Erin Heatherton Not Modeling Lingerie of the Day

Every once in a while someone talented in one business decides to cross over into another…and ruin whatever credibility she built up in one….by failing at the other…instead of sticking with what she’s good at….this is like Lohan the actor releasing music….Jordan the basketball player taking up baseball…only the bikini model…turned non-bikini model version….and it’s safe to say “send this body back to where she came from”….not that trashy low level photoshoots with fake autographs on them aren’t a step up from getting paid millions to barely cover her vagina…oh right…yeah they totally aren’t a step up from what we are used to….bummer.

Jennifer Lawrence’s Wardrobe Malfunction Fail of the Day

When I hear there’s a wardrobe malfunction…my first response is anger caused by the amount of hate I have for that expression and whoever came up with it at the Janet Jackson Superbowl titty flash….my second response is to hate anyone who is keeping it alive by using it in their articles and posts about these kinds of things….and the third is “where are the fucking pics, can I see ass hole or pussy lip…”…. Today’s Jennifer Lawrence ripped dress that was called a Wardrobe Malfunction by everyone I hate….had the potential of being fucking exciting….because ever she’s admitted she has a fat dumpy ass capable of causing damage…but instead the top and bottom split reveling nothing but a little thigh and/or knee…..in what the dress was supposed to do….what a waste. Spoiler alert – Jennifer Lawrence wins.

Chastain Rules, Schwarzenegger Drools As ‘Mama,’ ‘Zero Dark Thirty’ Rule Box Office

The box office has spoken! Jessica Chastain scored the top two weekend spots over Arnold Schwarzenegger ( The Last Stand ) and the double-whammy of Mark Wahlberg and Russell Crowe ( Broken City ) as the Guillermo del Toro -produced fantasy horror Mama scored a #1 debut with $28.1 million and Zero Dark Thirty stepped into second place. (Oscar rival Jennifer Lawrence didn’t come out so bad herself as Silver Linings Playbook expanded to #3 in wide release the same weekend she tenderly slammed her fellow Best Actress contenders on Saturday Night Live .) More power to the ladies! But where, oh where, did Arnold land in his big action comeback? Schwarzenegger’s breezy actioner The Last Stand showed a surprising lack of muscle over the MLK holiday weekend, raking in just $6.7 million over three days and calling into question the potency of the ex-Governator’s screen appeal as it shuffled into tenth place at the box office. Tenth place. Ouch. Broken City , Fox’s Wahlberg-Crowe mano-a-mano crime pic, also debuted to rather limp returns, with a $9.5 million estimated weekend take (numbers via Deadline ). But if Arnie’s box office cache was proven less brawny than expected, the Best Actress-nominated duo of Chastain and Lawrence reflected strong appeal for both Oscar contenders, both of whom notched Golden Globes wins last weekend. For Chastain’s part, the genre gamble that is the feral child-ghost mother pic Mama could have thrown a wrench into her awards campaign but paid off; it currently sits at a better-than-most-horror-pics 62 percent rating at Rotten Tomatoes, but had some pundits wondering if Universal’s timing of the film’s release was part of a crafty plot to ruin the awards season momentum of her campaign for Sony’s Zero Dark Thirty . But audiences came for a double dose of Chastain in two very different roles — one in a prestige pic that underscored Chastain’s steely strength in a man’s world ( ZDT ), the other a genre pic built around an emotionally distant character gradually embracing her latent maternal instincts ( Mama ). Meanwhile, Silver Linings Playbook and its swelling Oscar momentum continues to be owned by Lawrence, whose audience appeal was solidified by SNL ‘s solid ratings Saturday night. With almost exactly a month left before Oscar ballots are due, this race is just starting to get good. Jennifer Lawrence Pulls Her Punches During ‘SNL’ Oscar Rivals Monologue

If you need an idea of how intensely competitive Oscar campaigning has become, look no further than Jennifer Lawrence’s opening monologue for Saturday Night Live . Given the ridiculous media tempest that arose from Lawrence’s First Wives Club  “I beat Meryl Streep ” reference at the Golden Globe Awards , I figured that the show’s writers were going to address the issue in Lawrence’s opening segment. And they did — in such a half-hearted way that it sounds like some negotiating went on to make sure that the Silver Linings Playbook star and Best Actress nominee didn’t say anything that would hurt her chances to bring home a statuette.  The monologue started out in promising fashion. The Tommy Lee Jones stuff was genuinely funny and Bill Hader’s Tommy Shuffle deserves to become a genuine dance move. And then, when Lawrence told her fellow nominees, “Ladies, I love you all, but you’re about to get served,” I thought, for a few seconds at least, that the Silver Linings Playbook actress was going to earn her comedy warrior stripes by playfully dissing her competition and sending up the whole Golden Globes controversy. It started out that way, at least. Here’s how Lawrence began: “Well, well, well, look who it is.  Jessica Chastain . More like Jessica Chas-ain’t winnin’ no Oscar on my watch!  In Zero Dark Thirty , you caught bin Laden. So what?  In Winter’s Bone , I caught a squirrel — and then I  ate it. Boom! Deal with that.” And then — boom! — Lawrence pulled her punchline, so to speak.  This is how she ended: “Also every time I see you act, I learn something new.” She did the same thing with each of the nominees, needling them gently in a way that only an idiot could misinterpret, and ending on a cringe-worthy note of praise.  That’s not comedy. That’s Oscar campaign politics making sure that any witless television viewers and bloggers tuning in won’t mistake Lawrence’s monologue for genuine trash-talking and start up a whole new controversy that could hurt her chances with Academy voters. Here’s the thing. After watching the clip below several times, I’m left with the impression that Lawrence, who has proven herself to be quite candid in interviews , wasn’t exactly committed to the flip-floppy nature of the monologue script.  The stilted and hurried way she delivers that that line of praise for Chastain off her cue card suggests she is deli something unfamiliar, or, perhaps even unsavory to her. Is that the subtle protest of an actress who doesn’t like the material she’s been given to read, but is too much of a pro to go rogue on an Oscar campaign on which many man hours and dollars have been spent? Judging from the comedic instincts Lawrence showed during the rest of her SNL performance, I say yes. What do you think? Follow Frank DiGiacomo on Twitter. Follow Movieline on Twitter.

