We have an update on the Gabriel Aubry arrest from yesterday: Halle Berry’s ex-boyfriend and current baby daddy made an enormous scene yesterday at the actress’ home Thanksgiving morning, getting into a scuffle with Olivier Martinez that landed both in the hospital and Aubry in jail. He was booked on charges of misdemeanor battery. After posting $20,000 bail, Aubry was released around 6:30 p.m. local time last night. He is due in court on December 13. Berry was present at the altercation and reportedly grabbed daughter Nahla as soon as it turned ugly, bringing into a room far away from the action. Many other witnesses were also on the scene. The Oscar winner is yet to release a statement.
Now boys… Gabriel Aubry And Olivier Martinez Arrested And Hospitalized After Fight At Halle Berry’s Home According to TMZ reports : Gabriel Aubry was arrested Thanksgiving morning after a melee at Halle Berry’s house, which sent both Gabriel and Halle’s fiance Olivier Martinez to the hospital … TMZ has learned. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … Gabriel showed up at Halle’s doorstep with Nahla for a custodial hand-off. We’re told Gabriel was inside the house when Olivier walked up to him and said, “We have to move on.” According to witnesses, Gabriel then pushed Olivier and threw a punch at his face, but Olivier blocked it and the punch struck him in the shoulder instead. We’re told Gabriel then pushed Olivier to the ground, and Olivier cold-cocked him in the face, and a struggle ensued, ending with Olivier pinning Gabriel to the ground. In the struggle, Gabriel suffered a broken rib, contusions on his face, and possibly a more serious head injury. Olivier may have broken his hand and suffered neck injuries as well. There are conflicting accounts as to whether Gabriel was rendered unconscious in the fight. Furthermore… Police were called and Olivier made a citizen’s arrest for battery against Gabriel. Gabriel was escorted to the ER and, ironically, Olivier went to the same ER an hour later. The two were just down the hall from each other. Law enforcement sources tell TMZ … a judge has issued an emergency protective order, which requires Gabriel to stay 100 yards away from Halle, Olivier, and Nahla. And finally, there’s this … specifics about the argument between Gabriel and Olivier are sketchy because they were trash talking each other in French. It’s pretty shocking — considering Gabriel was out with Nahla just last night for a movie date at the Grove. According to the latest update, Gabriel Aubry has been released from the hospital and is currently in jail facing charges. Aurora Dark Knight Shooter James Holmes Tries To Commit Suicide In Jail According to TMZ reports : James Holmes — the shooter in the Aurora movie theater massacre — was hospitalized after several “half-hearted” suicide attempts … this according to law enforcement. According to cops, Holmes ran headfirst into a jail cell wall on Tuesday … and while he sustained injuries … they were not life-threatening. Holmes also reportedly stood on the bed in his cell and fell backwards … in an apparent attempt to crack his skull open. He failed. Holmes — who killed 12 people and injured 58 more during his July 20 shooting rampage — has since been released from the hospital. Awwww, jail life is pretty tough huh azzhole? She says he did and now she’s suing for $5 MILLION in damages!?!? According to TMZ : More legal trouble for Katt Williams — the comic has just been sued for $5 million after allegedly socking his female assistant …. and causing her permanent injuries. Melissa Ishage filed the lawsuit in L.A. County Superior Court, claiming she’d been working as Katt’s personal assistant — but on October 6th, things suddenly went sour at Katt’s house … when Katt attacked her, punching her and causing her “serious and permanent injuries.” Melissa doesn’t explain why Katt flew into a rage — but claims she had to go to the hospital as a result of the beatdown … and now she wants at least $5 million from Katt to call it even. Melissa’s attorney tells us, his client claims Katt struck her in the head and knocked her to the ground. The lawyer says police were called to the scene but no one was arrested. George Wendt, 64, who played beer-guzzling Norm Peterson on the popular sitcom, checked into the hospital on Sunday. He was to play Oscar Madison in the stage production starting Nov. 9. Wendt is a Chicago native and performed in the city#39;s Second City comedy troupe. “George is family to us at Northlight and we wish him well for a complete and speedy recovery,” Odd Couple director B.J. Jones tells the Chicago Sun-Times. “He will be missed in the rehearsal room and on stage.”
