Well, as you’ve no doubt heard by now, Meghan Markle welcomed her first child today. Based on his comments to the press, we know that Prince Harry is excited about fatherhood , but Meghan is still lying low, recovering, and spending time with her bouncing baby boy. Of course, royal-watchers are all over the world are overjoyed with the news that the delivery went smoothly, and both mother and son are resting comfortably. But many also find themselves consumed by burning questions. Sure, some of the big ones were answered today, but several others remain — including the all-important mystery of what Meghan and Harry will name their child . As is always the case with this sort of thing, the question of the baby’s name means big business for the global gambling community, with thousands placing their bets on the favorites. The most common predictions are names that have traditionally been favored by the royals — Arthur, Henry, George, and the like. But this time around, several dark horse candidates have proven to be popular and it seems that’s all thanks to Meghan. Yes, many believe that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will break with tradition in order to honor Meghan’s American roots. One prominent purveyor of this theory is royal expert Victoria Arbiter, who repeated her hypothesis to CBS this week just prior to the announcement that Meghan had welcomed a boy” “I don’t have an inside track on the actual name but I think when it comes to names we are looking at a very strong name because that is who Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are,” Arbiter said. “But I also think we are going to see a name that works on both sides of the pond. “For example, something like Eleanor, Eleanor of Aquitaine was a 12th-century queen, she was highly influential and well respected.” Obviously, that one went out the window as soon as we realized we were dealing with a prince and not a princess. (Although if Meghan and Harry wanted to defy convention, naming a boy Eleanor would certainly do the trick.) Fortunately, Victoria had some theories regarding boys’ names, too: “When we come to boys Alexandra is the Queen’s middle name, Alexander is the masculine form,” Arbiter added. “Alexander Hamilton is one of the founding fathers in the US,” she continued. “So I think there are a lot of names here that work with the British Royal Family tree but also have strong roots in the US.” So there you have it — smart money is on Alexander, it seems. And you might still have time to place your bet. Harry and Meghan say they have yet to pick a name — and given how private these two are, it might be a week or more before they reveal it to the world. Kim Kardashian issued a warning to fans on Keeping Up with the Kardashians last night: Enjoy my naked photos while you can , she basically said, because you’ll only have them to ogle for about another decade or so! About one month after news broke that Kardashian was studying to become a lawyer , the reality star expounded on her plans in far more detail on the latest installment of this E! hit. In a revealing few minutes of the show, Kim opened up about her decision to start a four-year apprenticeship with a law firm in San Francisco last summer, with the goal of taking the bar exam in 2022. She is NOT messing around, people. Unbeknownst to many, the 38-year old has been working with author and CNN commentator Van Jones and attorney Jessica Jackson, cofounders of #cut50, a national bipartisan advocacy group on criminal-justice reform, for months, visiting prisons, petitioning governors. As you likely do know well by now, she successfully petitioned President Donald Trump last year to commute the life sentence of Alice Marie Johnson , a nonviolent drug offender. And she said last night that prison reform is atop her list of priorities going forward. “It’s kind of crazy because I’m learning it all as I go,” she said on camera. “I spend more time on this than I do anything else. It’s insane but it’s so fun to be around people that are super smart and get it and want the same thing.” Kim’s father was an attorney. He famously helped defend O.J. Simpson in his 1994 murder trial. Kardashian said on air that her dad discouraged her way back in the day from joining this family business, but that working on behalf of Johnson has “motivated” her to try again. “I remember in the OJ case, I would go be going through it and Kourtney would yell at me: ‘Stop going through all of dad’s stuff!’ ” she said of how she’s always had an interest in the law. Added Kim along these lines: “My dad always taught me that hard work is really important and to really commit to things, so my goal would be in like, 10 years, to give up being Kim K and just focus on this and be an attorney and fight for so many deserving people.” It would seemingly be very easy to make fun of Kim Kardashian here. It seems insane of her to think she’s gonna suddenly become a successful and important lawyer, right? This is the same woman who is only famous because she had sex with Ray J on camera. But she actually does seem to acknowledge that it will take time — and let’s imagine for a moment that she can pull it off. We’ve mocked Kim on so many occasions in the past for NOT using her global influence on anything more useful that offering terrible diet tips and/or promoting ridiculous weight loss supplements . We’re not about to hurl any shade now when Kardashian talks about using it for the actual greater good. “I’m dealing with my three kids, I’m dealing with my career, the fourth baby coming and the stress of law school,” Kim said of the challenges ahead. “Just because you do an apprenticeship does not mean that it’s anything less – I mean, you have to put in 18 hours a week. It is a full commitment. I won’t have time for events, for favors, for friends, for literally anything, for four years.” Kanye West is fully on board, however, and Kim has always said she works hard. They say that love is a battlefield. On Game of Thrones Season 8 Episode 4 , however, the concept of love appeared to trump anything that happened on the battlefield… … and it was exceptionally weird. Following a succesful battle against the Night King, nearly everyone in Winterfell was in a celebratory mood on Sunday night. That’s fine and great and understandable and all. We’d down a few pints of ale after defeating the army of the undead as well. But focus was shifted so strongly away from what Dany described as the “last war” still to come against Cersei that many of our heroes and heroines cared more about plotting their romantic gestures than plotting their next attack. This was no big deal when it involved poor Gendry (just made Lord of Storm’s End) proposing to Arya and the young Night Kingslayer responded by saying she’ll never be a Lady. However, it was a far bigger deal when it centered on Jaime and Brienne shedding both their armor and their clothing. These two have been through a lot together. There’s a very clear and strong bond there. But the show somehow couldn’t leave it alone, couldn’t just allow them to be respectful friends and battle partners. It had to give us a storyline in which Jaime got jealous of Tormund hitting on Brienne and therefore got drunk and followed her into her bedroom and the two had sex and then acted like a pair of totally smitten teenagers. Heck, totally middle middle schoolers, really. Because they were just so in love, Jaime and Brienne chose to stay behind in Winterfell, even after a plan was devised for two groups (one by boat and one by land) to storm King’s Landing and overthrow Cersei. Yes, Brienne (a proud knight who may be the best fighter in all of Westeros) and Jaime (who should want nothing more than to murder his sister and who isn’t a shabby fighter himself) stayed behind to hang out in bed all day. This changed, of course, after Sansa made a remark about Cersei eventually getting hanged and then Jaime broke Brienne’s heart by choosing to rush back and seemingly save his sister because he, too, is “hateful.” This reduced mighty Brienne of Tarth into a blubbering, crying mess and, just… WTF, Game of Thrones?!? But it got far worse and less sensical on two other fronts. First, Jon Snow proved that he was far better off when he knew nothing because he insisted on spilling the secret of his true identity to Sansa and Arya. He did this after Dany begged him not to because she wanted to be Queen and he didn’t — and it didn’t take a Tyrion-like mind to realize that Sansa would not just sit quietly on this information. Dany basically threatened her lover to take this secret to his grave or else they’d never live peacefully as a couple and she’d never reign peacefully as a monarch. Jon ignored her, however, and told Sansa and Arya everything. At least we assumed he did so — somehow, despite Jon’s heritage being THE main plot point right now, the series chose to cut away and not give us Arya and Sansa’s reaction to this bombshell. Dany did prove to be prophetic, though, when Sansa barely lasted one scene before telling Tyrion everything. This at least led to maybe our favorite scene of the episode, as Tyrion and Varys debated what the heck to do about it. Jon is the true heir to the Iron Throne. He is reasonable and popular and, as Varys astutely pointed out, perhaps the ideal ruler is someone who actually does not want to rule at all. But Tyrion remained steadfast in his opinion that Dany would make a great leader, despite her penchant for killing and her frightening talk earlier that it was her “destiny” to rid the world of tyrants. She seemed totally fine doing this by burning King’s Landing to the group and killing thousands of innocents in the process simply to dethrone Cersei. Thankfully, Tyrion convinced his Queen to at least try and strike a bargain; to offer to spare Cersei’s life in exchange for a quick surrender. Cut to the final, most confounding and both suspenseful and irritating scene of the episode. Cersei and her crew stood outside of the capitol’s gates and Tyrion delivered their terms. However, he did so while Cersei and her entourage held Missandei hostage. She was handcuffed and standing up high alongside Cersei and Euron (who has been told the child in Cersei’s belly belongs to him) and The Mountain. This development raised several questions, chief among them: How did the Golden Army capture Missandei, who Grey Worm had told to get on a skiff as soon as things turned violent when the Unsullied approached King’s Landing? How did the Golden Army even know who Missandei is? Was this scene really necessary? Let’s put aside the beef that many critics have, which is that a show lacking in diversity took a former slave and put her back in chains and then (SPOILER ALERT WE GUESS!) chopped her head off. Let’s just hone in on why this was even included in the episode … outside of the broader political/societal points one could make about Game of Thrones. Did we need yet another reminder that Cersei is a monster? Tyrion pleaded with his sister to surrender at one point because he claimed she was decided NOT this type of non-human being. But she has proven at every turn that she’s as monstrous as they come! She blew up the Sept of Baelor and killed like hundreds of people at once just a short while ago! The audience didn’t need to be told yet again that Cersei is the absolute worst. And Team Take This Bitch Down Forever shouldn’t have ever thought differently, either. It all felt unnecessary, akin to torture porn and a forced twist, orchestrated by the writers for full effect — when the past seven-plus seasons have already been more than enough to prepare us for Dany taking on Cersei and pursuing what she believes is rightfully hers. Whether Dany truly goes mad and goes all dracarys on King’s Landing is an intriguing cliffhanger. The closing shot of the Mother of Dragons in full-on motherf-cker mode was awesome. But the time spent on supposed romances this week – concluding with the pain of Grey Worm watching his girlfriend get executed – felt out of place, not wholly earned and often extraneous. Amy Roloff and Matt Roloff work together and live approximately 100 yards away from each other. They see each other almost everyday and are constantly asked about one another. And yet… Amy and Matt are not merely divorced, but they are in very serious relationships with other people and yet still manage to remain amicable and supportive of each other. This prompts an obvious question, right? HOW?!? How do they make this arrangement successful? “We want to remain respectful,” Amy told Access in a recent interview, explaining how they may no longer be husband and wife… but they will always be the parents of four children. “For the sake of our kids. … We did have a long life together … it didn’t work out, we’ve moved on, but for the sake of the kids, you know,” she added. Most of Little People, Big World this season has been centered on a feud between Amy and Matt. The latter seemingly wants to sell the family farm, while the former is far more hesitant. Matt went as far as to say Amy was holding his life hostage on a recent episode, but this obstacle doesn't appear to have affected the former couple's long-term relationship. “We can drive each other crazy, but then we respect each other as well,” Matt told Us Weekly a few days ago, echoing his ex-wife's sentiment. He even said the pair often hang out together… with their respective girlfriend (Caryn Chandler) and boyfriend (Chris Marek). “We ran an event just the other day – I was there with Caryn and [she was] there with Chris, and Amy and I and Chris and Caryn all had conversation. There was no tension in the room; it was all very easy.” Easy, perhaps. But also unusual. Amy explained to this same tabloid that the quartet are likely not “going to be best friends,” yet they “can be in the same room” together. Matt, for his part, said he would love to double date with Amy and her boyfriend, but “it hasn’t gotten anywhere” yet. He has, however, put trolls in their place any time they criticize Amy online. He still has her back. The TLC costars — who share twins Jeremy and Zach Roloff, 28, son Jacob Roloff, 22, and daughter Molly Roloff, 25 — got married in 1987 and announced their split in June of 2015 “After 27 years of marriage, it is with great sadness that we have come to the difficult decision to file for divorce,” they said in a statement at the time, concluding: “We are proud of what we have accomplished together.” The duo now reside in separate houses on the same Oregon farm, which they still run as a team. As it turns out, Justin Bieber has it all wrong. The singer recently opened up on Instagram about his struggle with mental health and how anxiety is destroying his life . This is mistaken, however. The artist is destroying his own life by saying really dumb and really insensitive things. Late on Friday, Bieber shared a tribute to Chris Brown, one that didn’t merely paint a rosy picture of the polarizing star… … but one that put Brown in the musical class of two all-time greats. In this Instagram post, Bieber published an image that featured the phrase “The Legendary Equation” at the top and included photos of Michael Jackson, Tupac Shakur and Brown. “MJ plus 2 Pac equals CB,” the snapshot reads. This alone would have been controversial enough on its own. Michael Jackson is considered the King of Pop. Tupac is considered the greatest rapper of all-time. Is Brown really at their level? However, Bieber stepped into scalding hot water that extended far beyond one’s music taste when he went on to explain his reasoning here. “everyone wants to wait til people die To give them the credit they deserve. I’m calling it now when CB passes away after a long full life, you will miss what you had in front of you the whole time,” Bieber wrote as a caption to this picture, adding: trust me watch you will see. the people who have over looked this mans talent because of a mistake he made.. you need to reevaluate! Love you @chrisbrownofficial. You caught that, didn’t you? Bieber brushed off Brown’s infamous assault of Rihanna as a mere “mistake.” Brown, of course, beat his then-girlfriend bloody back in 2009. He slammed his fists into the singer’s face multiple times, eventually agreeing to a plea agreement that resulted in five years of probation and six months of community service and nothing more. In the many years since, Brown has been accused on other occasions of beating women and of flipping out in an extreme manner — sometimes with a gun . In other words: The Rihanna incident would have been enough of a reason to cancel Chris Brown forever, but he has shown in numerous other instances that it was far from a one-time mistake. The guy is a violent, entitled, dangerous thug. But Justin Bieber loves him! He has gushed about Brown often in the past , setting a truly terrible example for all of his young fans. And many social media users called him out this week for doing so. “Domestic abuse aint a mistake, especially when its done repeatedly. Im sick to my stomach, definitely unfollowing you, mad disappointed,” one person remarked. Another referenced wife Hailey Baldwin and added: “What if Rihanna was Hailey (sic)? Would you say the same?” “it wasn’t a mistake. it was a crime,” another individual wrote. Brown, as you might expected, reacted differently to Bieber’s kind words. “I love you man! Thank you for believing in me. Your star shines so bright and your heart is unmatched!” he wrote on Bieber’s post, concluding: “You are a king but more importantly you were here to inspire and create endless possibilities bro! I’m with ya till the wheels fall off and when they do .. we gone get some new wheels.” God, let’s hope not. Sad news today out of the entertainment industry: Peter Mayhew, the actor behind the legendary Chewbacca suit/character in the Star Wars trilogy, passed away on Tuesday, April 30. He was 74 years old. The London native, who also played a key role in the television series Dark Towers back in 1981, passed away in his North Texas home. He was surrounded by loved ones at the time, as confirmed via the following Twitter announcement. The family of Peter Mayhew, with deep love and sadness, regrets to share the news that Peter has passed away, He left us the evening of April 30, 2019 with his family by his side in his North Texas home. According to Variety, Mayhew was discovered by producer Charles H. Schneer while working as a hospital attendant in Englad; he was then cast in Ray Harryhausen’s Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger.” The following year, he