In a teaser clip for T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle , Toya expressed her concerns about Reginae and Lucci’s relationship. “I don’t like the age difference,” Toya said. “I don’t like the fact that he have four kids because I mean, you trying to be stepmom, honey?” Reginae, 19, is nine years younger than Lucci and the couple often display their romance on social media. Toya knows first hands the struggles of dating a man in the industry and warned her daughter about the lifestyle that comes along with it. “You know how I feel about that whole rapper thing,” she added. “I dated your dad when I was younger than that and there’s a whole lot that comes with that lifestyle. And that’s the last thing I want or any mother want.” Despite her mother’s cautionary experience with love, Reginae is enamored by Lucci and professed her love for him, earlier in the interview, saying, “I really like him. He’s sweet and livin’ life. Livin’ our best life.” The clip was a preview of what’s to come on T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle and we can’t wait. For those who haven’t seen the movie , the incredibly talented 19-year-old shared a quick synopsis: “It’s based on this incredible book, by Angie Thomas, about this girl named Star who is code-switching between two different environments—her neighborhood, which is Black and lower income, and the school that she goes to, which is White and privileged. She kind of has to confront who she is and if she’s willing to speak up once this tragic event happens. She is pulled over with her best friend in her neighborhood, by a White police officer, and the police officer thinks that he’s reaching for a gun, when he’s really reaching for a hairbrush—and he shoots him and kills him.” “It follows the trial as these different communities internalize what that means. Her safety is kind of compromised and she has to make the decision to stand up for her community.” When asked by Ryan Seacrest, “What’s been the reaction from teenagers and young adults?” Amandla responds: “Man, it’s been amazing. I mean, it’s been really emotional for sure…especially for Black girls who feel really represented by it and validated by it, which is exactly how I felt when I read the book. It’s amazing.” Amandla also explained the meaning behind her strong, yet adorable , name: “Amandla means ‘power’ in Xhosa and Zulu. It was a part of an anti-apartheid rallying cry in South Africa.” As for whether or not being named “power” makes her feels any added pressure, the rising star’s response couldn’t have been better: “I guess it’s like a prophecy. On Sunday, September 30 Los Angeles squared off against Denver in their preseason opener at the Staples Center. From the beginning of the game ‘Bron made it clear he wants prime billing on The Lake Show. As ESPN noted his first official contribution to the team came in the form of a no-look assist bounce pass to Brandon Ingram which led to a slam dunk. James’ first points were also in superstar fashion as he sank a three-pointer from 26 feet away. He finished the night with nine points, three assists, and three rebounds. The three-time champion took to Instagram to commemorate his first outing on the new team. “Can’t even front, it’s just felt different! Goosebumps! #striveforgreatness #thekidfromakron “. He went on to detail his excitement in a post-game interview. “It always feels different for me anytime you change uniforms,” he explained. “It felt different when I changed from a St. Vincent-St. Mary jersey to a Cavs jersey, from a Cavs jersey to a Heat jersey, back to a Cavs jersey and now being a Laker. So, it definitely feels different, and it’ll take a little bit of time getting used to.” The Lakers play their first official game of the 2018-2019 NBA season on October 18 against the Portland Trailblazers. Bridget is trying to calm Teairra down but she doesn’t want to be bothered. Bridget confronts Brooke about bogarting her interview in the first place and Brooke offers Bridget a disingenuous apology but she really could care less . Nikki jumps in defending Brooke, and tells Bridget to hire a better PR team. No one really seems to care that what Brooke did was trash. However, they still move past it. Teairra Mari comes out of the room to join them but then she and Moniece get into it. Moniece tells her to go back to rehab and… That riles TT up too. Plus, she’s also mad because Moniece didn’t tell her that her friend hooked up with Akbar. This conversation happens in front of the other girls so they add their input (that no one asked for), which only annoys Moniece even more and makes her feel ganged up on. We all knew this trip was going to be drama though. Back in Hollywood, A1 and Lyrica try to force their mothers to get on the same page for the sake of their impending child. So, they got them a beach house for the weekend and force their moms to be roommates while they stay at a beach house down the street. It already doesn’t start off well because we already know these moms’ beef is on sight. They immediately start roasting each other as soon as they see each other. Hold that thought. Back in London, the ladies try to keep it classy by going to an English High Tea and learn how to drink it with the pinky up, but you know how well these ladies and class go together. These bird brains start playing a game of “Never Have Ever” and Brooke asks Nikki if it’s true that she slept with Solo Lucci. Nikki says she didn’t and is pissed off that this rumor is even out there. Then Moniece jumps in and calls Brooke out on her endless messiness, especially because she or someone in general usually pulls this type of stuff when they’re in settings under the pretense of unity. It’s always uncalled for but then again, there’d be no show if they didn’t work so hard. Back at the beach house, Lyrica G initiates a surprisingly talk with Pam. There is some back and forth at first. It’s the usual, your son did this, your daughter did that, but they eventually manage to get on the same page and even go kick it on the beach! But don’t hold your breath. More on this in a second. Now we’re back in London at Bridget’s show. Brooke performs new music and reconnects with her fans across the pond. La’Britney opens for her and that part goes well. The ladies kick it after the show and Nikki decides to leave them and go back home. She’s tight from the high tea drama and the general drama and would just rather be