By Jocelyn Vena Snooki Photo: Jason Merritt/ Getty Images Starting Sunday, the East Coast was hit by a massive storm, prompting many in the area to extend their holiday weekend by one more day. And it seems that some of the region’s biggest celebs have mixed feelings about the snow. “Modern Family” star Sofia Vergara simply tweeted, “Finally snowing in the house!! Wuuu hooo!” She then posted a photo of herself bundled up in the snow. “Jersey Shore” star Snooki seemed content with the weather. “Still up and enjoying this snow storm !! #snowpartyallnight.” She later added: “Ahhh the reindeer are getting burried Wahhh! Poor things,” followed by a photo of herself hanging out among the snow drifts. VH1 reality star and former MTV VJ La La Vazquez went to Twitter for a weather update: “Is it still snowing in NYC?” If La La needed an answer, all she had to do was look to the Twitter feeds of some of reality TV’s biggest stars, who were out in full force reacting to the intense snow that fell over much of the Tri-State Area. “I have to say I freakin HATE snow,” tweeted “Real Housewives of New Jersey” alum Dina Manzo . “Does nothing but cause problems & put people I love in danger. It should only snow in the mountains.” Fellow New Jersey housewife Danielle Staub had a more positive reaction to the epic downfall, tweeting, “It’s snowing!!! Good morning. My kids are so excited about all the snow falling!! Yay!!! Keri Hilson Says ‘The Way You Love Me Video’ Is ‘Not Just Sexual’ By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Jim Cantiello Keri Hilson Photo: MTV News Keri Hilson gets sexy in her new video for “The Way You Love Me.” In the clip, Hilson plays B.B., a gun-slinging woman who sets out to bring her man into custody. The video also stars JoJo, Faith Evans and Diddy-Dirty-Money’s Dawn Richard as her band of “bad bitches.” The video’s sex factor climbs quickly, as Hilson sheds more and more clothes, writhing around while singing all about her loving her man. But when MTV News spoke to Hilson this week, she shrugged off any controversy but admitted she was a little bit surprised by the reaction she’s been getting. “In that record I’m talking about one guy, I’m talking about one night and this is what I want on this one night, and I’m not afraid to say it,” she explained. “Not just sexual, I just mean whatever — open your mouth. That’s empowering to me. That’s what the song is about.” For his part, Rick Ross , who’s featured on the track, chills in the club, while beautiful people drink and dance the night away. But it’s Hilson’s scantily clad popping and locking that has everyone buzzing. “The Way You Love Me” is off Hilson’s latest release, No Boys Allowed, and she clarified the meaning behind the title, saying that while the boys aren’t welcome to her party, real men are. “Yeah, men [are allowed],” Hilson said. “That’s the point of the album. Tryouts will reportedly be held on Wednesday (December 22), and Spears is looking for male and female dancers to join her in the video for the single, which is set for a January release, according to the notice. “Hold It Against Me” is rumored to be the title of the song, though no details regarding the single or video have been confirmed. “The dates for the project are still to be determined but it will be happening on either the 9th and 10th of January with rehearsals anytime after Xmas and leading up to those dates or on the 15th and 16th with rehearsals leading in after Xmas as well,” the notice reads. “He is looking for men and women with fabulous bodies and faces. They must be versatile. This is not for the tour at this time or even promo. It is just for the video.” Spears’ choreographer, Brian Freidman, hinted about the auditions on his Twitter . Brown/ Getty Images Cher turned heads at the VMAs back in September when she proudly showed up in the same barely there outfit she wore for her 1989 “If I Could Turn Back Time” video. However, the 64-year-old pop icon admits that she began feeling a bit inappropriately dressed when she was introduced to Justin Bieber that evening. “I thought, ‘I’ll do myself in a decade’, and that [body stocking] was the closest thing I had. And then someone said, ‘Will you take a picture with Justin Bieber,’ and I said, ‘Sure’, not knowing who he was,” she recently recalled to British talk-show host Graham Norton. “And then this child, who came up to here [my chest], and I felt like I should cover up before I take a picture with this baby.” Of course, Bieber wasn’t the only up-and-coming star Cher had the pleasure of meeting that night. She also had the honor of holding Lady Gaga’s meat purse when the latter singer took the stage to accept a Moonman in the now-infamous meat dress. “Well, I wear that every night in Las Vegas, so I just whipped it out,” Cher said recently to MTV News of her scanty VMA getup. “I didn’t have time to think of, like, getting a costume. Joseph Kosinski tells MTV News, ‘There’s some stuff in this film that people maybe aren’t expecting.’ By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Joseph Kosinski Photo: MTV News For those “Tron” fans who’ve been waiting patiently for the release of “Tron Legacy” — a semi-sequel more than 20 years in the making — the day has arrived! Starting Friday (December 17), Jeff Bridges (playing two roles, no less) can now be seen in theaters nationwide. Given the original film’s storied and groundbreaking history, MTV News asked first-time director Joseph Kosinski what reactions he hopes “Legacy” viewers will have. “Hopefully, people will have the same reaction I did when I saw the first ‘Tron,’ ” Kosinski said. “It looked different than anything else out there; it sounded different than anything else out there; it was bold in its concept and in the technology, the way it pushed technology,” he recalled. “So hopefully, audiences feel the same way about this film, because that’s what we tried to do.” Speaking of pushing the boundaries of technology and sound, “Legacy” is more than just your average popcorn flick. There are thematic elements that demand the audience’s attention in ways different from other films. Kosinski said that was one of his goals in continuing the story. “I can only make the film that I would want to see. I like films that challenge the audience,” he explained. “I like films that require you to pay attention, and there’s some stuff in this film that people maybe aren’t expecting, which to me are the most exciting parts.” For the astute viewer — or fans of films like “Blade Runner,” “2001: A Space Odyssey” and “Star Wars” — a few of those exciting parts might feel just a bit familiar. “I was a child of the ’80s, so those are obviously films that made huge impressions on me,” Kosinski said. “I think every director is a combination, can cite influences from all the films, especially films you see as a kid, for whatever reason, those are the ones that impact you the strongest,” he added. “I think there are bits of all of those in here.” Check out everything we’ve got on “Tron Legacy.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .
