Briana DeJesus vs. Mackenzie McKee: Teen Mom Feud Alert!

When MTV announced that Briana DeJesus would be joining the cast of Teen Mom 2 for the show’s upcoming season, the news was met with a fair amount of confusion. After all, the show certainly wasn’t lacking in storylines, and none of the existing cast members had left the series, so why bring in yet another mom? Now, it seems that TM2 producers were aware of some very important information about Briana: The girl has an incredible talent for bringing the drama. Already, DeJesus has feuded with Jenelle Evans and pissed off several of the other ladies – and she hasn’t even made her debut on the show yet. Now, it seems Briana is butting heads with a mom who’s not even associated with MTV’s most popular frianchise anymore. Mackenzie McKee starred alongside DeJesus in the ill-fated Teen Mom 3 , which lasted for just one season. She openly expressed her shock and surprise after learning that producers chose Briana instead of her to joing the cast of TM2. That was several months ago, but it seems Mackenzie is still a bit salty about the decision: As you can see, Mackenzie liked a tweet in which a fan complained about the addition of Briana to the cast. DeJesus took a screen shot and retweeted it along with a simple question: why? Mackenzie didn’t respond to Briana’s query, but did go on to rant about someone who follows her on social media only to “spread hate.” “I don’t hate anyone. I’ve always loved this person. But I can promise she hates me,” McKee tweeted, adding that she blocked the unidentified hater. There’s little doubt that McKee was talking about DeJesus, and she’s been open about her distaste for her former co-star for quite some time: “I hope MTV didn’t choose her over me because I am married and have three kids with the same guy,” she told Radar Online back in March. “The story on different baby daddies is what people are interested in.” We’re beginning to think MTV should also add Mackenzie to the cast for the sake of some old-fashioned feud drama. Camilla Parker Bowles to Meghan Markle: Do NOT Marry Prince Harry!

It’s been nine months since we first learned that Prince Harry is dating Meghan Markle , and engagement rumors have pretty much been flying non-stop the entire time. Based on insider accounts of the situation, we’re guessing Harry will eventually pop the question . But if Camilla Parker Bowles has her way, Meghan won’t be giving him the answer he wants. Parker Bowles, as you’re likely aware, is the second wife of Prince Charles. She reportedly disapproves of Meghan for reasons that remain unclear. Sources say Camilla has repeatedly appealed to her husband in an effort to get Harry to call it quits. Now, she’s trying a different tack and taking her argument straight to the source. No, she’s not trying to talk Harry out of proposing … … she’s trying to talk Meghan out of accepting. We should add that all of this comes from an Australian Yahoo! site, and should thus be taken with many grains of salt, but it’s not the first we’ve heard of Camilla looking down her nose at Meghan. “She told Meghan that she didn’t like her relationship with Harry and that she should think twice before agreeing to his marriage proposal because Camilla was planning to make her life very tough,” a source tells the site. “She’s long thought Meghan isn’t good enough for Harry and told her that she’s not welcome in the royal family.” The site claims that Camilla isn’t keen on Meghan for the usual reasons (she’s American; she’s an actress; she stars on a basic cable show that no one watches outside of nursing homes), but there’s an additional reason for her disdain, as well: Apparently, Meghan was in a two-year relationship with a “celebrity chef” named Corey Vilitello when she met Harry. She promptly dropped Corey like a hot rock because “prince” trumps “celebrity chef” any day, and Camilla thinks it was the shadiest of moves. Markle’s own sister has accused her of being a status-obsessed social climber, and while most of her claims have been debunked, it seems Camilla is still riding the anti-Meghan train. Teen Mom OG Reunion Recap: A Fiery Showdown

