Kris Humphries Once Dominated Michael Phelps at Swimming

Kris Humphries is really bad at marriage. He proved this during the 72 days he served as the husband of Kim Kardashian . But it turns out that Kris Humphries was once REALLY good at swimming. Just how good? New evidence has emerged that shows Humphries was better as a child than two people who have a combined 39 Olympic medals between them: Michael Phelps and Ryan Lochte. Back in 1995, a 10-year-old Phelps recorded the year’s fastest 100-meter butterfly time for his age class in the United States. No surprise there, right? The guy has gone on to become the most decorated athlete in Olympic history. But did you know that Humphies recorded the the fastest times in six different events?!? Yes, SIX DIFFERENT EVENTS. According to charts dug up by KL Chouinard of Hawks.com, Humphries had the top time in the 50-meter freestyle… 100-meter freestyle… the 50-meter butterfly… the 50-meter backstroke… the 50-meter breaststroke … and the 200-meter individual medley. Phelps has won the last event listed above at each of past four Olympics. He has defeated every comer from around the globe at it. But he lost to Humphries back in the day. Way back in the day. But still. Although his national records have since fallen, Humphries still holds a dozen age-bracket records in the state of Minnesota. He’s really good at holding his breath, which may explain why it took him to long to smell something fishy was going on with Kim and her family. Back in 2003, Humphries touched on his shocking swimming past in an interview with People Magazine. “I was so good at a young age that I got a little burnt out,” he said. “I also grew up in the Michael Jordan era … for me, I watched [basketball] and saw it as a challenge. It’s hard to stay focused on something when you have a ton of success at a young age, so I picked up basketball a little later and rolled with that.” Can you imagine of Kris had stuck with swimming, however? He’s played 12 years in the NBA. He has a career scoring average of 6.8 points per game and 5.5 rebounds per game; perfectly respectable numbers. But he could have been the best swimmer in the history of the world if he had kept at it this whole time? And he likely never would have met Kardashian if that had been the case and he definitely would not be included on the following rundown of short celebrity marriages. It’s a trip to think about, isn’t it? And to think, all this time, we thought the only thing Kris Humphries was good at was being a total and complete douchebag.

Caitlyn Jenner Confirms Cancelation of I Am Cait

The many rumors have turned into an undeniable reality: I Am Cait will not be coming back for a third season. There’s been talk of E! canceling the reality series for some time now, but that talk has never emanated from any producers on the series of from Caitlyn herself. Until now. A short while ago, Jenner confirmed the news on Twitter. “After 2 amazing seasons of @IAmCait, it’s time for the next adventure. Thank you E! & thank you to the best girlfriends I could ask for,” she wrote. Here you go. In case you don’t believe us. I Am Cait debuted in July of 2015. It was announced by the step-father of Khloe, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian not long after she sat down for a special interview with Diane Sawyer in April of that year. It was during this interview that Caitlyn came out as Caitlyn, detailing to Sawyer (and a massive audience) her struggle to live life as her true self. I Am Cait received a rebuke from some critics that saw the show as an example of Caitlyn simply exploiting her new transgender lifestyle for money and fame. But it tackled some legitimate issues, bringing various LGBT problems to the forefront for the first time on national television. It was also very popular, with the premiere drawing 2.7 million viewers and a 1.2 demographic rating, on par with Keeping Up With the Kardashians  numbers. By the time I Am Season 2 came around in March, viewership had dropped off considerably; a mere 745,000 viewers tuned in for the first episode of what we can now confirm was the final season. But that doesn’t mean the show as a failure. Not by a long shot. It turned Caitlyn into a household name and it has opened up a number of opportunities not just for her, but for transgender individuals around the country. She has also found other outlets through which she can get across her message. Just this month, for instance, Caitlyn was a guest on HBO’s Any Given Wednesday. The statement concluded: “Caitlyn and E! have mutually decided not to move forward with another season at this time. “She will always remain a part of the E! family, and we look forward to continue following her journey as she appears on Keeping Up with the Kardashians.” So… what will be Caitlyn Jenner’s next adventure? Caitlyn Jenner is no fan of Hillary Clinton. Those who watch I Am Cait online are well aware of this fact after Jenner went off on the Democratic front-runner recently, referring to her as a f-ckin liar . So… what happened when Caitlyn actually met Hillary?! We'll find out on I Am Cait Season 2 Episode 4 . It airs on March 27 and it features Jenner and her friends paying a visit to Caitlyn's alma mater in Iowa. This gives them a chance to actually meet Clinton in her hotel following the Democratic debate at Drake University in Des Moines. “We're on the road dealing with trans issues across America,” Caitlyn tells the Hillary prior to introducing her friends, including a very awestruck Candis Cayne. “That's great,” Clinton replies. “I have to tell you, what's happening around the world deserves your attention. I just want you guys to have a great time and do great work.” Caitlyn agrees and says that's the goal of her and her team. The meeting basically ends there… until Hillary actually sends a message to Kim Kardashian and company. What does she have to say to Caitlyn's family, with whom she has posed for multiple selfies? I Am Cait Season 1 Episode 3 Recap: Caitlyn Finds Her Voice