was cast as Chewbacca, the 200-year-old Wookiee who was a key and beloved part of the Star Wars franchise from the very first movie. Mayhew went on to appear in The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, Revenge of the Sith, The Force Awakens and The Star Wars Holiday Special. (“He fought his way back from being wheelchair-bound to stand tall and portray Chewbacca once more,” his family said after Mayhew returned in 2015 for The Force Awakens.) He was active on the “Star Wars” convention circuit and wrote two books about his experience overall in the franchise, Growing Up Giant and My Favorite Giant. Awhile back, Mayhew was asked by Australia’s BMag why Chewbacca didn’t receive a medal at the end of the first Star Wars along with Solo and Skywalker. “I think it was one of two reasons,” he said in response, adding in this interview: “One, they didn’t have enough money to buy me a medal. “Or two, [Carrie Fisher] couldn’t reach my neck, and it was probably too expensive to build a little step so that I could step down or she could step up and give me the medal.” On the small screen, Mayhew made guest appearances on Donny & Marie, The Muppet Show and Glee. Mayhew also “consulted” on The Last Jedi, according to his relatives when that film came out, putting “his heart and soul into the role of Chewbacca and it showed in every frame of the films from his knock-kneed running, firing his bowcaster from the hip, his bright blue eyes, down to each subtle movement of his head and mouth… “But to him, the Star Wars family meant so much more to him than a role in a film.” Shortly after news of Mayhew’s death went viral, costar Mark Hamill paid tribute to Mayhew online, Tweeting: “A big man with an even bigger heart who never failed to make me smile & a loyal friend who I loved dearly-I’m grateful for the memories we shared & I’m a better man for just having known him. Thanks Pete.” Actor Joonas Suotamo served as Mayhew’s Chewbacca double for The Force Awakens and portrayed the character fully in The Last Jedi in 2017. In 2018, Suotamo told People Magazine Mayhew was a “great guy” adding at that time of the 7’3″ star: “He gave me a week-long Wookie boot camp where he taught me all the nuances of the character.” There will be a memorial service for friends and family on June 29, with a memorial for fans in Los Angeles in early December at EmpireCon. Thursday’s episode of Grey’s Anatomy featured Meredith Grey risking it all, and it could cost her not only her job but also her freedom. But what pushed the hero to make a risky decision? A patient without insurance, of course! The patient, Gabby, and her father arrived at the hospital and turned to Meredith and Alex. They came to the United States with the aim of getting her care, but things were not working out. All of their resources were depleted, and insurance wasn’t working out for them. Mer and Alex found a mass in the girl’s colon, meaning that it was time to operate. The father struggled to get coverage from the state, prompting Meredith to say that she would find a way to sort things out. What did Meredith do to get the surgery completed? She put Ellis’ name on the paperwork, meaning her insurance could be used because it covered family members. Richard found out about it, and he was pissed. “The system failed him. The system is broken,” she yelled at him. “We know it is. So what does that say about us if we don’t fix it?” Richard struggled to contain his fury, primarily because he didn’t want anyone to learn about it. He had a risky plan to save Meredith’s career. If they could make the patient appear to be sicker, keep her in hospital for 30 days, then a new state program would activate. That would mean the patient would be covered, wouldn’t be deported and would be entitled to help. Meredith was upset, but knew what she did was the right thing to do. She turned to DeLuca, expecting him to be furious at her. But he took her by surprise, dropping the L-bomb on her because it reiterated that he knew she was a good person. “I’m in awe of what you did today,” he said. “I was afraid if I opened my mouth, the only thing that was going to come out was if I loved you.” “Well, okay,” Meredith replied. “Glad we cleared that up.” Elsewhere, Jo started to return to her old ways, and that was good news for her friends and loved one. She helped Alex get good news for one of his patients in the form of getting a donor … or so she thought. In a wild moment, she realized that she had found someone who needed a donor, not someone willing to give up an organ. Jo desperately turned to Teddy for assistance, but there was nothing that could be