Freeway Undergoes Successful Kidney Transplant Surgery

Source: @Justinmyview / R1 Digital Back in 2015, Philly rapper Freeway announced he was diagnosed with End Stage Renal Disease . It’s the highest level of chronic kidney disease that affects the organs’ ability to purify the body’s blood. Free entered hemodialysis to keep his kidneys functioning and now he’s been given the green light to attain a new kidney. In a statement issued to The Source , Freeway’s management team confirmed that his surgery was a success. “He is now in recovery,” the statement reads. “He thanks you all for your prayers!!!” On Freeway’s end, he posted a video to his Instagram account of him prepping for surgery at the hospital. “I’m going under now!” he wrote. “Thanks for all the love & support! Pray for me!!” Since his diagnosis, Free has been devoted to organizations dedicated to assisting those with conditions like his. He’s partnered with the National Kidney Foundation and the American Kidney Fund. In 2016, the National Kidney Foundation reported that African American make up over 35 percent of people who use dialysis to treat kidney failure. Health conditions such as diabetes and high blood pressure are also contributors to kidney failure. The Bachelor: Colton Underwood Claims His 2-Night Finale Is Unlike Anything Else!

Things are finally heating up on Colton Underwood’s season of The Bachelor . And I’m not just talking about Colton and Cassie’s intimate make-out sesh in the ocean, which we all uncomfortably witnessed Monday night. Even Cassie’s dad!  The Californian native shared a story to her Instagram, zooming in on her father who was sitting in front of the TV watching every obnoxious, yet charming kiss. Awkward? I think so.  But honestly, before Cassie scored that one-on-one date in Thailand, the show was bland, to say the least.  While most of the girls are successful at coming up with bullsh-t drama, we’re ready for something way more exciting… the magic of true (televised) love!  And… I think we’re getting there.  The former football star tells ET’s Leanne Aguilera of ABC’s Winter Television Critics Association that we should all prepare ourselves for the finale.  Consider us warned. But come on, it can’t be any crazier than Arie Luydendyk Jr.’s shocking season where he literally switched girls after popping the question.  According to Colton, however, his ending has got it beat and is “going to take a while to process.” That’s fine. What else would you be doing on your Monday night besides drinking wine and conversing over trash TV?  Let’s be real, it’s our favorite sport.  “As the weeks progress, it gets more real and more real, and I think not only for me but for these women too,” shares Colton.  12 women are left to compete over the 26-year-old’s heart… and yep, still his virginity .  But calm down, we still have three more episodes until fantasy suites where Colton can choose to spend the night with his four final contestants.  Colton gets us excited for the following episodes by claiming his ending is “unlike anything else” and that we are all in for a “wild ride.” The Bachelor stud also opens up about how emotional this season really gets, sharing that he even decided to leave the series at one point.  The two-night finale will air on March 11 and 12.  Colton wrapped it up by saying, “we will see what I’m shouting at the end off the rooftops, but I hope at the end of it, you can know that I’m happy. So we’ll see.”  Maybe we should be preparing ourselves for the dreaded outcome that Colton may choose no one? Facebook Rolls Out New Feature That Allows You To “Unsend” Messages

