Lindsay Lohan was involved a bad car accident on the Pacific Coast Highway and is in the emergency room at an L.A. hospital, according to reports. She collided hard with an 18-wheeler and her car is totaled . The star, who has been filming her new movie Liz & Dick , saw her passenger window was shattered and the rear bumper torn off her car. Lohan did not go to the hospital by ambulance, sources say, although an ambulance was called to the scene and she went there afterward. No word on her condition, although she should come out of this fine, according to TMZ. Doctors are performing tests on the 25-year-old. Fingers crossed for Lindsay Lohan . Poor girl. According to TMZ sources, the model was staying in a different hotel room from Ray J on Sunday night, but popped in to check on her Prince Reigns campaign mate (we wonder why?!?) and found him on the floor, unresponsive. The following morning, he was hospitalized for exhaustion. A representative for Ray J told CNN that he was rushed to the hospital Monday to be treated for exhaustion and jet lag after returning from a 32-hour business trip to China, where he performed a show and attended meetings. The singer apparently made a four-hour drive to Las Vegas upon his return to host a party for Prince Reigns Hair Serum, and he was later found in his hotel room “extremely disoriented” and “out of it.” Ray J’s rep also made sure to point out that his hospitalization was not related to an incident that took place at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday night. Ray J, who dated Whitney Houston on and off for several years, was seated in the same section as the late singer’s family , which sparked trouble. Whitney’s sister-in-law Patricia Houston asked security to forcibly remove Ray J from the section, but he refused. “Pat ruined what was a great opportunity to honor the woman who I loved,” Ray J said later. There’s been no word yet on when Ray J will be released from the hospital. Since Whitney Houston’s death, he has been outspoken about his grief, admitting, “I really miss my friend, you know, I really do. I’m still hurting.” On Sunday night, Houston was honored with Billboard ‘s Millennium Award, which her daughter Bobbi Kristina accepted on her behalf , thanking fans for their support. People are really crazy: A mother who claimed her newborn son repeatedly stopped breathing was caught on a hidden camera in hospital allegedly trying to suffocate her baby. Katie Lewis had rushed her five-month-old son to hospital telling doctors the child would stop breathing, turn blue and then regain consciousness. Staff at the Children’s Hospital in St Paul, Minnesota, arranged for the child to be placed under observation for 24 hours in a room fitted with a video and audio monitoring system. They also performed a series of tests but could find no evidence to support 24-year-old Lewis’s claims about her baby. Lewis was told her son was being released from hospital as doctors could find nothing wrong. Staff reportedly became suspicious when Lewis insisted there was still something wrong with her baby. As a nurse watched on a video monitor Lewis allegedly tried to smother her son. She picked up her son, pinched his nose and held her hand over his to cut off his airways, a report says. According to an arrest report the boy kicked frantically and after 45 seconds went limp and unresponsive in his mother’s arms. When medical staff rushed into the room, Lewis told them, ‘His heart rate went down and he turned blue.’ Police were called to the hospital and in an interview with detectives Lewis said she ‘wanted to do something’ so that medical staff would help her child. She also admitted she ‘snapped’ due to the stress and frustration of bringing up her children. Lewis allegedly admitted to stopping her son from breathing on several occasions from February 12th. She said she was familiar with CPR and knew how little pressure was needed to cut off her baby’s oxygen supply. The young mother was charged with child endangerment, domestic assault by strangulation and third-degree assault. Prosecutors praise the quick thinking hospital staff. Dallas Police Ticket Transgender Woman For Using Ladies Room A Dallas transgender woman was issued a ticket for using the women’s restroom at an area hospital. Parkland police cited Paula Witherspoon, whose legal name is Paul Witherspoon, for disorderly conduct on April 25. “It was definitely humiliating, degrading,” she said. “I felt like I was being discriminated against.” A Parkland Hospital representative said the hospital received a complaint from a concerned female patient about a man in the women’s restroom. “This is 2012, and I’ve been transitioning since 2006, and I’ve never had a problem until I went to Parkland Hospital,” Witherspoon said. Witherspoon said she doesn’t even remember seeing anyone else in the restroom until she walked out. “There was a lady there that said, ‘That’s a man.’ I just ignored her and kept going,” Witherspoon said. Minutes later, a Parkland officer came over and cited her, she said. Witherspoon said she offered to show the officer a transition letter from her doctor that states, “She is expected to use facilities consistent with her external presentation, which is female.” But Parkland police told her they have to go by what is on her license, Witherspoon said. Under Texas law, Witherspoon must have acted “intentionally or knowingly for a lewd or unlawful purpose” to be cited with disorderly conduct. “I went to the bathroom, took care of my business, washed my hands and left,” Witherspoon said. “I didn’t even see anyone.” Parkland Hospital released the following statement: “Because of the complexity of the issue, the incident is currently under review. Parkland strives to treat patients, visitors and staff with dignity and respect, as well as provide a safe environment at all times.” Anti-discrimination laws in 16 states and the District of Columbia provide protections for transgender and gender non-conforming people, but Texas is not one of them, according to the New York Civil Liberties Union, which is calling for lawmakers in New York to pass legislation that will offer such protections.