with her family in LA. At least she knows they’re not going to gang up on her. The episode winds down with the aunties (Lyrica G and Pam) back on the beach. Things go downhill swiftly when Pam mentions she wants to get a DNA test. Lyrica G gets offended and says this is a low blow, especially since she was supposed to have moved past this. Pam says she just needs assurance, which makes sense because A1 and Lyrica were separated for a couple of weeks, talking about getting a divorce and these rumors swirling are heavy. But Lyrica G ain’t trying to hear that so she rides for her daughter. Eventually, they start bickering back and forth, you know how they do, and then Pam tries to swing on Lyrica G and all hell breaks loose. That good Love and Hip-Hop Hollywood security keeps them from putting the paws on each other but it doesn’t matter. They get right back to calling each other all kinds of b—hes and h–s and this beef is back to on sight status. Bridget Kelly has a big fan base in London, new music to promote and a show but she decided to make a bigger spectacle of it by inviting her girls. It’s La’Britney, Moniece, Teairra Mari, Brooke, Paris, and Nikki. But the thing is, some of these women are plus ones and you already know there’s tension in the overall group. Teairra is annoyed with Paris and Nikki because she feels like they deserted her when it came to her sex tape drama. Teairra doesn’t really rock with Moniece like that because she feels she deserted her back when she was going through rehab. Moniece doesn’t rock with Paris. La’Britney and Moniece don’t rock with each other, and Brooke is Brooke so you already know she was talking smack to the rest of the girls about last week’s studio situation with RoccStar and Moniece. In other words, you never know how this is going to go. via GIPHY Once the girls get settled in London, La’Britney doesn’t hesitate to call Moniece out for spreading rumors about her allegedly sleeping with A1. Moniece said that she was just repeating what she heard from someone else. It was Lyrica who said that. Remember when Lyrica was pissed that A1 and La’Britney were working together and she just assumed that their relationship was more than just business? Yeah, that. But anyway, La’Britney then says she heard that Moniece slept with K. Michelle. via GIPHY Moniece says that she and K. Michelle are good friends but the only box she’s munching on is her girlfriend AD’s. That don’t mean she never got it on with K. Michelle though. Anyway, back to their little discussion, it surprisingly doesn’t escalate and they eventually seem to get over it. La’Britney basically explains (later on) that she only slid into A1’s DM’s for business purposes and makes the good point: DM’s is how a lot of people, especially in entertainment, especially millennials, create amazing opportunities to secure the bag. In fact, the entire trip thus far is actually okay-ish. There’s tension but no one is throwing drinks and tugging hair…for now. Teairra even seems to get back on the right track with Moniece and Paris. Nikki is kinda just there. Back to Bridget Kelly. She has a press day (at the home they’re staying in) since she’s actually in London because she has a show coming up and to promote new album, Reality Bites . Enter Brooke. So… Brooke bogarts Bridget’s interview because y’all know she does that. In her mind, she was spicing up the interview because Bridget was being boring (but in reality, Bridget was actually being professional). So she steps into the mix talking about she’s still alive (because no one has really heard from her musically since “Girl Fight”) and plans on coming out with new music. Then she brings La’Britney into the mix. La’Britney is actually working with Lady Leshurr . The latter is a rapper from the UK and she’s dope (do your Googles if you’re not familiar). That’s cute and all, but this isn’t La’Britney’s interview. Then Teairra comes out just to tell the girls that the chicken she was making was almost ready and of course the reporters drag her into the interview. She doesn’t want to be a part of the interview but sits down anyway, as if she really didn’t have a choice in the matter. And of course, they ask her about the sex tape. TT is annoyed by that question and then another reporter asks where they can see it. Now that’s just rude! Teairra storms back into the house. Bridget follows behind her to make sure she’s okay. She’s also pissed that Brooke derailed the whole interview before she could even talk about her new music. TT locks herself in her room and doesn’t want to be bothered. That’s that. Next week Bridget will call out Brooke for her thirsty behavior and it looks like Solo Lucci and Marcus will be joining the fun in London. According to 11Alive , an unidentified Atlanta-area family living in Clayton County was awarded $31 million after suing the midwife, Life Cycle Pediatrics, Life Cycle OB/GYN for malpractice. The family’s newborn baby, DJ, was circumcised by the shaky-handed midwife who cut him a bit too much which lead to much bleeding. Somehow those who worked at the medical facility believed the child only had a small cut that would heal. Because they didn’t immediately perform surgery on the baby, all parties involved were found responsible in some form and the jury returned with a multi-million dollar verdict. DJ was born in October of 2013 and will likely need several more surgeries as he grows up. Fellas, would you trade a proper peen for $31 million?

Brooke & La’Britney Crash Bridget Kelly’s Interviews On “Love & Hip Hop Hollywood” Brooke Valentine and La’Britney made some shady moves on the upcoming episode of LHHH. After their friend Bridget Kelly invited them to London while she went on a press tour, the two singers crashed her interviews with the British press. According to the two, Bridget’s interviews were too “boring” and they just HAD to spice things up—and steal her shine in the process. Brooke sat down with the press and told them she’s coming out of retirement while also randomly mentioning that she conceived her son in London. As for La’Britney she made sure to plug her own album before she agreed with Brooke’s shady suggestion that she open up for Bridget on tour. Look. At. Bridget’s. Face. She’s clearly wondering why she invited her “friends” to London in the first place. Later Teairra Mari will jump into the interview and get blindsided by a question about THAT sex tape that leaked on Instagram.
