By Mawuse Ziegbe Michael Jackson Photo: Michel Linssen/Redferns If you’re over checking out the late Michael Jackson ‘s signature moves in old video footage, soon you’ll be able to experience the King of Pop’s swagger in a whole new way. Gaming company Ubisoft has announced that it is launching a video game based on Jackson’s legendary music and performances. The game will be built on MJ’s singular dance style, and players will be able to groove along to mega-hits like “Billie Jean” and “Beat It.” According to a Ubisoft statement posted on MichaelJackson.com , gamers will get the chance to learn and re-create some of Jackson’s dance moves. A Ubisoft rep confirmed to MTV News that while there is no title for the game as of press time, the game should be available later in the year, in time for the holiday season. The company is staying mum on many of the details, but when asked whether the Jackson game would be accompanied by unique gaming hardware like the “Dance Dance Revolution” dance pad or “Rock Band” guitar, the rep told MTV News via e-mail that “the game is based upon performance (so both singing and dancing).” Ubisoft worked with the executors of the Michael Jackson estate in the creation of the game. Estate co-executor John Branca said that fusing gaming with music is consistent with Jackson’s game-changing legacy. “Michael always pushed every limit when it came to technology to give his fans unforgettable entertainment experiences, whether it involved his videos, his recordings or his concerts,” Branca said in the statement. Co-executor John McClain agreed: “This game is a natural extension of what he would be doing today to raise his artistry to even greater heights for his fans of all generations.” The Jackson game will be available for Nintendo Wii, Nintendo DS, Xbox 360 (with the new Kinect device ), PlayStation 3 with PlayStation Move support and PSP. Dr. Conrad Murray to Keep Medical License For Now; Joe and Katherine Jackson Attend Hearing

A judge ruled that the embattled Dr. Conrad Murray will be allowed to continue to practice medicine in California while awaiting trial on manslaughter charges. On Monday, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Michael Pastor declined to grant a request by California authorities to suspend Murray’s license indefinitely. Dr. Murray’s attorneys fought the restriction, arguing that it would prompt authorities in Texas and Nevada, where he also practices, to take similar action. Murray, who is charged with involuntary manslaughter in the June 25, 2009 death of Michael Jackson, has been ordered not to use anesthetics on patients. The most surprising development Monday was the arrival of Michael Jackson’s parents, Joe and Katherine, who then sat next to each other in the front row. The doc is still in. Who’d be treated by him is another stor y. The Jackson patriarchs didn’t speak to each other much, according to reports, and Joe appeared to have dozed off at one point. Nevertheless, it was a shock. After all, Joe said over the weekend that Katherine Jackson is to blame for Michael’s death, since they were so close and she did not do enough to intervene. Then again, Murray will argue Michael Jackson killed himself , so he’s not the only one finger-pointing. Joe throwing his own wife under the bus, though? Wow. Despicable stuff, but apparently not enough for her to cut him out of her life. Jermaine, Randy, and LaToya Jackson also attended the hearing, reports CNN. Yesterday’s hearing was held only to determine whether Murray could maintain his California medical license, and did not directly concern the criminal case. The judge set August 23, 2010, as the date for the start of Murray’s preliminary hearing to determine if he will stand trial on the manslaughter charge. The prosecutor said that hearing could last a week. Joe Jackson surfaces in court. No new accusations this hour .

Michael Jackson’s Mom Katherine Responds To Joe Jackson Accusations

‘The world knows Mrs. Jackson has always been a loving and caring mother,’ her lawyer says in a statement. By James Montgomery Katherine Jackson Photo: Aaron Lambert/ Getty Images As the one-year anniversary of Michael Jackson’s death approaches, the war of words between his parents continues to get messy. On Sunday, in a video posted on the website of Britain’s News of the World newspaper, Jackson’s father, Joe, tells a reporter he blames his wife (and Michael’s mother), Katherine, for their son’s death, because she didn’t come to Michael’s aid when he needed her the most. “Mothers [are] always the one the son looks up to. I wanted her to step in and go in and say, ‘Look, Michael,’ a bit … keep him cheered up, because, you know, if your mother’s around you, the son, I would think, would feel better,” Jackson said. “But she didn’t want to do that, because she was afraid that she was invading his privacy … and we argued about that several times. “[I said] ‘Katherine, if you don’t go see him, he won’t be with us too long,’ ” Jackson continued. “I thought he was looking kind of funny and frail a little bit. I told her, ‘This would have not have happened if you had been with him awhile because he would have been more relaxed. By you being with him, things would’ve went much better than what they did. We gone lost our son now.’ ” On Monday (June 14), a spokesperson for Katherine Jackson responded to those allegations, calling them — and Joe Jackson’s actions — “outrageous.” “Joe Jackson’s statements and conduct toward Mrs. Jackson are outrageous,” Katherine’s attorney, Adam Streisand, said in a statement to “Access Hollywood.” “The world knows Mrs. Jackson has always been a loving and caring mother and grandmother, and she had a very special relationship with Michael. The world also knows who Joe Jackson is and he seems bent on never letting us forget.” Michael Jackson died on June 25 after suffering cardiac arrest at his Hollywood mansion. The Los Angeles County coroner’s office ruled that the 50-year-old singer died of “acute propofol intoxication,” in combination with the use of sedatives. Authorities have since claimed that his personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, administered a lethal dose of the anesthetic to Jackson in and attempt to help him sleep. Murray was charged with involuntary manslaughter in February and has since pleaded not guilty in the case . Do you think Joe Jackson’s allegations were out of line? Let us know in the comments. Dr. Arnie Klein Rips "Nonsensical" Joe Jackson

Dr. Arnold Klein, Michael Jackson’s close friend, has come out swinging against Joe Jackson, claiming Michael’s father is a guy who cares only about money. Klein was responding to claims Joe made about Michael’s mother and how Katherine was responsible for Michael’s death when he told TMZ the following: “Michael was very close to Katherine, but Joe talked to him too, but all Joe ever wanted to talk about was business. Everything Joe utters is nonsensical.” Pretty much. Joe claims that he warned his estranged wife about Michael’s failing health last year, but she was afraid of violating his privacy and refused to intervene. Dr. Arnie Klein, left, and Michael Jackson’s father Joe . Arnie has made numerous headlines in the past year, first as the rumored biological father of Michael’s children, then more recently for backing up Jason Pfeiffer’s claim that Michael Jackson was gay and that Pfeiffer had an affair with him. Now, however, the singer’s confidant and former dermatologist is growing increasingly tired of all things Michael and wishes he could finally rest in peace. Klein says he’s over the drama: “I’m no longer interested in the Sodom and Gomorrah show on Havenhurst (the family home). My main concern is the welfare of the children, especially Michael’s, and the preservation of Michael’s memory.”
