Only a ignorant a$$hole thinks the Bible and racism go together… 16 Black Families In Ohio Find Bibles With Racist Langauge At Their Homes Via ZanesvilleTimesRecorder David Jones Jr. said he was excited to see a new Bible sitting on his front porch Monday morning. Then he looked inside and found what he describes as a “racial slur toward blacks,” written on the inside cover. A total of 16 black residents along North Mulberry and Springmill Streets and Vale Avenue received the marred Bibles on Sunday, according to the Mansfield Police Department. “At first I said good, because I can use another Bible, but when I opened it to see who it came from it just had a nasty statement in there,” Jones said. “I thought someone was saying it to me, but then I saw it on other porches, so I called police.” A few doors down, Lillian Webb had the same initial reaction. “I thought someone was trying to be funny, saying I need to read the Bible,” Webb said. “After I read (the slur), I thought, who would write that in a Bible?” Across the street, the Friendly House received three Bibles, director Terry Conard said. Bibles also showed up at two vacant houses on either side of Webb. Nine of the King James Holy Bibles were recovered Monday morning after Jones called in the complaint. Six more were found by police canvassing the area Wednesday. The same slur was “neatly” written in neon colors, according to victims. SMMFH @ “neatly” Police are classifying the act as ethnic intimidation, meaning the racial slur was meant to threaten and intimidate residents, Capt. Ken Coontz said. Those responsible could face menacing charges, a fourth-degree misdemeanor. If tied to ethnic motivations, the charge could increase the offense to a third-degree misdemeanor, or up to 60 days in jail, he said. The police are still searching for any clues that might help them find the person(s) responsible. We suppose this is better than a burning cross on your lawn, but it still has to be a little unsettling that this type of racism is still alive and kickin’ in 2013. Phil Jackson Said He Resented Kobe Bryant After Denver Sex Assault Accusations Via LATimes Phil Jackson’s memoir hit bookshelves Tuesday and in addition to talking life, Michael Jordan, and Zen, the 13-time NBA champion, the former Lakers coach spoke on how Kobe Bryant’s sexual assault case drastically changed the way he viewed #8. It’s coming out now, though, in Jackson’s 339-page memoir co-written with Hugh Delehanty and available Tuesday: “Eleven Rings: The Soul of Success.”… Jackson talked about how the sexual-assault charges levied against Bryant in 2003 temporarily changed his outlook on the perennial All-Star. It “cracked open an old wound” because Jackson’s daughter was the victim of an assault while on a date with an athlete in college. “Brooke expected me to get angry and make her feel protected. Instead I suppressed my rage — as I’d been conditioned to do during childhood by my parents … it left her feeling alone and unsupported. (In the end, after filing a report with the police, Brooke chose not to press charges.) “The Kobe incident triggered all my unprocessed anger and tainted my perception of him. … It distorted my view of Kobe throughout the 2003-04 season. No matter what I did to extinguish it, the anger kept smoldering in the background.” Charges were dropped against Bryant in 2004, a few months after the Lakers lost to Detroit in the NBA Finals. The coach-player relationship eventually improved to the point that Jackson defended Bryant after his infamous trade demand in 2007. Bryant was irritated after three languid seasons and wanted to continue his championship pursuits elsewhere. “No question, losing Kobe would be a blow to the organization and to me personally,” Jackson wrote of that summer. Via RadarOnline reports : Two of Brooke Mueller‘s multiple rehab stints occurred while she was pregnant with twins Bob and Max and married to Charlie Sheen, RadarOnline.com has learned exclusively. The startling information that Mueller used drugs while pregnant comes in the wake of her temporarily losing custody of the twins to Charlie’s ex-wife, Denise Richards. What’s more, Radar has learned from several sources that Brooke has been to rehab 20 times over the years. During Mueller’s pregnancy with Sheen’s twins, “she went to rehab twice because she was using drugs,” a source told Radar about the tragic situation. “Brooke’s two rehab stints consisted of less than 30 days. “It just shows how far gone Brooke is with her battle of using crystal meth. The fact that she couldn’t stay sober while carrying Bob and Max caused Charlie great anguish.” Mueller recently checked into the Betty Ford Clinic for a 30-day treatment stint, marking the 20th time she’s entered a treatment facility to seek help for substance abuse. As RadarOnline.com first revealed last week, Mueller and Sheen’s twins were taken away from her because of fears their mother’s drug use could endanger them. Richards was given temporary guardianship of the boys, with Sheen’s approval. That followed Mueller being placed on an involuntary psychiatric hold at the UCLA Medical Center. Meanwhile, the Los Angeles County of Department of Children & Family Services “has been made aware of Brooke’s rehab stints while pregnant. It’s truly amazing that she was able to hold onto custody of the boys for as long as she did. Brooke’s road to getting custody back of the boys is going to be very, very long,” the insider revealed. Dr. Joyce Brothers held an important place in popular culture. You will be missed. Dr. Joyce Brothers Dies According to TMZ Dr. Joyce Brothers — once considered the most famous psychologist on the planet — has died in NYC at the age of 85. Brothers became famous after winning “The $64,000 Question” game show in 1955 — the show that triggered the game show scandal in the ’50s. Brothers won by answering a series of questions on the subject of boxing — and although there was a lot of talk that producers slipped her the answers, it was never proven and Brothers emerged unscathed. The good doc went on to do countless television and radio appearances. She was always the go-to person for reporters when a criminal did something that defied logic. She also did cameo appearances in movies — including “Naked Gun” … and also appeared on TV shows like “C.H.i.P.s” and “The Love Boat.” Brothers was married to internist Milton Brothers since 1949 … he died in 1989 … and the couple had a daughter, Lisa. She had her own relationship advice TV show in New York by 1958 … and her books have been translated into 26 different languages. A rep for Brothers tells us she died after a long illness. Navy Officer Arrested For Pimping Girl According to Raw Story A Navy Petty Officer stationed in Lemoore, California is charged with sexually assaulting a 17-year-old girl and forcing her to have sex with multiple men. According to the Fresno Bee, Charles Ray Benavidez, 32, was arrested April 17, but police are coming forward now to solicit help from the public in their investigation. A Porterville Police Department spokesperson told the Bee that Benavidez met the teenager on a social networking site and, knowing that she was underage, traveled to Porterville, California to have sex with her. He made a second visit for similar purposes and on a third, forced the girl to have sex with a second man. Benavidez later transported the girl to his home in Lemoore where she was forced to perform sexual acts with multiple men. Benavidez reportedly filmed and distributed via the Internet. On April 17, a tipster alerted police about the crimes against the girl. Having secured a warrant, Porterville Police teamed up with Lemoore Police, a child sex crime specialist from the Tulare County, California and representatives of the Department of Homeland Security. The multi-agency squad searched Benavidez’ house, then proceeded to his place of work on the Navy Base and arrested him with help from the Navy Criminal Investigative Services. The Bee reported that Benavidez was booked into the Tulare County Jail on suspicion of pimping a minor over 16, possession of child pornography, using a minor for sex acts, unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor and possession of marijuana for sale, police said. The detectives heading the case are meeting with the California U.S. Attorney’s office to determine whether Benavidez can be charged with sexual trafficking of a child. Meanwhile, forensic investigators are analyzing the video and computer traffic in search other the other men who had sex with the underage girl. Anyone with information about the crime is asked to call Sgt. Ron Moore or Detective Harvey Dominguez at (559) 782-7400. We know those inmates will handle him in jail. Shutterstock