It’s 2019, so of course you have. Fortunately, Instagram allows its users to “unsend” a message, as long as the recipient hasn’t opened it yet and moving forward, Facebook will give you a 10-minute grace period to “remove” messages you sent another user. Obviously, you should still think twice before you hit the “send” button, but at least you’ve got a chance to fix any future lapses in judgment. Mashable reports: “Facebook Messenger is finally rolling out the unsend button it promised nearly a year ago. The feature is in the latest version of the Messenger app on iOS and Android, Facebook said Tuesday.” “In order to exercise your newfound message deletion powers” the site explains, “all you have to do is tap on a message in a conversation and select ‘remove.’ The app will then ask if you want to remove the message for everyone or just for you (the latter keeps the message visible to other participants, while hiding it from your view). There is, however, one important catch: you only have a 10-minute window to delete your messages. Once ten minutes have elapsed, you’re stuck with your embarrassing typo-ridden messages forever.” According to the site, Facebook started working on the new feature last April after “it was reported that a number of Zuckerberg’s old Facebook messages had mysteriously disappeared from the recipients’ inboxes years after the fact”…the same could be said for a number of executives. In a statement to Tech Crunch , the company issued an explanation, saying “After Sony Pictures’ emails were hacked in 2014 we made a number of changes to protect our executives’ communications. These included limiting the retention period for Mark’s messages in Messenger. We did so in full compliance with our legal obligations to preserve messages.” Almost a year later, us regular degular folks have finally reached Mark Zuckerberg status—sort of. You won’t be able to remove old messages, but you’ve got a shot at avoiding humiliation moving forward, with Mashable stating the feature is “not retroactive like it was for Zuckerberg. So, if you were hoping to clear out your cringeworthy chat history from years back, you’re going to be out of luck.” If you use Facebook Messenger,  chime in and let us know what you think about the new feature. If you’re a cable news junkie then you’ve seen Malcolm Nance airing out the truth about Donald Trump and his shady regime for years now. Yo! LMFAO! Long live Huey and Riley! Even Nicole Wallace was brought into The Boondocks world. Aaron made it pretty clear that we might not get this again or regularly, but damn are we happy to at least have The Boondocks back for the moment.

He announced on his Instagram Monday that he will go on tour celebrating the 20th Anniversary of his debut album, I t’s Dark and Hell is Hot.  DMX was still serving time on the actual 20th Anniversary date (May 12, 2018). At some point over the past year, Kendall Jenner became the most overlooked member of Kardashian clan. As a world-famous runway model who dates NBA stars and travels the world walking runways and posing for high-end fashion magazines, she would easily be the most envied member of most families. But Kendall’s sisters are offering up some seriously stiff competition for the spotlight. Kim is still Kim, and she’s married to the celeb world’s most manic weirdo. Khloe welcomed her first child last year, and her relationship with Tristan Thompson remains a source of constant soap-caliber drama. Kourtney’s love life also remains a subject of constant fascination, particularly as she and baby daddy Scott Disick attempt to re-live their twenties by banging people who are not yet old enough to purchase alcohol. And then there’s Kylie, who in addition to welcoming her first child is officially well on her way to becoming the world’s youngest billionaire. The pic racked up more than 4 million likes in just 24 hours. Many of Kendall’s high-profile friends commented on the pic, including Jonathan “Foodgod” [insert eye-toll emoji] Cheban, who remarked: “This will get higher ratings than the Super Bowl.” Kendall looks good, there’s no doubt about it. Which is why Cheban shouldn’t do her pic such a tremendous disservice by comparing it to Super Bowl LIII! 21 Savage’s Alleged Birth Certificate Surfaces

21 Savage has had an interesting weekend. He was detained by United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement for allegedly being a U.K resident while living in the United States. The rapper has always been thought to be a Atlanta native but now the United States is saying otherwise. 21  An ICE spokesperson said that he was actually from the U.K. and falsified his entire public persona. Now, the rapper’s alleged birth certificate has emerged which indicates that he was indeed born in the U.K. The Daily Mail Online  published a photo of 21 Savage’s birth certificate earlier today. The document confirms that he was born at Newham Hospital in East London. The outlet also said that the birth certificate confirmed that 21 Savage lived in England for 12 years before he moved to Atlanta with his mother. Here’s a look at the alleged certificate: According to the Daily Mail the rapper has a set of twin sisters in London. The twins allegedly deleted all their pictures of their “brother” in fear of him being deported. His lawyers believe that ICE is attempting to “unnecessarily punish him.” He also claimed ICE is trying “to intimidate him into giving up his right to fight to remain in the United States.”
