Little Girl Sees Santa, FLIPS OUT

Ah, to be young and innocent again. To come up with what you believe is a reasonable plan to sell your little brother for $54 to a pet store. To casually sing the Imperial March in crib before falling asleep. To sit on your mother's shoulders and see a Christmas tree get lit up and then to see Santa Claus arrive on the scene and to FLIP THE EFF OUT in response. Sorry for sort of cursing there. This is an article about children, we know. But this little girl's reaction is just so gosh darn funny. “Took my 17 month old daughter to Liverpool one on 13/11/15 to see the lights being switched on,” wrote the mother as a description on YouTube. “They introduced Father Christmas and this was my little ones reaction. It's the first time she has seen Santa as she was too young last year.” We love it! We're sort of jealous that we stopped believing in Santa Claus (sorry, Father Christmas) a long time ago. It would be pretty awesome to have this sort of reaction to almost anything in life, wouldn't you? Check out the fun footage below and keep the imaginations of children alive for as long as possible, parents. Please…

Katee Sackhoff and Tricia Helfer’s Sci-Fine Calendar [VIDEO, PICS]

Back in 2004 there were two out-of-this-world babes on Battlestar Galactica that really got our rockets primed for blast off. Ok, that last part may have only been in our imaginations. Anyway, they’ve formed a charitable organization, Acting Outlaws , to raise money for various causes and one of the biggest moneymakers is their annual calendar featuring artsy shots of the two babes semi-clothed. More after the jump!

Friends Fans Out Of Luck With Movie Reunion

Definitely not taking a cue from Sex and the City , fans of long-time NBC sitcom will have to settle for re-runs, a new Blu-ray and their imaginations about what happened next to Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe and Ross. Some fans of the decade-long running show had clamored for a reunion, but Friends ‘ co-executive producer/director Kevin S. Bright said that another round is not in the works. “There is absolutely, 100 percent no talk about a reunion … there will be no ‘Friends’ movie,” Bright told TV Guide “It was made to be an intimate show in your living room. It wasn’t a broader show like many of the comedies today that are shot single-camera. It’s wonderful the way it is.” Running from 1994 – 2004, the popular show helped launch Jennifer Aniston (Rachel), Courtney Cox (Monica), Matthew Perry (Chandler), Matt LeBlanc (Joey) Lisa Kudrow (Phoebe) and David Schwimmer (Ross) who have also moved on to the big and small screens. “I don’t want to see old Joey,” LeBlanc told EW. “Everyone’s going to have different vision of what those characters are like, so to have that materialize is going to disappoint most people. A couple of people will go, ‘That’s what I thought!’ but for the most part it’s going to let people down. It’s better to let them just think.” But while a movie or some kind of reunion won’t spell out what happened to the Friends friends – though who can really ever say never as long as people are alive? – Bright did offer up what he imagines may have been the fates of some of the characters. “I’m hoping that Ross and Rachel, and Monica and Chandler, and Phoebe and Mike are still married and living happily ever after,” he said. “Monica and Chandler would be living in Westchester with three kids — twins via surrogate and one on their own – and Chandler would be the owner of his own number-crunching business…a WENUS organization, if you will. Rachel and Ross had another baby, a sibling for Emma; Joey’s a star after getting his big break; and Phoebe opened a chain of holistic spas across the country.” Friends: The Complete Series Blu-ray comes out Tuesday featuring all 236 episodes for the first time completely remastered. Jonathan Frid, Original Barnabas Collins In ‘Dark Shadows,’ Dead At 87

Actor’s cameo in Tim Burton’s big-screen adaption of soap opera will be his last onscreen appearance. By John Mitchell Jonathan Frid in 1988 Photo: Getty Images Actor Jonathan Frid, best known as the man who brought vivid life to one of the most iconic undead characters in TV history, vampire Barnabas Collins in the soap opera “Dark Shadows,” died on Friday at the age of 87. He died of natural causes after a fall at his home in Ancaster, Ontario, though his family chose not to release the news until now. Frid was a classically trained stage actor, who began his stage career after a tour with the Royal Canadian Navy during World War II. He studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London before going to receive a Master of Fine Arts degree in directing from Yale in 1957. His talents were a strange match for “Shadows,” but Frid’s training brought an unexpected subtly to his performance, capturing the imaginations of viewers, including Tim Burton and Johnny Depp, both of whom were rabid fans of “Shadows” when they were young and labored for years to turn the soap into a feature film . Playing a 200-year-old vampire who is unearthed in the late-1960s, Frid’s Barnabas was not a villain but a complex and often sympathetic antihero, who through the soap’s 1966-71 run continued to mourn the loss of his true love while trying to crave his bloodlust and protect his descendents from the evil witches and monsters that plagued their beloved family mansion, Collinwood. The big-screen version of “Shadows” is set to open on May 11 and is easily one of the most anticipated films of the summer. Frid shot a cameo for the film, marking his first film role since 1974’s “Seizure” (Olive Stone’s feature-directing debut). While on set in London, he got to spend time with Depp, who plays Barnabas, and as Frid’s “Shadows” co-star Kathryn Leigh Scott told The Wrap , both Depp and Burton were effusive with their praise for the actor and his most famous character. “Both Johnny Depp and Tim Burton looked at Jonathan and said, ‘We wouldn’t be here without you,’ ” Scott said. After being based in New York City for more than 40 years and working to great acclaim both on and off Broadway, Frid retired to Canada in 1994, though he continued to act, performing one-man shows for charities in both Canada and the U.S., and appearing at “Dark Shadows” conventions, which have only grown in popularity over the years. He reportedly always felt a close connection to “Shadows” fans and maintained a website so they could follow what he was up to. Frid’s cameo in Burton’s “Shadows” will be his last onscreen performance.
