Anthony Bourdain is unafraid to speak his mind. Sometimes, the television star goes off on Paula Dean for being a hypocrite; and other times the target of his vitriol is American Airlines for delaying a flight because a passenger pooped on board. Wait… what?!? Bourdain made news this week when he Tweeted about his flight from Miami to Grand Cayman, at first confounded over what kind of “special situation” was responsible for such a delayed take-off. But the food lover then apparently learned the truth and informed followers: “Latest news is it took #AA two hours to admit [that] a passenger dropped a wet deuce on a seat. Need to change planes.” That happens, we suppose. Bourdain proceeded to tell fellow chef Andrew Zimmerman that he was “thinking about paying it forward. Especially after that airport panini,” with the hilarious/disgusting back-and-forth concluding when Virgin Airlines got involved: “We feel your pain @Bourdain,” American’s rival Tweeted. “The combo of a dropped deuce & AA service gives flying a bad name. Come w/ us next time!” Ah, Twitter. Who says nothing productive gets accomplished on there?

Allyn Rose will participate tomorrow night in the Miss America pageant. Win or lose, however, the Miss DC has a far more important agenda to take care of following the event: she is scheduled to undergo a double mastectomy. The 24-year old is doing so as a preventive measure to reduce her odds of developing the disease that took her mother, grandmother and great aunt. “My mom would have given up every part of her body to be here for me, to watch me in the pageant,” Rose said Wednesday. “If there’s something that I can do to be proactive, it might hurt my body, it might hurt my physical beauty, but I’m going to be alive.” The University of Maryland student plans to show off her roller skating talents during the annual event and then heed the advice of her father, who broached this idea two years after his wife passed. Rose’s mother was first diagnosed with cancer at the age of 27 and Allyn – who does NOT carry the “breast cancer genes” BRCA1 and BRCA2 – says she doesn’t want to wait to find out if she’ll follow tragic suit. If she wins tomorrow, she hopes to serve as a role model. “I’ve been thinking how powerful that might be to have a Miss America say, ‘I might be Miss America but I’m still going to have surgery. I’m going to take control of my own life, my own health care.’ So I guess it’s up to what happens on Saturday night.”
The news that Kanye West got Kim Kardashian pregnant nearly shut down Twitter, but the spawn of Kimye may only be the second most famous baby born in 2013. Kanye tells us to “Watch the Throne,” but try telling baby West to compete with the heir(ess) to it. Kate Middleton and Prince William also are expecting! With the exception of immense fame, these two supercouples have little in common. Their lives could not be more different, yet are equally scrutinized. Jennifer Lawrence and Nicholas Hoult broke up, according to Us Weekly . The couple mutually ended their two-year relationship very recently. The Hunger Games actress, 22, and Skins actor, 23, met on the set of X-Men: First Class in 2010; they played one another’s love interests in the film. Lawrence, who was recently named Most Desirable Woman of 2012 , hasn’t given any indication the relationship was heading south in recent interviews. “He is honestly my best friend, and hopefully I’m his best friend, too,” the Silver Linings Playbook star told Elle magazine in its December cover story. “He’s my favorite person to be around and makes me laugh harder than anybody.” Fortunately for Jen, she’ll have ample distractions in the next few months as she tries to move on from the breakup – it’s awards season in Hollywood. She’s among the 2013 Oscar nominees , and may even win one for her acclaimed performance alongside Bradley Cooper in the aforementioned film. Oakland Raiders linebacker Rolando McClain was pulled over yesterday for driving with strongly tinted windows. And then arrested for being a total moron. Rather than accept a simple citation for the violation, McClain reportedly wrote his name as “Fuck y’all” when handed a ticket by police in Decatur, Alabama. When asked to sign again, he told the officer “that is my name” and was then arrested forgiving a false name to the cops. Among other idiotic moves… In defense of the windows, McClain handed over a letter from a doctor that claimed he had “photosensitivity and needed maximum ultraviolet radiation protection to include window tinting,” but it was not written on a prescription form. Instead of giving his license and/or insurance information to the police, he simply said: “You know who I am.” Asked by The Decatur Daily if the police were out to get him, he replied: “Yes. You said it. I answered it.'” “I’m falsely accused of everything,” McClain added after posting $1,000 bail. “It’s corrupt. It’s terrible.”
