According to IB Times: A 31-year-old Pennsylvania teacher arrested in December for having sex with a student faces more charges for another incident involving a different student. Lauren Harrington-Cooper, an English teacher at Wyoming Valley West High School in Plymouth, Pa., was charged with institutional sexual assault after she allegedly had sex with an 18-year-old student. On Thursday, Harrington-Cooper was met with more charges after she allegedly engaged in oral sex with a 17-year-old student in a car, the Citizen’s Voice reports. The 17-year-old victim told police he began texting with Harrington-Cooper between October and November of last year. On one occasion he picked up Harrington-Cooper at her home in Kingston, Pa. After driving around for 90 minutes, he returned to her home and they kissed in the car. In another instance, they met outside of school where Harrington-Cooper allegedly performed oral sex on the 17-year-old in a parked car outside a house in Kingston, Pa. Harrington-Cooper was initially released on bail for $25,000. On Thursday she was arrested again, and bail was set at $25,000. This is her second time bustin’ it wide open for an underage boy….her bail should have been way higher.

According to NY Daily News: A Brooklyn mom who lost both legs and most of her hearing after a botched gynecological procedure at a Long Island hospital was awarded $62 million in damages Friday. It was vindication for 34-year-old Stacey Galette, who had gone to Winthrop University Hospital for laparoscopic removal of an ectopic pregnancy — and wound up a cripple. “I’m just happy justice was served,” said the woman, who uses a wheelchair. “I’m not able to walk.” The jury — after three days of deliberation — awarded Galette $20 million for past pain and suffering, $38 million for future pain and suffering, and another $4 million with interest for medical expenses. “We knew mistakes had been made,” said juror Miriam Beyer, 37, of Greenpoint. “Our main issue was who’s responsible and how much money do you put on the loss of enjoyment of life, on the loss of a limb.” Her life has been changed forever because of one person’s careless mistake. The Kardashian matriarch not only wanted Khloé Kardashian to get a nose job at age 9 — she had her working out at the young age of 4! In the new issue of In Touch, on newsstands now, Kris’ sister — and Khloé’s aunt — Karen Houghton recalls how Kris would force Khloé, who’s struggled with her weight her entire life, to exercise. “Khloé might have been 4 or 5 years old when Kris would have me take her to classes to get exercise,” Karen tells In Touch. “I would take her a couple of times a week.” Khloé has done all she can to build up her own self, but friends fear she’ll never be able to tune Kris out completely. “Your parents are supposed to be there for you,” says the insider. “You don’t hurt your daughter like that.” “Words are the most powerful weapon. According to CBS Boston: A 36-year-old food service worker at a Weymouth middle school has been charged with forced sex with a teenager. Janelle Foley was arraigned Thursday in Quincy District Court on four counts of statutory forced sex following her arrest at her home Wednesday night. According to prosecutors, Foley had sexual relations with a 15-year-old boy around the holidays. An investigation is ongoing concerning a second victim, believed to be a juvenile relative of Foley. The prosecutor asked the judge to impose a $25,000 cash bail. But Foley’s attorney William Sullivan, told the court Foley is a life-long resident of Weymouth, has no criminal record, is married with four children between 7 and 15 years old, and is not a flight risk. He claimed Foley has substance and depression issues that may have resulted in a “lapse in judgement” and asked the judge to impose a $1,000 cash bail with GPS monitoring. A judge ordered Foley held on $5,000 cash bail with GPS monitoring. She must undergo mental health counseling. Foley will be back in court for a probable cause hearing on February 4. She has a “substance” issue alright, with underaged man milk!