Get Your Life Together: Attention Slorin’ Amanda Bynes Gets Probation, Pleads No Contest In Suspended License Case

White girls stay winning. Amanda Bynes Pleads No Contest According to TMZ Amanda Bynes just pled no contest to driving on a suspended license. Amanda wasn’t in court, but her lawyer, Rich Hutton, was there as the judge took the plea. Amanda will be placed on 3 years probation, which requires her to obey all laws — and given her current state that may be a challenge. She was also warned NOT to drive without a valid license and insurance. She also must pay a $300 fine. As we reported, the charges were filed against the actress in September after she was pulled over in Burbank … and cops discovered her license was suspended. Police ticketed her and impounded her car. Amanda’s license had been suspended a couple weeks earlier because of two hit-and-run charges that were filed against her. The irony … those hit-and-run charges were later thrown out by a judge, after Amanda reached financial settlements with the victims. As for her other legal problems, she’s still got that DUI case going on. Which is nice. We give her four years before she overdoses. GSI

Air Force Man Charged With Groping According to The NY Post The Air Force’s top man in charge of sexual-assault prevention was busted for allegedly groping a woman in suburban Washington D.C., police said today. A drunken Lt. Col. Jeff Krusinski “approached a female victim in a parking lot and grabbed her breasts and buttocks,” according to a report by the Arlington County police. The alleged groping happened in the 500 block of 23rd Street in Crystal City at 12:35 a.m. yesterday, cops said. “The victim fought the suspect off as he attempted to touch her again and alerted police,” according to Arlington County cops. Krusinski, 41, of Arlington, Va., was removed from his position as head of the branch’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office, Air Force spokeswoman Natasha Waggoner said. “This report is extremely disturbing. It is clear that the status quo regarding sexual assaults in the military is simply unacceptable,” said US Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY). The New York lawmaker said she’ll propose reforms next week, aimed at taking decisions on sexual assault cases outside the normal chain of command. “We have to reform how the military handles sexual assault cases and take on the culture that perpetuates this kind of behavior,” said Gillibrand, who held hearings in March on sexual assaults in the military. Krusinski, booked on suspicion of misdemeanor sexual battery, posted a $5,000 bond and was released. He did not know the victim, cops said. It wasn’t immediately clear why Krusinski had the cuts and bruises on his face in his booking mugshot. Krusinski’s arraignment is set for Thursday. The Air Force, on its Web site, described the Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Program as a program that “reinforces the Air Force’s commitment to eliminate incidents of sexual assault through awareness and prevention training, education, victim advocacy, response, reporting and accountability.” The description continues: “Sexual assault is criminal conduct.
