The Disney starlet and ‘That ’70s Show’ alum reignite dating rumors. By Alex Chapman Demi Lovato Photo: Jason Merritt/Getty Images Rumors are sparking up again that former “That ’70s Show” star Wilmer Valderrama, 31, and post-rehab Demi Lovato , 18, are dating. The twosome have most recently been spotted on a movie date in Sherman Oaks Galleria’s Arclight Cinemas in Los Angeles, as well as at a Whole Foods, according to Perez Hilton . Talk of a romance between the two first surfaced before Lovato entered treatment in the fall for “emotional and physical issues.” But in November, Wilmer’s rep denied the rumor to Celebuzz . Valderrama has been linked with his fair share of young starlets in the past, including the ineffable Lindsay Lohan. In fact, Wilmer made headlines in 2006 for blabbing to radio host Howard Stern about his array of female encounters, including Ashlee Simpson, Jennifer Love-Hewitt and Mandy Moore. Whether or not Wilmer’s wild ways have subsided is still up for debate, but the tabloids haven’t put the Venezuelan actor in a bad light for some while. The actor has even guest-starred on Disney’s “Wizards of Waverly Place,” where he played the uncle of Lovato’s BFF Selena Gomez. Meanwhile, Lovato, who completed her treatment in late January, is slowly but surely getting back to where she left off, which hopefully means she will return to her Disney show, “Sonny With a Chance,” soon. The songstress, who premiered her new song “Born This Way” on Friday, hit the Grammys in a semi-see-through egg that seemed like something of an arty reference to that song’s title. Outdoing the space-age Armani Prive getup she wore to last year’s Grammys, Gaga was in the egg as she emerged from a truck and was carried by four men in yellow boxers and dresses to the carpet. Her Twitter page gave a bit of insight into what Gaga might be up to on Sunday. “This is Nicola, Haus of Gaga: Gaga is in incubation,” stylist Nicola Formichetti tweeted on the singer’s page. “Tonight’s performance is in collaboration with Hussein Chalayan and House of Mugler. X” Formichetti also wrote about Gaga’s big arrival on his own Twitter account. “Grammys red carpet,” he tweeted. “Lady gaga wears Mugler by nicola formichetti . Womb by hussein Chalayan. Gaga’s pryers are in haus of gaga in collaboration with Mugler. My baby is been born.” Lady Gaga is set to perform her new song live during the Grammy telecast. The singer is up for six awards on Sunday night including Album of the Year, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, Best Pop Collaboration With Vocals, Best Pop Vocal Album, Best Dance Recording and Best Short Form Music Video. Lady Gaga Rep Debunks Leaked Song Rumor

‘The reported leak is not a Gaga record,’ rep tells MTV News about ‘Animal.’ By Jocelyn Vena Lady Gaga Photo: Jason Merritt/Getty Images When a new tune called “Animal” hit the Internet on Friday (January 14), many fans believed that the song was a Lady Gaga leak. Its thumping beat, dance-floor-inspired melody and lyrics about sex could easily be features of a Gaga track. And indeed, the website hosting the alleged leak labeled it a Lady Gaga song. But fans should know that “Animal” is in fact not a Lady Gaga song. “The reported leak is not a Gaga record,” a rep for the singer told MTV News. On the leaked track, a woman who sounds vaguely like the pop star sings, “I can see the way that you’re looking at me/ Like you’re hungry and I’m the only thing that you see/ Can’t tame you from the way you’re watching me/ Baby I’ll keep you up all night/ Gonna tie you up/ I’ll hit you right/ Animal, animal.” But new Gaga music is on the horizon. Born This Way is set for release on May 23, and Gaga will drop the first single from the album on February 13, the same day she is slated to perform at the Grammy Awards . Last month Gaga revealed that she would be dropping her hotly anticipated single in February, and she let her little monsters know how excited she is to share the song with them. “Thank you for all of your support and I cannot wait to play you Born This Way. It is killing me,” she said, adding that it will be “the greatest album of this decade. … I promise you, I’ll never let you down. Backstreet Boys’ A.J. McLean Back In Rehab