In the aftermath of a chilling, confusing and dramatic season finale, last night marked the first portion of MTV’s Teen Mom: OG reunion. You know the routine:  Once season concludes, the fab four sit down with Dr. Drew, and often their significant others, to rehash the events of recent months. Occasionally, there is an all-out melee. More commonly, the barbs exchanged are merely verbal, though that can be explosive enough. When the episode got underway, Dr. Drew called Maci to the stage to discuss Ryan Edwards appearing to drive while under the influence.  Maci was quick to point out that Bentley felt “concerned” and “confused” about Ryan’s addiction and what it could mean for the future.  Dr. Drew was genuinely shocked by the footage of Ryan falling asleep while driving.  “When I see someone nodding off in the car like that, I think opiates,” he said to Maci. As if it was not bad enough that the producers showed Ryan in this state, Dr. Drew leaped to their defense.  The producers would not have let Ryan in the car. … They found out only after the fact, just like the rest of us.” Something tells us they could have shut it down quicker. It was downright bizarre, but it did prove Maci’s suspicions.  Mackenzie was then brought on stage to have it out with Maci for everything she had been saying about Ryan’s addiction and treatment.  Mackenzie pointed out that things were looking good for Ryan’s recovery, and subsequently read out a letter she had written to Maci.  “You had known about his problems since November. … He could have died, and still, you said nothing.” She then accused Maci of “exploiting Ryan and his addiction on the show.” The producers love drama, and if Maci is helping bring it, it will make sense that she would exploit Ryan’s addiction to keep her storyline fresh.  Dr. Drew then asked the two women to make things right because, well, it’s not a food situation for either party to be in. Whether they will be able to do so, we don’t know.  When Maci’s turn was up, Amber took to the stage to open up about her Matt Baier woes. When the episode was filmed, they were still living in the same house, but their relationship was in doubt.  Dr. Drew then called up Matt to find out about the financial entanglements for them. If you watch Teen Mom OG online , you will recall that Amber accused her man of stealing money from her.  While Matt denied all the allegations, Amber responded, ” “Where’s $60,000 dollars? Where’s $30,000? … Where’s 90 grand?” Matt decided to make things worse, saying: “It’s sitting in my backpack.” Things seemed like they were ending on a happier note, with Amber saying “That’s the man I fell in love with.” But then Matt said they had a rough few months, and Amber went ham. “We’ve had a rough couple of [expletive] years. Counting On Recap: Jill Duggar is Having a …

Continuing the Duggar family baby boom,  Counting On Season 3 Episode 4  featured the reveal of the gender of Jill Dillard’s second baby. Meanwhile, Jessa and Ben adjusted to being a family of four, Jinger tried to acclimate herself to Texas and Joy had dinner with Austin’s family. We already knew the gender of the baby, but it was still good getting to watch the couple reveal the news to their respective families.  In true Jill and Derick fashion, they opted to reveal the news in a fun and exciting way. Before the gender reveal, Jill predicted she was having a girl, while Derick went with a boy.  Most of the family took Jill’s side, thinking that because they already had a beautiful son, they would get a daughter this time around.  As we already knew, Derick was right, and they were adding another boy to their brood. Both moms visited Jill and Derick to the ultrasound, and it turned into a special affair. Revealing the news to the rest of the family was like a huge scavenger hunt. Instead of calling them straight away, they hid a box of boy’s clothing and left some clues.  In the end, Jordan found the package, earning his team a win. Yes, they split the family members into two teams. Hey, they have to do something to fill the episode up.  Otherwise, we’d have cute confessionals of the expectant couple pondering what their little bundle of joy would be like and how they would cope being a two-child family.  In case you’ve been living under a rock, the couple recently revealed the name of their son in a cute Instagram post. Yes, we say they are cute all the time because, well, they are.  They’re adorable.  “We are so excited to announce the name of Baby Dillard #2! Samuel Scott Dillard. We can’t wait to welcome him to the world and have him join our family very soon!” Elsewhere, Jinger and Jeremy were brushing up on their Spanish in hilarious fashion. It reminded us of school for some reason.  You could tell the couple was enjoying their time together, brushing up on all of the Spanish terms.  “I think that Jeremy keeps everything super exciting,” Jinger, 23, says. “Learning Spanish is just another thing that’s super enjoyable to do with him.” After Jinger had got the word for baby wrong, she revealed via an interview that it would be an important word for them going forward.  “El bebe, that is a word that is important for us to learn because Jeremy and I always call each other babe,” she says. “We haven’t switched over to the Spanish word for baby.” Jeremy then said they should go to a restaurant and test out their new skills.  “We might end up ordering a little boy or something,” she jokes. “They’ll bring out a child to entertain us.” Um, alright then.  What did you think of the episode? Maria Menounos: Diagnosed With Brain Tumor as Mom Fights Brain Cancer

