3Oh!3 Plan Animatronics, Basketball For Tour With Cobra Starship

The Colorado duo are strategizing for the court and the stage before April 28. By Jocelyn Vena 3Oh!3 Photo: Gus Stewart/ Redferns This spring 3Oh!3 will hit the road with Cobra Starship, kicking off their tour on April 28 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. And while both bands’ sounds will have their fans dancing in the aisles, they have a couple of other things in common, like a considerable height advantage on the basketball court. “Apparently, we have a massive truck that’s coming on the tour with us. People don’t know that [3Oh!3 bandmate Sean Foreman is] actually tall,” Nathaniel Motte said. “They think he’s small, ’cause I’m tall. [He’s] 6’1” and I’m 6’7” and I think [Cobra Starship] have a couple dudes who are, like, 6’4″. We’re gonna be playing basketball.” Foreman feared that the members of Cobra Starship will have the edge over them, because “collectively they’re taller.” But aside from coming up with b-ball strategies, 3OH!3 have been spending time planning other aspects of the tour. “We’ve been piecing it together as far as the stage production and the shows,” Foreman said. “I think it’s going to be fun. It seems like a really cool package for the money.” The Colorado duo, who are set to release new album Streets of Gold in June, said there are some extra treats in store for the fans who come to see them live. “We’re gonna be doing some cool stuff. Some meet-and-greet stuff,” Motte continued. “The sets are going to be really fun. We’re trying to keep ticket prices super low. … We got some animatronics.” Are you looking forward to the Cobra Starship and 3OH!3 tour? Tell us in the comments!

3Oh!3 Prepare Fans For Another Ke$ha Collaboration

‘First Kiss,’ the duo’s first song with ‘rad’ pal Ke$ha, will appear on their upcoming album. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Matt Elias 3Oh!3 Photo: MTV News 3Oh!3 helped Ke$ha teach boys lessons on her hit “Blah Blah Blah.” And she’s returning the favor on the guys’ next album, Streets of Gold . “First Kiss” was recorded before Ke$ha stormed the charts with “Blah,” and it was actually the backdrop for the first meeting between the party-loving singer and the similarly celebration-happy duo. 3Oh!3’s Sean Foreman recalled how he and bandmate Nathaniel Motte were first introduced to the “Tik Tok” singer. “We were working with our buddy Benny Blanco and Dr. Luke [on ‘Kiss’], and we had a line for the song. It’s kind of a call and response, and Luke’s like, ‘I know this girl.’ We worked with her and we got a friendship since then,” he said. “She’s rad,” Motte added. “The success she had with ‘Tik Tok’ was amazing.” As of now this collaboration with Ke$ha is the only guest appearance on the album, which comes out in June. But the guys note that they’re open to inviting other artists into the studio. “It’s nice to work [with friends], like when we worked with Katy Perry [on ‘Starstrukk’],” said Foreman. Justin Bieber, Sean Kingston Throw Pool Party For ‘Eenie Meenie’ Video

‘The video is basically about this girl trying to play both of us,’ Kingston explained about new video with Bieber. By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber on the set of his and Sean Kingston’s “Eenie Meenie” video Photo: RapUp.com Following this week’s release of the video for his new song “Never Let You Go,” Justin Bieber is already hard at work on his next clip from My World 2.0, “Eenie Meenie,” featuring Sean Kingston. Kingston explained the plot of the video during a set visit with Rap-up.com . “The video is basically about this girl trying to play both of us and at the end … we end up both at the same place at one time, and she’s left with a stupid look on her face,” he explained. The video was shot at a house in the Hollywood Hills, and in it, Bieber is seen at a pool party holding hands, goofing around and dancing with a girl. Kingston, who has confessed to having “Bieber fever,” explains how he came to work with the chart-topping pop star. “I met Justin about two years ago before he was the teenage phenom that he is now,” he said. “I don’t really have that same chemistry with some celebrities. God just made it happen.” So, what kind of advice does Kingston have for his pal? “I tell him stay humble, keep God first and at the end of the day you’re a role model,” he advised. But that doesn’t mean he won’t let Bieber play around with his Ferrari. “He’s Justin Bieber. If he wrecks it, I’m sure a check won’t be a problem,” Kingston joked. Stephanie Pratt Predicts ‘Hills’ Stars’ Futures

‘I will have a closet the size of a house,’ Stephanie Pratt says about her future. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting by Larry Carroll Stephanie Pratt Photo: MTV News Though the upcoming season of “The Hills” will be its last, star Stephanie Pratt is confident that in just six seasons, the series has left its mark on the world of reality TV. “It’s hard to get nostalgic yet, since we just started filming this season, and it hasn’t even aired yet,” she told MTV News on the red carpet of the “Clash of the Titans” red carpet in L.A. on Wednesday night. “It’s definitely sad to know that we’re not going to see the crew every day. … I know I’ll see the girls all the time. And the legacy — it was such a huge phenomenon. It’s really, really special to be a part of something like this. The fact that it had six seasons, I think, says everything.” So, could she see a reunion in 30 years after the season debuts this April 27? “I think that would be really fun to do,” she said. “I don’t know about a show, but some kind of reunion to see what we all look like and stuff.” Pratt shared her predictions for what life after “The Hills” would hold for her and her friends. “I will have a closet the size of a house,” she mused. “That’s what I’m looking for. I just want a closet, a really big one. “Lo is gonna be married with kids. Brody will be like the bachelor, still getting all the hot Italian girls,” she joked. “Spencer and Heidi? I have no idea; they always surprise me. I really don’t even know what’s going on with them. And Audrina will be an actress. And Lauren will have 20 books under her belt.” What do you think the “Hills” crew will be do after the show’s finale? Nicole Scherzinger Scores Highest On ‘Dancing With The Stars’