McLean Photo: Jason Merritt/ Getty Images Just as Backstreet Boys fever is back in full force as the guys gear up to hit the road with New Kids on the Block this summer comes news that BSB’s A.J. McLean has returned to rehab. “For personal reasons, I’ve checked myself into a rehab clinic,” McLean said in a statement to MTV News. “With 2011 being a busy year for Backstreet, I want to be healthy and at my best. Thank you for all of your support and respecting my family and friends’ privacy during this time. I’ll see you really soon.” TMZ reports that sources close to the pop star say he has been “out of control” as of late due to issues with substance abuse. Reportedly, he was under the influence during much of the Backstreet Boys cruise last month. He allegedly entered rehab, his third time in a decade, because his issues were affecting the planning stages of the NKOTBSB tour, set to begin this June. A rep for the singer had not responded to MTV News’ request for comment at press time. However the singer did leave some messages for his fans on Twitter that alluded to a possible upcoming stint in rehab. “Thank u all for my bday wishes and tweets:)! Its gonna be a great year! I love u all and wish me luck! I start my sober journey tomm! Ttfn!” he wrote January 9. One day later, he added, “Hey all wish me luck! This is gonna be an amazing year for me and all around me! I love u all and appreciate all the love and support” McLean previously entered rehab in July 2001, just as the Backstreet Boys planned to kick off their Black & Blue world tour. He also went to rehab the following year in 2002. “[A.J.] came to us yesterday and said, ‘Guys, I need help,’ ” group member Brian Littrell told MTV News in 2001. “I looked at him in the eyes and said, ‘I’m proud of you.’ That’s the first time he said it to any of us: ‘Guys, I have a problem, and I wanna better myself and better the group and better our situation.’ ” Related Artists Backstreet Boys

Demi Lovato Spends Christmas With Family

By Jocelyn Vena Demi Lovato Photo: Jason Merritt/Getty Images While rumors that Demi Lovato would be out of treatment by Thanksgiving were false, it seems the singer/actress was able to spend Christmas Day with her family. The “Sonny With a Chance” star was spotted with her family on Christmas getting food near her treatment facility in Woodridge, Illinois, according to Celebrity-Gossip.net . Wearing a leopard-print jacket, sunglasses and army boots, Lovato “seemed in good spirits,” according to a source. The site also reported that Lovato went back to the treatment facility later that evening. Lovato sightings have been rare since she entered the facility in early November. She left her tour with the Jonas Brothers after an alleged altercation with dancer Alex Welch. Earlier this month, photos taken prior to her treatment leaked online of Lovato partying with her friends , including Welch. Welch recently told People that she and the Disney actress came to a settlement in connection with the altercation. “I’m happy,” she said. “We came to an agreement and I’m ready to move on.” A rep for the Disney star had no comment regarding the settlement between the two. Earlier this month, Welch spoke about the disagreement , noting that she really wanted Demi to say sorry. “To this day, I haven’t gotten an apology. I’ve heard nothing,” Welch said. “That’s sad if you think that person is your friend. “I felt, honestly, I didn’t say anything and didn’t think twice about it,” Welch recalled. “We were on the plane with the Jonases having this awesome time, and I didn’t get a call or text from Demi or a ‘hey, you got a problem with me,’ nothing. The singer and his wife have put their multimillion-dollar Toluca Lake, Calif., house on the market, according to Gossip Cop . The couple is asking for more than $7 million for the home. The website also reports that Tish has been looking at homes in Encino since she announced her split from Billy Ray in October. The news comes at the same time it was announced that family friend Bret Michaels popped the question to longtime girlfriend Kristi Gibson. Michaels was rumored to be the cause of the split between Tish and Billy Ray as speculation swirled that he had an affair with Miley’s mom. Michaels , who recorded several songs with Miley, denied any wrongdoing. “The answer is no,” the singer said when he appeared on “Fox & Friends.” “I’ve been friends with her family forever. … It started out with me and Miley simply working on a song together. Her mom, Tish, likes ‘Every Rose Has Its Thorn,’ the first concert Miley ever saw was Poison, and so they wanted to remake it for the new record. … When I was in the studio, Miley came in and sang on my song … and that was it.” Miley has been busy working on her latest film, “So Undercover,” and was recently spotted shopping in New Orleans during a break from filming. According to E! , the teen star was spotted at Saks Fifth Avenue with makeup artist Denika Bedrossian. The singer also reportedly added to her tattoo collection with Bedrossian. By Jocelyn Vena Sandra Bullock Photo: Jason Merritt/ Getty Images Sandra Bullock took home a Best Actress trophy at the 2010 Oscars for her acclaimed turn in “The Blind Side,” and now the star will be on hand to present an award at next year’s big event when it takes place on February 27. Oscar nominee Oprah Winfrey and Oscar winners Jeff Bridges, Halle Berry and Marisa Tomei also are part of the list of 2011 Academy Awards presenters that the show’s producers released on Monday. More Oscar presenters are expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks, while the nominees will be announced on January 25. Meanwhile, the nominees for the Golden Globes were revealed