done. Teddy went on to tell the patient’s mother the truth. Kailyn Lowry and Leah Messer may or may not be dating. Yes, there are actual rumors than these Teen Mom co-stars are a romantic pairing at the moment. But while that chatter seems a little far-fetched, the following we know to be true: Kailyn Lowry and Leah Messer are absolutely aghast and appalled over what is going on with David Eason and Jenelle Evans. Granted, there’s always drama between this married couple — but the events of the past few days take the heinous and disgusting cake, that’s for certain. In case you’ve somehow missed it, Eason shot and killed the family dog, Nugget, this past Saturday….after first beating the canine bloody with his bare hands . The polarizing former MTV personality confessed himself to this dastardly deed, saying on Instagram that Nugget snapped at his young daughter and he would do anything to protect his family and he has no regrets. According to Hollywood Life, Lowry and Messer barely even know how to react to this development. Considering the literal blood on Eason’s hands, however, as well as Jenelle’s refusal to leave her husband (she claims she’s pondering a divorce , but does anyone believe her), Kailyn and Leah would love for MTV to stop associating with this dangerous couple. For good. “The other stars of Teen Mom, especially Kailyn and Leah, are horrified by what happened to Nugget,” an insider claims, adding to the aforementioned website: “They’re all embarrassed and saddened that this tragedy is even being associated with their beloved franchise. “The cast collectively wishes Jenelle left the show when David did last year, she is not popular with anyone on the show.” Eason was fired by producers over a year ago due to the many homophobic remarks he made on social media. This has been a point of contention in his relationship with Evans because cameras won’t film her any time Eason is around, making it difficult for her to get as much air time as before. Viewers are reportedly clamoring for Evans to also be fired at this point — and Messer and Lowry appear glad to show her the door. “As long as [Jenelle] is still around, [the] cast fears David could resurface,” Hollywood Life writes, expounding as follows: “They’ve been fearful for a while now that he will show up as they feel like he’s a loose canon and they don’t know what to expect from him. “After this latest ugly event, they’ve all made it very clear that they don’t want anything to do with David ever, period.” Eason and Lowry have gone back and forth for months, of course. Most recently, David trashed Kailyn as fat and she clapped back in epic fashion . So there’s a history here, absolutely. But one doesn’t need to have a troubling past with Eason to think he’s a violent maniac who should not be anywhere near a television screen, even just by association. “I dont give a damn what animal bites my baby on the face… whether it be your dog or mine, a dog is a dog and I dont put up with that sh-t at all,” he wrote in a post defending his actions this week. “i’m all about protecting my family, it is my lifes mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me.” This would come across as less psychotic if Eason had been reacting to an emergent situation because Nugget was in the process of attacking little Ensley. However, Eason’s own video makes it clear no such thing happened — and there’s no reason why he couldn’t have simply decided to give the dog away to a shelter if he felt it was a danger to his child. You can hate me all you want but this isnt the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively,” Eason added. “The only person that can judge weather or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME. Eason is currently under criminal investigation for animal cruelty after officers visited his home on Thursday, yet didn’t feel safe walking on to a property with “No Trespassing signs” and a pit bull out front. They have asked the Sheriff’s Department to figure out the next move. Elsewhere, TMZ reports that Eason is also behind on child support payments to ex-girlfriend Olivia Leedham and that he could end up in jail as a result of this financial failure. Happy 8 months on Earth to Chelsea Houska’s adorable baby girl Layne! It’s hard to believe she is already 8 months old — I mean, it feels like Chelsea just pushed her out yesterday. But like it or not, this baby is growing up. Fast! On Tuesday night, Houska shared a sweet photo of daughter Layne Ettie laying next to a letter board ( you don’t say?) marking her age. She was dressed in a strawberry-print onesie and wore a matching plaid bow — yes, it’s the cutest