mystery than the continued success of Two and a Half Men. Are they together? Are they broken up? Will a wedding ever take place? In the latest chapter of this saga, Cyrus has posted a new photo to Twitter in which she’s wearing the 3.5 carat Neil Lane ring presented to her by The Hunger Games star, including with it a gold necklace, black sunglasses and a simple caption: #gorg. Is this a message from Cyrus to her fans that all is okay with Hemsworth? In a revealing interview with V this month, she attempted to quiet all split rumors by simply saying she and Liam are too busy to walk around together and go to Starbucks every morning. But those words didn’t seem to take. Perhaps this picture will therefore do the trick.

Not only do his friends want him to dump Miley, but his parents “thought they were too young to get married anyway. [His parents] are very normal and not showbiz at all.” A source [also] told Us Weekly that “Liam’s friends suggested he end things.” On the flipside, there’s also word on the street that Miley and her boo-thang are doing just fine and are still getting ready to dougie take that trip down the aisle together. Hopefully for Miley, the latter is true. A lil twerk never hurt anybody.

The video shows Cyrus in a unicorn “onesie,” poppin’ her booty to the beat of J Dash and Flo Rida’s “WOP.” “I had a photo shoot earlier that day and so I didn’t really want to get dressed, so I wore the unicorn onesie and my friend was like, ‘Everyone is gone, we have the backdrop and the lighting.’ So I started dancing and said, ‘Here’s my phone will you record it real quick.’” Liam Hemsworth’s alleged bride-to-be (she is wearing her engagement ring again) joked this is the first thing people aren’t hating on her for recently. “If I could walk out — I could sing, like, at the Grammys and I will always be bashed and always have haters. Get used to it, celebrity gossip followers: the new Miley Cyrus’ haircut is not going anywhere. “You will never see me with long hair again!” Cyrus exclaimed this week to E! News. “My fiancé [ Liam Hemsworth ] loves it… It’s so easy and [I] don’t need to wash it. It looks better grungy.” Miley adds that she “hated” her old hair extensions and felt like she was wearing “a bun everyday” of her life. That’s never fun, right, ladies? But enough about her look. What about her sound?!? A new Miley Cyrus album is reportedly due out by the end of 2013. And while Cyrus wouldn’t reveal any details behind it, she did tease: “[My fans] are dying for new music. So, I’m excited to push play and have the world hear it!”
U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton choked up today while testifying before Congress about the attack that left four Americans dead in Benghazi, Libya. Hillary Clinton Benghazi Testimony “I stood next to President Obama as the Marines carried those flag-draped caskets off the plane at Andrews,” Clinton said , her voice hoarse with emotion. “I put my arms around the mothers and fathers, sisters and brothers, sons and daughters.” Clinton is the only witness testifying before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee. She will appear before the House Foreign Affairs Committee at 2 p.m. The secretary, who postponed her testimony regarding the much-publicized tragedy in December due to illness, tried to give context to the terrorist attack. “Any clear-eyed examination of this matter must begin with this sobering fact,” she began, noting that 19 similar attacks have taken place since 1988. More than four months have passed since the attack killed U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans in Libya – and left many pointing fingers. The State Department relieved three employees of their posts and a fourth resigned because of “systemic failures and leadership deficiencies at senior levels.” State Department spokeswoman Victoria Nuland said Clinton would tell Congress how the department has responded to the attack and those deficiencies. Clinton is reviewing recommendations from the Accountability Review Board, getting status updates on their implementation, and talking to people in the department. Clinton testified briefly before the Senate two weeks after the attack, an appearance that received criticism from conservatives in that little was revealed. The matter was still under investigation at the time; allegations of a Benghazi cover up dogged President Obama for weeks after the Sept. 11, 2012 attack.