Maria Menounos is on the road to recovery after having surgery to remove a golf-ball-size meningioma brain tumor. The 39-year-old underwent the surgery while her mother, Litsa Menounos, battled stage 4 brain cancer.  The E! News coanchor confirmed the news to People Magazine.  “This February I thought I had an ear infection, so I went to a doctor, and he said, ‘Your ears are the cleanest things I’ve ever seen. What else are you feeling?'” “I’d been getting light-headed on-set and having headaches.” “My speech had gotten slurred, and I was having difficulty reading the teleprompter.” “I said, ‘I know you’re going to think I’m crazy, but I think I have a brain tumor like my mom,’” Maria continued.  “He said, ‘I don’t think you’re crazy. Let’s just get an MRI.'” “The next week I started feeling better, so I was like, ‘I’m clearly paranoid.’ So I kept pushing the MRI.” Fast forward three months and the tumor has been removed. The tumor was revealed not to be cancerous, and her prognosis is hopeful.  Maria has decided to give up her role within E! News to recover and allow herself to think about the next chapter of her life.  She said in a statement: “I am so grateful for the past three years at E!, I had such an amazing time co-hosting with Jason Kennedy and working everyday with the wonderful roster of talent on the show including producers, staff, and crew.” “It was such a special, good-hearted group and one I’ll always consider family.” “A special thank you to Frances Berwick and Adam Stotsky for all the support they have shown me through the years especially during these tough times.” “I will truly miss everyone and looking forward to this next chapter in my life.” In addition to speaking to People, Maria opened up about her experience on The Today Show. “For me, I saw it as a huge blessing and a huge gift because I needed to change my life,” she said, trying to hold back the tears. “We’re caretakers as women, and we help everybody, and we put ourselves last always.” “And I don’t think — at least for me — I guess I realized I didn’t value myself in a lot of ways.” “And so I think that that was a really important lesson.” View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Beat Cancer Maria also opened up about her intentions to start a family in the wake of the ordeal.  “I want to start a family,” she added on Today. “You realize really quickly when something like this happens that nothing else really matters.” We at The Hollywood Gossip wish Maria a speedy recovery.

Jessa Duggar on Raising Two Kids: It’s SO Chaotic!

If you watch Counting On online , you know that the Jessa Duggar and Ben Seewald are taking her parents’ approach to family planning and seem to be in a race to hit double-digit offspring before they turn 30. Back in February,  Jessa welcomed her second child , a boy named Henry Wilberforce. Henry’s arrival came just 15 months after the birth of Jessa’s first son , Spurgeon. So these days, Jessa and husband Ben Seewald are raising two kids under the age of two – an undertaking that no doubt puts their patience to the test on a daily basis. Jessa isn’t one to complain (We’re pretty sure Duggar women are trained from a young age to keep perma-grins affixed to their faces at all times.), but in a preview for Monday’s episode of Counting On , the 24-year-old confesses that her situation can be trying at times. “I kind of expected it to be a challenge going from one to two kids — I feel like every day is different,” Jessa says in the clip. “Some days it’s very, very simple. Other days, it’s a little more chaotic.” We imagine “a little more chaotic” is Jessa’s euphemistic way of saying there are days when she looks at the pile of dirty diapers and wants to rip her hair out by the roots. Things are a bit less hectic on Ben Seewald’s end, as the Duggars’ have basically added an 11th commandment to their Bible that forbids men from lifting a finger around the house. But being unemployed and under no obligation to assist in the raising of his children didn’t stop Ben from offering his own two cents on life in the Seewald household: “Since Henry’s birth, things have been a little more busy in the Seewald house,” Ben tells producers in the preview. “One adjustment going from one child to two is there are so many diapers and they pile up so fast. We gotta take the trash out a lot more often.” We’re guessing Jessa cracked and let out a terrifying Heath Ledger Joker laugh when she heard Ben complain about taking the trash out more often. If she didn’t, she deserves some sort of prize. Ben should probably go ahead and get a job before Jessa disappears with the kids and goes full Gone Girl on his ass. Happy July 4, celebrity gossip lovers!   While this is a time to hit the beach, hang with family and watch fireworks, we all know what this holiday is truly about: FOOD!   Specifically, July is about grilling – and we're here to help with the following patriotically awesome recipes. 1. Patriotic Pasta To do something different with your pasta salad this year, try boiling your noodles in water colored with food coloring. 2. Corn on the Cob Want to make your corn on the cob amazing? GRILL IT! Shuck it and throw it over the coals. Slather with butter, sprinkle with salt, or coat it with mayonnaise! 3. Burgers It doesn’t get more perfect than a juicy grilled burger. The little flag just sort of makes it, don’t you think? (Mustard on the bottom bun, people!) 4. Coleslaw Spice up your slaw with slices of jalapeno and squeezes of lime juice! 5. Baked Beans It’s hard to top baked beans as the perfect side dish for a barbecue. We won’t tell if you just open a can and pretend you slaved away. 6. Paris Jackson SLAMS Kendall & Kylie Jenner: Show Some Respect!