This is so sad. Boy Dies Covered In Cigarette Burns This little boy had his whole life ahead of him. According to NY Daily News: A 4-year-old boy died after being found unconscious in the care of a baby-sitter in a Hell’s Kitchen apartment Wednesday — and his body was marked by cigarette burns and defensive wounds, police sources said. Police found Myles Dobson unresponsive when they arrived at the apartment in the Ritz Plaza, a luxury doorman building on W. 48th St., near Eighth Ave., following a 911 call at 10:50 a.m., police said. The boy was pronounced dead at St. Luke’s Hospital. The baby-sitter, a 37-year-old woman, was interviewed by detectives for several hours, the sources said. She said she heard a noise, ran back into the bathroom, and found the boy in the tub, unconscious, the sources said. There was no water in the tub, sources said. Investigators had questions about the woman’s story, because the child’s skin was pocked with burns that were consistent with being poked with a lit cigarette, and his body had wounds that appeared to have been sustained while he tried to defend himself, sources said. His body was also bruised, the sources said. “It looks like we’re going to charge her,” a police source told the Daily News, cautioning that a decision had not been made because the investigation had just begun. “It’s too early.” Her story smells fishy. Beyonce, Kanye is not going to be happy and you know how he likes to spazz out. Beyonce Refuses To Be Kim’s Bridesmaid Guess Kimmy won’t be getting a wedding gift from Bey. According to Hollywood Life: Kim has once again tried to score some points with Beyoncé. Star magazine reports that the Keeping up With Kardashians starlet asked Beyoncé to be a bridesmaid to which the singer immediately refused. Kim had been going around, bragging about how much Beyoncé wanted to be in her wedding, sources tell Star. The reality star was reportedly embarrassed when the reigning queen of pop turned her down. The voicemail was very unexpected considering the fact that Beyoncé does not even respond to Kim’s calls. Though Queen Bey tries to be cordial with Kim and her family, “she still finds her family unbearable,” the source added. Their men, hip hop power houses, Jay Z and Kanye West are known bffs, but it doesn’t seem as though the same will happen for their leading ladies. If you remember back in 2012, Beyoncé gave Kim the same treatment at the BET Awards and she does not seem to be letting up. The Drunk in Love singer has made a conscious effort to be as uncontroversial and private as possible, while Kim has shared each and every detail of her, often chaotic life with the public on her TV show. Beyoncé feels the Kardashians are “too controversial,” the source continues, and that of course does not fare well with her. However, HollywoodLife.com spoke exclusively to Kim’s rep who confirmed, there was no truth to any of the report. “She hasn’t gotten that far [into planning] to ask anyone!,” she told us! Did they REALLY have to kill him?? Cops Kill Mentally Ill Teenager We can only imagine how the parents feel knowing they called the police for help only for them to kill their son. According to CNN: Seventy seconds: That’s how long a North Carolina family says it took for things to go horribly wrong as they sought police help dealing with their mentally ill son. Keith Vidal, 18, died Sunday. According to CNN affiliate WECT, he was just shot 1 minute and 10 seconds after a third law enforcement officer showed up at his Brunswick County home. “There was no reason to shoot this kid,” the teen’s stepfather, Mark Wilsey, told WECT on Monday. “They killed my son in cold blood. We called for help, and they killed my son.” “I think that we can certainly understand why this family is upset right now,” the Wilmington Star-News newspaper quoted District Attorney Jon David as saying. “They just lost a child, and certainly my thoughts and prayers are with them. But what they want from this office today is justice, and I intend to give them exactly that.” The incident happened Sunday afternoon when the mother and stepfather of the Boiling Spring Lakes man called police. According to stepbrother Mark Ryan Wilsey, Vidal had schizophrenia and “was having an episode,” and his parents wanted police to subdue him so he could get help. “Everything was going good,” Mark Wilsey said, according to WWAY. “Then this fat cop from Southport walks in the room, walks around the corner, says, ‘We don’t have time for this. Tase that kid now. Let’s get him out of here.’ “ The stepfather said Vidal tried to run but was struck with two Taser charges and fell backward. He said the first two officers to respond got on top of Vidal. WECT attributed a slightly different accounting of events to Mark Wilsey. In that retelling, the stepfather said officers had pinned Vidal to the ground after he had been tased and one of the officers said, “We don’t have time for this” and shot his stepson. Seventy seconds after the third officer arrived, WECT reported, citing police records, police radioed that they had had to shoot the teenager in self-defense. SMH. Facebook

According to AZ Central: The lead pastor at Gilbert’s Mission Community Church, which draws around 6,000 people to its worship services, has resigned after engaging in multiple extramarital affairs, church officials confirmed. Church leaders asked for and accepted the resignation of Pastor Mark Connelly on Dec. 30 after the married man confessed to the affairs, according to an announcement from the church. Church members received the news at worship services this past Saturday and Sunday. Executive Pastor of Ministries Gary Sutliff has been named interim lead pastor, and the congregation will choose a permanent replacement from among the leadership. The church called a special prayer service at 7 p.m. on Tuesday inviting “all followers of Jesus to join with us in praying for wisdom and healing.” Church officials declined to confirm for the Republic whether any of the women involved in the affairs were members of the congregation. Even in the face of Connelly’s resignation, Mission Community Church “has not lost focus on its vision to do justice, love mercy and walk humbly,” Kaufman said. “In the same way an orthopedic surgeon may break a bone, reset and heal properly, so too has Mission been broken,” Kaufman said. “I have no doubt the church will endure, heal, and grow stronger despite ourselves.” Spencer Brannan, a pastor at Mission, said the search for a permanent lead pastor will begin in the next few weeks but that for now, leaders remained focused on helping those involved get through a difficult time. Texas Girl Stabs Mother 9 Times Via DailyMail An 11-year-old Texas girl was arrested over the weekend for stabbing her own mother nine times in the head, neck and shoulder as the woman slept. While the unnamed minor is currently in a juvenile center, 41-year-old Toshia Edmonson, a single mother of two, is in a serious but stable condition in a Dallas hospital. The girl told police she that she attacked her mother as she was ‘so, so angry and frustrated with her.’ Officers say she was upset that she had to be home at 11.45pm on Friday. According to a police report, the girl said that Edmonson pushed her into a sofa and told her that she was going to ‘give her away.’ The girl then waited for her mother to go to sleep, got a knife from the kitchen, went to her bedroom and stabbed her nine times, as reported by CBS 11. The report stated that Edmonson’s other child, a younger boy, told police that his mother woke up screaming and shouting her daughter’s name. Edmonson was eventually able to get the knife out of the 11-year-old’s hand and fall on top of her to stop the attack, according to reports… …The girl has been charged with family violence aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
