This is so incredibly sad . A promising young athlete took her life over the weekend, leaving her friends and family with unanswered questions about what had her so troubled. Via NY Post reports : A beautiful 19-year-old University of Pennsylvania track star from New Jersey killed herself Friday by jumping to her death from a parking garage in Philadelphia, The Record reported . Madison Holleran posted a photograph of the sunset over Rittenhouse Square to her Instagram account about an hour before she jumped from a parking garage in Downtown Philadelphia at 7 p.m. The stunning Holleran competed for the UPenn cross-country and track teams and as an Allendale high schooler she won the 800-meter New Jersey state championship. The freshman’s friends and fans posted their condolences and grief to the heartbreaking photo she posted before her death. “Rest in peace Madison, whether you knew it or not you were and are an irreplaceable part of the Highlands family,” wrote Erin Lee. “I keep trying to imagine the pain you must’ve been going through and how lost you must’ve felt. My heart breaks along with the rest of the community after the loss of someone so genuine and kind,” wrote another friend. Two UPenn events – sorority recruitment and a track and field meet – were both postponed after Holleran’s death, the Daily Pennsylvanian reported. Elderly Man Arrested For Shooting His Wife Inside A Hospital Via ABCNews Jailers were keeping an 88-year-old man on a suicide watch after he was arrested for allegedly opening fire at a Carson City hospital and critically wounding his wife, authorities said. William Dresser was arrested Sunday after firing one shot with small-caliber semi-automatic handgun that struck his wife in the chest at Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center, Carson City Sheriff Ken Furlong said. No other injuries were reported. The woman was a patient in a third-floor room when she was shot around 11:30 a.m. The woman’s injuries are considered life-threatening, and she was transferred to Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Furlong said. Her name and age were not immediately released. Dresser was booked into the Carson City Jail on suspicion of attempted murder and was on suicide watch, the sheriff said. His bail was set at $225,000, he said. Dresser, who recently bought the gun, came to his wife’s room in the rehabilitation ward, where she was alone, and shot her in the chest, Furlong said. No details of why she was admitted to the hospital were released, but officials don’t suspect foul play. We don’t care how old his guy is, he ain’t isht! Damn D-Roc, this is a bad look homie. Ying Yang Twin Accused Of Punching Wife In Head Little D-Roc just can’t seem to get right. The ninja owes 45K in back child support and now this. According to TMZ: Deongelo Holmes — one half of the rap duo Ying Yang Twins — was busted in Georgia … after Holmes’ wife accused him of punching her in the head. Prosecutors say Holmes socked his wife Porsche Holmes in the head back in November … and the rapper hit her so hard she got a big bump over her left eye. Authorities charged Holmes with “family violence” and two counts of simple battery. Deongelo was released on bond after agreeing to stay away from his wife — among other restrictions. A rep for Deongelo had no comment. D-Roc needs to be in the same anger management class as Kanye and Chris Breezy.

According to KSL: A shocking discovery was made late Thursday at a home where police believe a police officer shot and killed his wife, two young children and his mother-in-law, before killing himself. It was the second murder-suicide in Utah involving parents killing their children in just two days. The bodies of Kelly Boren, 32, Joshua “Jaden” Boren, 7, Haley Boren, 5, and Marie King, 55, and officer Joshua Boren, 34, were found Thursday night inside a Spanish Fork house where they all lived. “We’re a small department. Our families are one big family, so we knew his entire family as well. Just a tremendous shock to our entire organization,” said Lindon Police Chief Cody Cullimore. “He was well-liked, had a lot of friends at the sheriff’s office,” said Utah County Sheriff’s Sgt. Spencer Cannon. “He was a big guy, just solid as a rock muscle guy. But just a teddy bear is how I would have described him. Just a mild-mannered personality.” Did he have to shoot the babies too? What’s with all these murder-suicides? Couple And Their Two Children Found Dead In Murder-Suicide People really don’t give a fawk. According to Charlotte Observer: IRMO A husband, wife and their two young children are dead following an apparent murder-suicide near Irmo, according to the Richland County Sheriff’s Department. The four were found Wednesday morning after police were called around 10:30 to the home at 1 Forest Walk Court in the Riverwalk neighborhood off Broad River Road. The children were discovered in their own bedrooms, and the two adults were found together in their bedroom, said Sgt. Curtis Wilson, spokesman for the Richland County Sheriff’s Department. Each of the four was shot in the upper body, he said. A handgun was found near the father, Wilson said. The sheriff’s department’s initial assessment is that the incident was a domestic situation. Wilson said authorities would investigate whether any previous domestic violence calls had been made to the house. Rachel Hinson, 25, said she had attended bible study at the family’s home and went to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses with them. She described them as a good family. She said she thought each of the children was younger than 5. Hinson’s grandmother lives near the family’s house. “It’s confusing, and it’s not understandable why something like that would happen,” Hinson said. It’s sad how a man can easily murk his own family.