thing we will probably see all week. “Guess who turned 8 months yesterday?!” Houska captioned the post. Everyone else was just as shocked to see that Layne was so close to turning a year old. Even fellow Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry commented with heart emojis, “It’s been 8 months already?! She’s precious.” Chelsea and husband Cole DeBoer welcomed Layne in August 2018 , on the very same day Chelsea celebrated her 27th birthday! They’re already parents to 2-year-old Watson and 9-year-old daughter, Aubree Lind-DeBoer, from Chelsea’s former relationship with ex Adam Lind. “Happy birthday to my sweet perfect wife Chelsea DeBoer who just gave our family this beautiful blessing!” the new dad wrote on Instagram at the time. “Sharing the same amazing day I am so in love with our family! Our newest addition Baby Layne!!” It seems the couple really enjoys parenthood … so much so that they are already thinking of having more babies! “We definitely want more kids — at least one — but I think we’re going to wait probably a little farther than the last two babies.” the MTV personality told E! News shortly after Layne’s birth. “Maybe when she’s 2, we’ll start thinking about it. But there will be more.” Well, that sounds promising! But for now — this close-knit fam seems pretty content. “I feel like [baby Layne] is like Cole. I think Aubree is like me and Watson and Layne are like Cole,” the mother-of-three shared about their family dynamic. And when it comes to the youngest of the Teen Mom 2 babies, Chelsea explains her as “very laid back. She’s easy, she’s smiley, she’s chill, very chill.” Aubree has been the best big sister to the newest addition as well! “Having Aubree’s help has been amazing,” Chelsea added. “She loves helping. She plays with her brother when I need her to. She can get his little boots on or something when we’re heading out the door so she’s been amazing.” As for DeBoer, he’s also been a blessing. “I mean, Cole is just great all around,” Chelsea gushed. “I’m more of the laid-back parent and he’s definitely more paranoid and worried all the time, which is funny because it’s usually the mom but I mean, he’s so helpful.” “He changes diapers. He gets in there. He does it all,” she said. After the family experienced a terrifying break-in at their brand new home a few months back — it seems like they’re finally recovering and getting back into their groove. We’re sure little Layne and her beautiful family members had the best 8-month day celebration and we hope she is enjoying all her newfound milestones by eating plenty of baby cereals and less of breast milk! Well, it’s official — Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are legally single according to court documents released in April. Sure it’s sad, but at times like this, it’s important to look to the future, or in Brad’s case — the distant past. Yes, we’re sure you’ve heard the rumors that Brad is back together with Jennifer Aniston . At first, these reports sounded like so much wishful thinking — nostalgic fans wanted these two to rekindle their romance, and now that they’re both divorced, the timing seemed perfect. Like so many others, we were quick to dismiss these rumors, but the more information that emerged, the more a reconciliation actually began to seem plausible. First, Brad admitted that he and Jen are talking again . Shortly thereafter, Pitt attended Aniston’s 50th birthday party . The latter move surprised some fans, as it was the first public indication of a friendship between the exes, and it was Jen, not Brad who was making the “bigger person” gesture. But apparently, Brad didn’t disappoint the birthday girl by showing up empty-handed. If you believe a new report from UK tabloid The Mirror , Brad “wanted to make a gesture to Jen that would go beyond her wildest dreams.” And he did so by repurchasing the house that the former couple lived in during their marriage and handing her the deed. According to The Mirror, Brad made the buy for a whopping $79 million (?!?!?!), and he surpsised Jen with the ridiculous gift at her birthday party. “When Brad and Jen split, losing their dream home worsened the heartache of their divorce and it was one of her biggest regrets not buying Brad out,” a source tells the outlet. We don’t even know where to begin with this one. Hopefully, we don’t have to tell you that it’s almost certainly BS. In all likelihood, some desperate tabloid hack was alerted to the sale and decided to cook up a little fan fiction. In a way, you have to admire the shamelessness. But in another way, you have to be sort of pissed that they manipulated our emotions like this.