On I Am Cait Season 1 Episode 3, Caitlyn Jenner weighed a number of heavy issues, but came away with a better sense of who she is in the end. Watch I Am Cait Season 1 Episode 3 Online We know Caitlyn has been worried about her voice, and how she sounds, in the literal sense, but in I Am Cait Season 1 Episode 3 , she tells us: “My voice is the last thing to worry about. It’s the words that come out.” This week’s episode referenced Caitlyn Jenner’s ESPYs speech , which was wildly popular; at the time this was filmed, that was 4-5 weeks away. Rather than speaking, Jenner knew she had to focus on listening. Case in point: Blossom, a transgender woman Jenner met at the Human Rights Campaign, who was denied entry into nursing school for being trans. For Caitlyn, this was a watershed moment in her transition. “I’ve lived a great life,” the former Bruce Jenner told the cameras, “and I realize in this transition that I kind of have that privileged status.” She may not share the experience of a typical transgender person and the struggles they face, but what Cait does have is a whole lot of heart. Jenner decided to have I Am Cait ‘s executive producer send Blossom’s story to Ellen DeGeneres, in hopes of spotlighting her story even more. Meanwhile, Jenner confided in friends Candis Cayne and Shandi Moore that she felt for the moment “extraordinarily comfortable” being herself. So much so that she began to dread the trip home; if you watch I Am Cait online , you know that “The Road Trip, Part 2” must soon conclude. But not before she wore her first ponytail while roller skating, and better yet, rocked a white swimsuit for the first time in front of her friends. “It did feel very freeing,” she said, despite all her hesitations about it. “Add I did see my reflection in the glass door. Looked pretty good.” As for the question of whether she is attracted to other women in swimsuits, that loaded question came up … is Caitlyn Jenner gay ?  She is and has always been attracted to women, she says, though she does admit some uncertainty and confusion. Not that it matters. “I’ve got bigger things to worry about than an orgasm,” Caitlyn says, though she is handling the weight on her shoulders a lot better. “I’ve probably learned more about me and about life than ever before in my entire life,” Jenner adds, and we can all salute to that. Caitlyn Jenner: Devastated By Low Ratings, Criticism From Transgender Community?

Caitlyn Jenner is reportedly upset by the already-declining ratings of her reality show I Am Cait, not to mention the criticism she’s faced. It’s not the Twitter trolls riling her up either – as she’s made it clear, she can take that. But the transgender community calling her out? Despite enormous hype, only half the people who tuned in to watch I Am Cait online or on E! returned for the second week of the show. Moreover, Jenner has been bombarded by harsh comments from outspoken members of the transgender community in recent weeks. A source tells Radar that “She is devastated!” “Caitlyn is extremely upset about the ratings and does not want to talk to anyone right now,” the insider says. “Not even her family.” All the while, she’s been assailed by transgender activists who say she is out of touch with the community she is trying to represent. Caitlyn’s solution? In true Jenner fashion, enlisting the help of the Human Rights Campaign and the power of her social media. Two days ago she posted on her Instagram page a photo of her and her HRC transgender allies, along with a caption that read: “Thank you so much for all of your questions! My friends at @humanrightscampaign helped me answer some of them.” Watch I Am Cait Season 1 Episode 2 Online She also linked to the HRC website, which reads: “On last night’s episode of I Am Cait , Caitlyn Jenner met with transgender activists and leaders, including HRC staff members.” She learned about the group’s struggles with “workplace discrimination, access to healthcare, anti-transgender violence and visibility.” This positive PR collaboration is no accident. Caitlyn Jenner-Kris Jenner Meeting to Be Featured on I Am Cait

Earlier this week, we reported that Kris Jenner and Caitlyn Jenner finally met face-to-face for the first time. The news came as a surprise to many, as Kris and Caitlyn had been feuding ever since the latter made her debut on the cover of Vanity Fair. Kris claimed that Caitlyn had lied to her about her desire to become a woman, and essentially carried on a 23-year sham of a marriage. If Kris really believes that was the case, what could possibly motivate her to forgive Caitlyn, or even offer her a chance to explain? Well, this is Kris Jenner we’re talking about, so the promise of a little free publicity did the trick nicely. Yes, sources connected to the show are now saying that Kris and Caitlyn’s meeting was filmed for an upcoming episode of I Am Cait. “Never wanting to miss an opportunity to further advance her public image, Kris knew it would be a good thing to have the reunion with Caitlyn filmed,” says one insider. “They were both in full hair and make-up, and dressed very fashionably.” The meeting was mutually beneficial, as it allowed Kris to rehab her public image – which has took a hit after she publicly bad-mouthed her ex – and it helped Caitlyn drum up some much-needed hype for her reality show. Ratings for the premiere of I Am Cait were a big disappointment, and if they don’t improve over the course of the season, Caitlyn could be facing the embarrassment of cancelation. In news that’s unlikely to surprise anyone, the encounter was scripted and rehearsed do that both ladies would leave the audience with a favorable impression: “Kris admitted that while she was still having a difficult time processing Caitlyn’s transition, she sees how happy she is, and in the end that is all that mattered,” said the source.
