Jessica Simpson Would Rather Not Go Naked

Jessica Simpson is keeping her clothes on…at least on the big screen. “I will never do nudity… I don’t care if I frickin’ could get an Oscar for it, I’m not going to do it.” An Oscar? We don’t think she has to worry about that quite yet… Even so, Jess says: “I don’t think people deserve to see what’s under my clothing. That’s only for my next husband!” We hate to say it… But we don’t think she has to worry about that quite yet…

Jessica Simpson: Betrayed By John Mayer!

Most weeks, OK! Magazine straight up invents news. It’s what they do. This week, it’s trying a different tack, reporting an actual story but with sensationalistic, misleading headlines enticing you to read it all over again! According to this venerable publication, Jessica Simpson was “stunned” last week as she awoke to texts, e-mails and Tweets regarding John Mayer. Her ex-flame made the masses cringe when he referred Jessica to “ sexual napalm ” and “crack cocaine” he “could not stop f*%king” in Playboy . Classy guy. But is ” Betrayed ” the right word, OK!? Is it really a “sex scandal”? Guy nailed a famous, hot girl and bragged about it. Moving on. How could he sink so low, indeed? “Jessica was shocked,” a pal of the singer tells OK!. “She was really pissed off at first when she heard about it, then she read the whole interview, and the first thing that she said was, ‘I’m annoyed John would sink so low.’” That’s just how a Grade A Douchebag rolls. Facing a barrage of criticism, for his comments about Jessica (and gay and racial slurs he made), John expressed regret that night at a concert in Nashville. “I just want to play. I completely forgot about the people that I love and that love me. I’m out. I’m done. I quit the media game,” he told the crowd. We should be so lucky.

The Allure of Jessica Simpson

Jessica Simpson was recently described as sexual napalm by John Mayer. While she didn’t address the truth of that statement in the new issue of Allure (unfortunately), she did reference the douchebag singer on one occasion. “He didn’t make me go brunette,” she says of her past hair color. “John doesn’t get the credit. He’d like to think so, but he doesn’t deserve the credit.” Oh, SNAP! Jessica Simpson is a globe-trotting beauty spy. Apparently. Jessica says she isn’t bitter at her exes, particularly Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo, of whom she says, “I’m still a fan. I wear my gear, and I cheer Tony on.” Her career isn’t what it once was, but her body still is. No one can take that away from Jessica. Or John for having kissed and told … and told, and told. John Mayer Playboy Interview Fuels More Debate

Some commenters are still angry, while others say it’s much ado about nothing. By Hillary Crosley John Mayer Photo: George Pimentel/ WireImage Last week, singer/songwriter John Mayer made some controversial statements in his now-infamous Playboy interview, dishing personal details about his past relationships and using the N-word. The public’s reaction was immediate, with some decrying his comments and others saying John was just being John. Mayer has since apologized, via Twitter and onstage , but many of you have continued to sound off about the interview. So we grabbed a few of our favorites down below, lightly edited for grammar and content, and please note that the opinions expressed therein are those of the commenters, not MTV News. But don’t think the debate has to end here. If you want to have your voice heard, sound off in the comments below, because the discussion isn’t over. And now, we turn the floor over to you: “Goodness, so much hate out there on the Internet. John Mayer is not racist in my opinion. He’s trying to handle his own public relations, and he stumbled a little bit. He made his apology, that’s all he can do. Does the public want blood too? What about forgiveness?” — Barkthedog “What a disappointment. I really liked his music, even though his last album was a letdown and rather weak compared to his earlier work. Unfortunately, I am not surprised that the fellow said something really ignorant. Having spent a great deal of time in the entertainment/music industry, I learned long ago that talent and brains were rarely found in the same person. John just exposed himself as another dumb singer/ songwriter/ guitar player. Disappointing, but not surprising. Time to sell some CDs.” — zeppyled “Mayer had me in the interview. It was V-E-R-Y. Then, when the ‘hood pass comment came into play, I kinda shrugged. Maybe his peers are that accepting, playful and act that way with him. As I read on, ‘Oh hell no’ crossed my mind, and through to the end, I had to ask the question ‘How could you?’ Come on, John Mayer. As adults, our sexual perversions are our own. I don’t fault John Mayer for flaunting those as a highlight of his life. I don’t even care that this man doesn’t date Meagan Good. I just hate that so many can excuse this John Mayer interview with a simple word: honest.” — Vivian “I don’t believe John Mayer is racist. I understood his intent with those comments. However, he — as he admitted in his bid to save himself from his mouth — tries too hard to be clever, provocative and witty. Usually the people and topics he talks about are too insignificant for anybody to care, but this time people cared and now the foot that usually is in his mouth choked him.” — Micdis “Wow, as a black woman who ‘was’ a fan, I am completely shocked that you would be so heartless to mention white supremacy in referring to your lack of attraction to black women. If you indeed had a ‘ ‘hood pass,’ trust me, it has been revoked.” — Nikki2006 “Geez, quite a few of you are simply morons. Bottom line: He is a human being, imperfect and allowed to be complex and say things that may or may not piss you off. He is also allowed to change his mind on day two if he wants or go in any new direction he wants: philosophically, spiritually, as well as musically. WE ALL DO. Personally, I find him refreshing. I am sooo sick of all these celebs who kiss the public’s ass and are terrified to say something that may upset a toad living under a rock in deep Madagascar.” — aspenAEROplane “First and foremost, Mayer is no gentleman. A gentleman does not kiss and tell. You would think that the ‘girls’ that he’s been with would see the red flags waving all over the place when they first meet him. (I wonder what Sinatra would say to Mayer if Frank was alive today, probably something like, ‘Kid, be happy you’re in the game and get the dames. Now shut your mouth up or I shut it for you!”) This being said, it’s obvious that Mayer has an inferiority complex. He wants, craves and thrives off of attention. The fact that he wired himself into the Internet so we know every time he takes a piss is silly, sad and illustrative of the fact that this man/boy has issues with himself in this world. What Mayer does not realize is that while he has what seems to be people (fans) hanging on his every word/tweet/whatever, 99 percent of them don’t care. He makes himself look ridiculous even in the eyes of his youngest admirers. Mayer just doesn’t realize this because he is insulated from the everyday routines of normal, productive people. (Excuse me, but living on the high end, writing songs and not caring about bills, work and all that is not a normal life.) I think that Mayer is self important.” — PaulfromProvidence “I loved his music, and he can date who he wants, but comparing his penis to David Duke is hard to get over. However, I think he meant what he said, and if that is the case (and it is), why apologize? He should man up and let the world know these are my true feelings and tell everyone to respect them instead of crying onstage.” — Manuel “I swear, two things people in America love to do is, 1) Call racist, and 2) Get offended when someone (a stranger) calls them the N-word when they don’t mind that their friends call them it. In short, if you don’t like the N-word, then don’t EVER freaking use it. I don’t use it and I don’t like it. Plus, I don’t consider myself the N-word, because I’m not ignorant. So him saying the word does not offend me.” — Cleo What do you think of the debate over John Mayer’s Playboy interview? Are you surprised people are still talking about his comments? John Mayer: Douchebag, Aspiring Porn Writer

