Piranha 3DD hits theaters and VOD today, and there’s just one question on Skin Central (and undoubtedly everyone else’s) mind: Does it deliver? “We wanted to double everything ,” screenwriter Marcus Dunstan told Yahoo! news earlier this week. “If the first one had laughs, we wanted to double the laughs. If the first one had violence, we wanted to double the violence. If the first one had offensive elements, well, actually, we wanted to triple the offensive elements. That was always the DNA of this movie.” So does that DNA include T&A? The red-band trailer for Piranha 3DD has hit usually nudity-shy YouTube, and considering Skin Central counted eight pairs of naked knockers (and one ass) in the first 30 seconds, we suggest you watch it a time or two (or twenty) before the boob police catch wind of it. You absolutely will not believe this, but at least one person out there thinks an engagement has been arranged for the sake of reality TV ratings. We’ll give you a moment to get over the shock… In the wake of Tamra Barney’s engagement to Eddie judge , co-star Gretchen Rossi has come out and called BS on the entire arrangement. Without quoting any sources directly, TMZ claims Rossi was actually approached by Real Housewives of Orange County producers first, as they asked her and Slade Smiley to get engaged on this season’s finale. They even, allegedly, bribed Smiley with a free ring and an all-expenses-paid trip to wherever he wanted to pop the question. But Slade and Gretchen turned down this offer. Tamra and Eddie, though, jumped all over it and the same insider says Bravo helped organize the entire proposal. No comment as of yet from the network, Rossi or Judge. [Photos: WENN.com]
The 14th season of Dancing With the Stars kicks off tonight. The cast has been criticized by some for its lack of star wattage, but it’s going to be an interesting group in which so many memorable performances are given and various storylines / controversies will emerge – like the previous 13 seasons. That said, who do you think will hoist the Mirror Ball? With this group of athletes, actors, musicians and relative unknowns waiting to break out, it looks like anyone’s game. Snow White and the Huntsman released its latest, full-length theatrical trailer this weekend, and the film looks even more bad ass than before, if that’s possible. At this weekend’s Wonder-Con, with stars Charlize Theron and Kristen Stewart on hand, the film was billed as being “not like anything you’ve seen before.” It actually looks like it could live up to the hype, based on the latest trailer showcasing even more of Stewart, Chris Hemsworth and Theron’s Evil Queen. Jeff Who Lives at Home hits theaters, and Mr. Skin’s got the big, bouncy scoop on costar and Lifetime Skinchievement award winner Susan Sarandon . On Blu-Ray, Kirsten Dunst goes amazingly full-frontal in Melancholia, and Californication has Sarah Power ‘s nude debut and an awesome Mr. Skin reference.
Fingers are crossed that Pixar bounces back from the uncharacteristic critical disappointment that was Cars 2 with their next effort, Brave — a foray into Disney princess territory about a headstrong young Scottish lass (voiced by Kelly Macdonald) who defies tradition in her parents’ kingdom. A new trailer for the animated adventure promises no small measure of spunky girl power as our heroine Merida upends an archery contest where doofus candidates are vying for her hand in marriage. It’s not a traditional trailer so much as it is a scene from the film, but it conveys a sense of what to expect, tonally. (Watch the first full trailer here .) From what’s been released so far it seems Brave ‘s story will be its strength; the round, cartoony CG-animated character design doesn’t appeal much to me, but Merida’s spirit is infectious in this twist on the familiar medieval archery scenario. Eva Green was hot in that Foreign teenage lust movie where I think she had actual sex, something I find of serious importance when it comes to movies, because real sex gives girls real perspective on how sex is supposed to be, instead of that Soap Opera shit housewives cheat on their husbands for….but never find…. Either way, It hits theaters february 10, 2012, but the Russian mob already got their hands on the goods…those pirates…and here are Eva Green’s awesome fucking tits….I’m into it. Last night was another AMAZING episode of “The X-Factor”. Now I will admit, I was a little skeptical over this show at first because I thought, “do we REALLY need another version of ‘American Idol’?” But as this season has progressed, I’ve seen so many break out artists that truly deserve to be recognized, and after last night, my feelings were definitely confirmed once again. Of course everyone on the show has crazy talent that could put some artists (that shall remain nameless) who are in the game already to shame, but there were a few superstars that I couldn’t stop thinking about when I woke up this morning, and felt they deserved some shine! Rachel Crow is one of them. Not only can this girl sing, but she can sang!! She’s only 13 years old and her stage presence and vocals on last night’s episode got her a comparison to a young Michael Jackson when he was with the Jackson 5! Now I don’t know about you, but being compared musically to Michael Jackson has to be the biggest honor, especially when you’re only 13 years old. I’m just sayin’. Melanie Amaro was another one of my favorites. Not only is she gorgeous, but she had enough talent to be eliminated and then brought back to the competition because “big brother” Simon realized he made a mistake and brought her back. She chose to sing a ballad last night that showed her vocal range and ability to sing a wide range of music. Go girl! Marcus Canty also stood out in my mind. His energy last night was on 10! L.A Reid even compared him to Bobby Brown! He’s only 20 years old but his stage presence was mind-blowing and I’m sure that we’ll be seeing more of Marcus in the near future! Of course there were more contestants that performed last night but these were my top three. Voting closes tonight as someone will get eliminated on tonight’s episode! Will you be watching? Denzel Washington is back in fighting form in the upcoming spy thriller Safe House . Washington plays Tobin Frost, the most dangerous renegade from the CIA, who comes out of hiding after a decade on the run. When the South African safe house he’s remanded to is attacked by mercenaries, a rookie operative (Ryan Reynolds) escapes with him. Now, the unlikely allies must stay alive long enough to uncover who wants them dead. The trailer features “No Church In The Wild” from Jay-Z and Kanye’s “Watch The Throne” hit album.