As you may have heard, Kendall and Kylie Jenner aren’t having the greatest week, and they have no one to blame but themselves. For some reason, the sisters thought it would be a good idea to sell t-shirts emblazoned with trademarked images of artists like Tupac, The Notorious B.I.G., and Ozzy Osbourne. To make matters worse, KJ and KJ superimposed photos of themselves over the images over the legendary artists. It was like some sort of bizarre experiment in subliminal advertising: “If we make people think of us when they’re looking at iconic artists,” the sisters seemed to be saying, “they’ll mistakenly think that we’re super talented, too!” Needless to say, the plan didn’t work out. First, Kendall and Kylie were slammed by Biggie’s mom in a social media tirade for the ages. Shortly thereafter, the Jenners were destroyed by the Osbournes , as both Sharon and Kelly took to Twitter to verbally tear them new ones. Now, relatives of famous musicians who weren’t directly affected by Kendall and Kylie’s idiocy are getting in on the fun: Paris Jackson is roughly Kylie’s age and two years younger than Kendall, so hopefully her stern words about the importance of respecting one’s musical elders will hit home especially hard: “As a huge fan of zeppelin, the doors, Floyd.. I mean these bands literally helped shape who I am today. I can’t condone this ‘fashion,'” Jackson wrote on Twitter. “Legends like these who completely changed our world today, not just the music world, should be respected and honored. not turned into this.” She added: “Pink Floyd is not Chanel. Led Zeppelin is not Michael Kors.

Adele Cancels Remainder of Tour: Is She Done Performing Forever?!