We know John Mayer is a douchebag. But he is a douchebag whose dream job is to write and direct porn. This was one of his least weird comments in the past week. In his interview with Playboy, which has to go down as one of the dumbest in history, he talked about boning Jessica Simpson and dropped both racial and gay slurs . Somewhere in there, he also said he dreamed of writing porn. If he ever fails to sell records, the adult entertainment purveyors at Vivid Entertainment are all for it. “Dear John,” the upstanding firm wrote. “We read about your interest in porn in your interview with Playboy magazine … When we learned that you make back up stories in your mind and that your ‘biggest dream is to write pornography.'” Douchebag singer turned douchebag porn director? “We decided we’d like to talk to you about doing just that and possibly directing as well. We believe your incredible talent and passion, which have touched so many, can translate into a highly erotic adult film,” their letter hilariously continued. “Your intimate understanding of the dynamics of relationships would undoubtedly appeal to both men and women.” So true. Who doesn’t wanna nail John Mayer? All we can say is “Your Body Is a Wonderland” is a track pretty much made for the world of adult films. Jessica Simpson might star in one before too long, too. Who’s the bigger d-bag?

John Mayer Slammed By Rappers, Readers For Playboy Interview

‘My man John Mayer must love the taste of his own foot,’ Talib Kweli tweets. By Gil Kaufman John Mayer Photo: Stephen Lovekin/ Getty Images Following his ill-advised comments in a Playboy magazine interview , in which he used the “N” word, John Mayer has drawn some fire from the hip-hop community. On Wednesday, Mayer apologized for some of the comments he made in the interview, in which he talked freely about sex, former girlfriends Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson, and — most controversially — made comments about black women and his lack of a ” ‘hood pass” that many have perceived as racist. On his Twitter , the Roots’ ?uestlove seemed to be in a thoughtfully forgiving mood about the outburst. “Hmmm. I’ll give Mayer a benefit of the doubt (remember how people misinterpreted my photo?) and assume that was a punchline gone awry,” he tweeted, referring to a photo of an apparently racist lunch menu at the NBC caf

John Mayer: Sorry For Using The N-Word

John Maye r is issuing a meaculpa for using the N-word during an emotionally charged, and raw interview with Playboy .

John Mayer Apologizes For Controversial Playboy Interview

‘I’ve created somewhat of a monster,’ singer says on Twitter about his open demeanor in interviews and arguably racist comments. By MTV News staff John Mayer Photo: Stephen Lovekin/ Getty Images Not surprisingly, given his copious use of Twitter in the past, John Mayer tweeted Wednesday about the uproar over his controversial interview with Playboy, in which he talked freely about sex, former girlfriends Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Simpson, and — most controversially — made comments about black women and his lack of a ” ‘hood pass” that many have perceived as racist. In a series of tweets on Wednesday afternoon (February 10), Mayer wrote: “Re: using the ‘N word’ in an interview: I am sorry that I used the word. And it’s such a shame that I did because the point I was trying to make was in the exact opposite spirit of the word itself. It was arrogant of me to think I could intellectualize using it, because I realize that there’s no intellectualizing a word that is so emotionally charged. “And while I’m using today for looking at myself under harsh light,” he continued. “I think it’s time to stop trying to be so raw in interviews. It started as an attempt to not let the waves of criticism get to me, but it’s gotten out of hand and I’ve created somewhat of a monster. I wanted to be a blues guitar player. And a singer. And a songwriter. Not a shock jock. I don’t have the stomach for it. “Again, because I don’t want anyone to think I’m equivocating: I should have never said the word and I will never say it again.” What do you think of John Mayer’s apology?
