The time of reckoning is upon us… A Vedict Is Expected Today In The William Balfour Hudson Family Murder Trial According to TMZ reports : A verdict is expected today in the trial of William Balfour — the man accused of murdering Jennifer Hudson’s mother, brother, and 7-year-old nephew back in 2008. The trial began April 23rd. A verdict is expected before the end of the day. 27-year-old Balfour stands accused of the triple murder after allegedly flying into a blind and jealous rage over a balloon gift for Julia Hudson, Balfour’s ex and Jennifer’s sister. Prosecutors say Balfour thought the gift was from Julia’s new boyfriend and he snapped. Balfour has pled not guilty to the murders. What do you think the verdict should be? 25 years? Life?? A day after taking the stand in the murder case against William Balfour – and breaking down when a photo of her mom was presented – Jennifer Hudson couldn’t handle being in the same room with the man accused of killing her relatives. Witnesses tell TMZ Hudson excused herself from the legal proceedings when prosecutors pulled out crime scene photos of Jennifer’s seven-year old nephew Julian, who was allegedly shot by Balfour in a fit of rage. He is also on trial for murdering Hudson’s mother and brother. David Otunga , Jennifer’s fiance and the father of her son, remained inside the courtroom after Hudson departed and, insiders say, jotted down notes about the crime scene. Basketball Wives star Nia Crooks has been charged with misdemeanor battery for slapping Jennifer Williams on a recent episode of the VH1 “hit” show. A rep for the Broward County State’s Attorney’s Office says officials decided to file the criminal charge on April 10, after Williams filed a formal complaint. If convicted, Nia Crooks faces up to a year in prison. Basketball Wives FIGHT: Jennifer Williams Slapped! During the January incident, which aired on last week’s Basketball Wives , Nia can be heard threatening to slap Jennifer in the lead-up to the attack. Jennifer then replied, “I wish you would.” Ask and ye shall receive. Nia’s lawyer Marc David Seitles said in a statement, “We will vigorously defend Nia against these charges … The women on this show executed contracts expressly accepting the risk that a physical altercation could occur.” SIDE NOTE: If that’s true, smart move by VH1’s parent company. The lawyer adds, “Given that Jennifer herself has previously instigated fights, to cry foul now is absurd and a desperate attempt for publicity and money.” “We will fight until Nia is vindicated.”

Up until last week, Marc Anthony hoped to reconciliation with his estranged wife Jennifer Lopez, only to learn she was madly in love with new BF Casper Smart. Marc filed for divorce Monday, nine months after the couple separated. Sources indicate that Anthony didn’t make the decision on his own, really. He wanted J. Lo back and had a heart-to-heart with her about giving it another shot. Anthony reportedly make his intentions clear and asked to give the marriage another try, but Jennifer confessed tht she was “deeply in love” with Casper. She said she wanted to pursue that relationship, and that was that. Marc was blindsided, according to insiders, because while she and Casper Smart have been an item for some time, he had no idea things were so serious. He was hurt, and has now filed for divorce, officially. You gotta feel for the guy … but on the flip side, they did split up for a reason, and by all accounts mutually. He’s also been seeing Shannon De Lima .