Adele is, if we’re being honest, a beautiful gift that we’ve never deserved. But still, even though we know we don’t deserve her and all her glory , that doesn’t mean we’re ready for her to leave us anytime soon. Unfortunately, it seems like we don’t have much of a choice, and thanks to a few new updates from the woman herself, we’re starting to prepare ourselves for the worst. For our first piece of evidence, we have a note that Adele wrote and included in her tour program for her series of concerts at Wembley Stadium. For the big finale of her current tour, she’s doing four shows at Wembley — or she was. More on that in a moment. In the note, she wrote that “Touring is a peculiar thing, it doesn’t suit me particularly well.” “I’m a real homebody and I get so much joy in the small things. Plus I’m dramatic and have a terrible history of touring . Until now that is!” She wrote that she’d done 119 shows in the tour, plus the four at Wembley, and “I only ever did this tour for you and to hopefully have an impact on you the way that some of my favorite artists have had on me live.” “And I wanted my final shows to be in London because I don’t know if I’ll ever tour again and so I want my last time to be at home.” And there it is. Cuts like a knife, doesn’t it? So according to that note, the fans that managed to get tickets to the finale of her tour are super, super lucky. Or they were if they caught the first two shows. Yesterday, after playing her second show, she made a heartfelt announcement on Twitter that she’d be canceling the remaining two shows. Meaning that the tour is over, and there’s a good chance that we’ll never get another chance to see her tour again. In the post she wrote on Twitter, Adele explained that “The last two nights at Wembley have been the biggest and best shows of my life.” She said she never thought she could pull off a show that big — classic Adele adorableness . “However,” she continued, “I’ve struggled vocally both nights. I had to push a lot harder than I normally do.” She said that, after going to see her doctor, she learned that her vocal cords have been damaged, and “on medical advice I am unable to perform over the weekend.” It’s not the first time she’s experienced trouble from her vocal cords — after experiencing some similar issues, she had to take a good deal of time off for surgery to repair the problem in 2011. This time around, she told her fans that “To say I’m heartbroken would be a complete understatement.” She’s been trying steroids and other various treatments, and she said that she’s considered pushing on with the show anyway, but if she did, she likely couldn’t even finish the set. “I’m so desperate to do them that I’ve even considered miming, just to be in front of you and be with you,” she added. That would be a whole new kind of precious , but she’s decided against that route. “I’m sorry,” she wrote to her fans. “I’m sorry for your disappointment. I’m sorry for the nights you would have had with your loved ones and the memories you would have made together.” “I’m sorry for the time and money you’ve spent organizing your trips. You know I would not make this decision lightly.” Poor, sweet Adele also said that she’s really struggling with coming to terms that she won’t get to do those last two shows, but that she’ll figure out a way to make it right. For the time being, she said that returns will be offered if the shows can’t be rescheduled, and she’ll have more information soon. This is What a 16-Pound Baby Looks Like

To be clear, we’re talking about a 16-pound newborn baby. And yes, this is a human baby that we’re talking about. There are some big newborns in this world, but not all of them make doctors wonder if the scale is broken. This prodigious boy is named Waylon Cole, and he was 16-pounds when he was born. (We can be kind of judgmental about baby names, but Waylon Cole is a genuinely good name, and with Cole as a middle name, he has a great backup if he doesn’t like being called Waylon ) Waylon’s father, Edmond Hallet, says that people in the delivery room thought that they’d broken the scale when trying to weigh the 16-pound baby . “The doctors and nurses were like, ‘Oh my god!’” Well, that’s pretty understandable in terms of reactions. Waylon was, of course, delivered via cesarean section, which is why he and his mother are still alive. But while the family expected that he would be a big baby, they honestly didn’t realize how large he’d become. “We ended up weighing him three times because no one could believe he actually weighed 16 pounds. At first I thought maybe the scale was broken.” The average newborn human weighs 7.5 pounds. The scales were telling them that Waylon weighed more than two average newborns. About 95% of babies weigh anywhere from about 5.5 pounds to 10 pounds. Some babies weigh slightly less when they’re placed on the scale. It’s not uncommon for a newborn to expel their meconium before even getting weighed. (Meconium is a bit of excrement, comprised of things that the baby ingested in utero — we’re talking cells, bile, and water) That can tip the scales and make a baby’s weight seem slightly less dramatic. But nothing, one way or the other, was going to make Waylon Cole seem like anything else than a giant. Waylon is 28-year-old Whitney Hallett’s fourth child, by the way. The other babies were within the range that’s usually considered to be big. The smallest was 8 pounds, 8 ounces. The second-smallest was 9 pounds, 14 ounces. The previous heavyweight champion of the Hallett family was born at 11 pounds, 1 ounce. Obviously, Waylon Cole has knocked those records out of the park. He’s kind of knocked every other baby’s weight out of the park. Whitney had gestational diabetes, which can impact people who are pregnant. One potential effect of gestational diabetes is that the babies can grow especially large. But obviously Waylon Cole is a significant outlier. Waylon has now grown to 17 pounds and 7 ounces, and though he apparently sleeps more than the Hallett family’s other children did as babies, he’s totally healthy. A lot of babies set records at their respective hospitals, but we’ve never seen any newborn whose weight measured up to Waylon.
