Kris Humphries recently said he’s not to blame for Kim Kardashian’s miscarriage scare. Now his family is speaking out, calling their union a “sham.” In an interview with The Sun (UK) , Kris’ uncle Mike and aunt Dedria open up about the 28-year-old NBA player’s relationship with the E! starlet. Simply put, “It was all a sham,” Dedria told the newspaper. “My understanding of marriage is that people give it more than 72 days unless there’s abuse. If somebody had duped me and used me in front of the whole world, I would be very angry.” As for why Kris Humphries is still fighting for an annulment as opposed to just getting divorced, she says, “An annulment says it wasn’t valid in the first place.” “She should admit that it was a sham at the very least.” Mike added that Kris wants more than just a clean slate. “I can just see him wanting a pound of flesh back. I believe he wants payback,” he said, adding that Kim’s mom, Kris Jenner, is behind the facade. “She’s the mastermind. You can just see that’s the brains making that thing go. The wicked part is she’s using her family. All of this is really due to her.” Kris and Kim, who split in the fall of 2011 (yes, 2011), are set for a May 6 divorce trial ; the Brooklyn Nets star wants an annulment on the grounds of fraud. Whether he has a case remains to be seen, but his former attorney allegedly quit because he doesn’t think there is enough evidence to back the claim. Kim Kardashian , how pregnant with Kanye West’s baby, is still pissed about the charade, though, which is probably half the battle as far as Kris is concerned. At least one tabloid report claimed that Kim’s recent miscarriage scare was due to Kris and stress over the divorce trial, a charge he vehemently denied.