Jennifer Lawrence’s Booty Denial

I didn’t see it, but apparently Jennifer Lawrence was on Letterman the other night, to set the record straight about some unflattering paparazzi pictures of her in a bikini, joking that she must’ve been either Photoshopped or bloated. And since I like Jennifer, and I also like any excuse to research booty pictures, I went and found some more of her for comparison’s sake. Sure, these are a little old, but they’re no different looking than the one Letterman showed. Hey, the first step towards fixing something is overcoming denial. » view all 11 photos Related Articles: Jennifer Lawrence Stretches Out Her Shirt Jennifer Lawrence’s Tasty Front Meat Jennifer Lawrence Pumps It For Me Jennifer Lawrence Bikini Pictures For Thanksgiving Photos: PacificCoastNews

Critics Choice Awards Spread The Love Around, Name ‘Argo’ Best Picture

On the heels of this morning’s surprising and not-so-surprising Oscar nominations , the Broadcast Film Critics Association handed their Critics Choice Awards to a rather familiar bunch as Lincoln , Silver Linings Playbook , Argo , Zero Dark Thirty , and Skyfall nabbed multiple major honors. In fact, the BFCA, an organization comprised of TV, radio, and online journalists, spread the love around to cover just about every Oscar favorite and token consolation prize there is. Take your bow, Cloud Atlas ! One thing’s clear: At least as of the close of voting on January 8, the critics’ group was feeling the Argo love. As Zero Dark Thirty and Les Miserables cool off in the Oscar race, Ben Affleck — snubbed for the Oscar, but honored with the Critics Choice Award for Best Director — and his jaunty ensemble period picture has been sneaking back into the hearts and minds of, at least, certain pundits. The BFCA/Critics Choice Awards tend to feel like the middle ground between the Golden Globes and the Oscars in terms of sensibility and taste, while the inclusion of separate Action and Comedy categories and acting subcategories give these voters every opportunity to strategically dole out awards to the widest variety of films. More power to Jennifer Lawrence , then, who was nominated as Best Action heroine and earned not one, but two additional nods for Silver Linings Playbook , for which she vied in both the Comedy and the straight dramatic Best Actress categories. Meanwhile, Jessica Chastain won the main Best Actress race, allowing both Oscar front-runners to win. That makes everyone happy, right? Kristen Stewart Says Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Adams & Dakota Fanning Are ‘Cool’ (While Looking Hot)

I never tire of looking at Kristen Stewart.  In the new issue of V Magazine , which features the On The Road actress in a 10-page photo spread,by Inez & Vinoodh and on its cover, writer Sarah Cristobal writes that there is “a slightly feral air”  to Stewart’s presence, and that’s exactly what makes her so fascinating to watch on and off screen.   I wish On The Road   had been a more cohesive movie, and a better showcase for Stewart’s talents post- Twilight Saga ,  but she clearly has no regrets.  The actress tells V that the Walter Salles picture has been “a fucking amazing experience. I would have done anything, I would have played any part.”  She adds that the character she did play, Marylou, who was based on Beat icon Neal Cassady’s onetime wife LuAnne Henderson, was “remarkable because she has a tough core. When you are a teenager a year can be crippling to maneuver through, you’re just out there questioning things and so to be completely ok with that and not think that there is anything wrong with you, that’s something I’ve recently understood,” says Stewart, who points out that she’s 22 where “Marylou started this whole thing when she was 15.” As Stewart told Movieline , playing Marylou helped her to be “unabashedly” herself , and she elaborates on that theme a bit with V . After a year in which she weathered a storm of overheated   Scarlet Letter -style publicity and issued a public apology for cheating on reported boyfriend and Twilight co-star  Robert Pattinson with her Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders , Stewart tells the publication:  “I have realized that you can close yourself off to life if you put walls up, but it’s a difficult thing…people can’t see in and you also can’t see out. So I have gotten quire comfortable with just being unafraid. I keep saying the same thing, its not about being fearless but really just embracing the fears and using them. (..) I don’t want to deprive myself of any bit of life. Oh yes, and if you’re wondering which actresses are on Stewart’s radar, she says there “are many cool girls out there” and name-checks Jennifer Lawrence, Amy Adams and her Twilight Saga and  The Runaways co-star Dakota Fanning. Now check out some pictures.   Read More on Kristen Stewart:  Kristen Stewart Goes ‘On The Road’ & Chats Up Her Racy Role WATCH: Kristen Stewart Channels The Fierce Bella Swan In ‘Today’ Interview [ V Magazine ] Follow Frank DiGiacomo on Twitter.