on Tuesday, with films like “The Social Network” and “Tangled” getting nods. Oscar night will be hosted by Anne Hathaway and James Franco , with the latter actor also figuring to play an even more prominent part in the ceremony. The 32-year-old is considered a lock to nab a Best Actor nomination for his turn as a trapped hiker in “127 Hours,” the Danny Boyle-directed drama that’s also expected to compete for Best Picture honors. The 28-year-old Hathaway, meanwhile, remains a long shot in the Best Actress category for her role in “Love & Other Drugs,” which received mixed reviews and reeled in just $14 million over the extended Thanksgiving holiday. Hiring Franco and Hathaway as hosts certainly marks a strategic turn by the Academy, which has long been accused of being out of touch with the young pop-culture mainstream. A quick scan of Oscar history shows that, over the last two decades, no previous host has been younger than 40 when emceeing the show. Most recently, 64-year-old Steve Martin and 51-year-old Alec Baldwin assumed co-hosting duties, notching the event’s best ratings in five years. By James Dinh Ke$ha on the cover of the December issue of Billboard Photo: Billboard She was overlooked by the Grammys, but Ke$ha dominated radio and the charts in 2010 with her Auto-Tuned electro-pop and a distinctive “garbage chic” style that had everybody talking. In the latest issue of Billboard, the party-girl pop star opens up about her whirlwind rise to the top, saying she has no regrets about her breakthrough year. “Are you kidding me? I pretty much feel like I’ve been reborn into this completely different existence,” the singer told the magazine when asked how life had changed for her. “My entire life has become making music and playing shows, and I love it. I’ve accepted the fact that my fans are now my family, and I won’t be having boyfriends. I’ll just be having a really amazing relationship with the radio.” The pop star said that although she “wasn’t clueless” about what fame might bring, it far exceeded her expectations. “It’s just not at all what I expected it to be like,” she said. “It’s really intense, more intense than I ever thought it would be.” Recalling paparazzi chasing her as she made her arrival at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards, Ke$ha said, “I was having an anxiety attack, like, ‘I just wrote some pop songs, man!’ ” Ke$ha, who graces the mag’s cover wearing a crown as she pops a bottle of champagne, also talked about her big debut single, saying, “Sometimes I need to remind myself that ‘Tik Tok’ only went to #1 in January, because it kind of feels like it was 17 years ago.” The mag went on to ask if “Tik Tok” was the best way to introduced herself to the public. “I don’t know. We didn’t really know which song to come out with first,” Ke$ha said. “It was kind of a debate, because I didn’t initially come out as a rapper; I’ve always been a singer. So having my first single classified as kind of a rap song felt bizarre to me. But now it’s become something of a trademark, and it’s becoming more legitimate. But what is it like to watch it performed night after night? Miguel, who is currently opening for Usher’s OMG tour gave us a little insight. “There’s so much anticipation for this song when he comes out, and he really gives the fans what they want,” Miguel laughs. “He kills it every night.” Before his latest string of hits, Usher was out of the spotlight for a period of time in 2009, when he was dealing with personal issues including a divorce. Miguel finds his 2010 comeback inspiring. “There was a period of time, when a lot of people didn’t believe in Usher and thought he was finished … just kind of going to ride off into the sunset and disappear,” the up-and-coming singer noted. But the teen singer is already gearing up for next year. Bieber will not only release his much-anticipated 3-D flick, “Never Say Never” , but he has also teased that he’d like to release an album of all-new material sometime later next year. His mentor, Usher , thinks that at this point, the sky’s the limit. “As far as music and entertainment, that’s the beginning,” Usher told MTV News at Sunday’s AMAs, where Bieber performed and took home four awards . “There’s so much more in store for the future, or at least there’s a ton of things we can do and will, and with the support of his fans who will continue to just grow and grow and grow.” At 16, Bieber has accomplished what few manage with many more years in the music business, but Usher said he wants to ensure that Bieber doesn’t stop enjoying it all as his popularity continues to grow and his schedule gets busier. Asked what he admires most about Justin, Usher said, “His excitement and innocence in it. And I don’t mean that in a light way because I think that he’s absolutely enjoying every moment of it, as any young man his age would, but in a different way because [of] the hard work that has gone in and led to the dream that has become a reality.