The Pussycat Doll’s jive earned a 28 out of 30 on Monday’s show. By Jocelyn Vena Nicole Scherzinger (file) Photo: Chris Weeks/ Getty Images On Tuesday night (March 30), the first dancers will eliminated from the 10th season of “Dancing With the Stars,” but it looks like Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger will be pretty safe this week. On Monday night’s show, Scherzinger and her dance partner Derek Hough walked away with a score of 28 — and there’s little chance the voters at home will disagree with the judges’ assessment of their jive. Judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli all gave shining reviews of Scherzinger’s shimmy, calling it “well done,” “phenomenal” and “perfection.” “Derek. S.O.S. Jive. Spray tan. Silver costumes. Ponytail. Great shoes. Perfection,” Inaba said after the routine, done to Rihanna’s “S.O.S.” Scherzinger’s fear of competition from fellow sex symbol Pam Anderson may be unfounded. Anderson and partner Damien Whitewood only managed to muster up a 22. That still put her higher than Kate Gosselin (15), Chad Ochocinco (16), Buzz Aldrin (12) and soap star Aiden Turner (19). The judges did enjoy the way Anderson channeled Marilyn Monroe in her foxtrot. Tonioli called it “a well-executed, delicious tribute to the original blond bombshell.” The other contestants faired about on par with Anderson. Olympic figure-skater Evan Lysacek received a 24, comedian Niecy Nash managed a 21, “Bachelor” star Jake Pavelka a 20, ESPN reporter Erin Andrews got a 23, and Shannen Doherty received a 20. Who do you think will go home on Tuesday night? Who do you want to see stick around a little longer? Tell us in the comments! Related Artists Nicole Scherzinger

‘He’s always buying bride magazines,’ Perry reveals about Brand. By Jocelyn Vena, with reporting By Matt Elias Katy Perry Photo: MTV News Katy Perry and Russell Brand got engaged in December, and several months into the wedding planning, it seems that one of the pair has emerged as the bridezilla. It might not be the one you’re expecting … “Well, I have to plan my [new album, due this summer] first and then I’m going to get to my wedding,” she told MTV News on the orange carpet at the Kids’ Choice Awards — before she was extravagantly slimed at the show — over the weekend. “But I’m really excited about that, too.” Since Perry is so focused on her career, it’s a good thing that Brand is into the whole wedding process. “He’s a total bridezilla. He’s like a freak, man,” she shared about her fianc

‘Victorious’ Star Victoria Justice Is ‘Luckiest Girl In The World’

‘It’s such an awesome show and the writing is hilarious,’ she says of her new Nickelodeon sitcom. By Jocelyn Vena Victoria Justice on the set of “Victorious” Photo: MTV News “Victorious” is a new show on Nickelodeon about a young lady, Tori Vega, who finds herself smack dab in the middle of the drama that surrounds life at a performing arts high school. Making its premiere after the Kids’ Choice Awards , the show’s star, Victoria Justice, said that getting to star in her own show after playing supporting roles on other Nick shows like “Zoey 101” and “iCarly” has certainly proved to be a dream come true. “I just think it’s such an awesome show and the writing is hilarious,” Justice told MTV News on the show’s set. “My whole cast is amazingly talented, so I feel like the luckiest girl in the world.” While Justice certainly has a lot of Hollywood experience for someone of her young age, co-star Mark Bennett, who plays Robbie on the show, explained that her character Tori is still trying to figure out who she is as a performer. “[It’s] a show for people with dreams,” he said. “It’s a real Cinderella story. She’s trying to integrate herself into the Hollywood society.” Justice agreed. “She’s kind of figuring out how to express herself, and she loves singing and dancing and acting,” she said. “And then along the way she meets all these other crazy kids that go there.” So if her character loves singing and dancing, does that mean we will get to see Justice do both on the show? “We have all original music,” she said. “And I think there’s going to be a song every three or four episodes or so.” Are you excited for Victoria’s new show? Justin Bieber Keeping Kids’ Choice Awards Performance A Surprise

‘I don’t want to tell anyone,’ star says of his awards-show song choice. By Jocelyn Vena Justin Bieber Photo: MTV News On Saturday, Justin Bieber will be one of two performers at Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards — along with Rihanna, he will be hitting the stage for the annual awards show. And while he just missed the deadline to be nominated for any prizes, he does know that when he gets up there to sing, his fans will be surprised by what they get. Bieber is keeping any performance details under wraps. “I do know what I’m performing, but I don’t want to tell anyone,” he teased. “Were both performing, but not together.” Once he finishes his Kids’ Choice Awards performance, Bieber is also set to hit another iconic stage when he plays “Saturday Night Live” on April 10 , with Tina Fey as host. “I’m really excited. I’ve watched it all my life,” he said. “So it’s amazing to be able to perform.” And as if that wasn’t reason enough to celebrate, just this week he released his sophomore album, My World 2.0. On it, he has a collaboration with Ludacris, “Baby,” and Lil Wayne has also said that he wants to work with the teen star. “I would love to work with him in the future, but nothing so far,” he said. Does Bieber really have a swagger coach to thank for being accepted by hip-hop’s elite? “I mean, I just hang out with whoever. I’m also friends with Selena Gomez. I hang out with everyone,” he said, adding any rumors of a swagger coach have been greatly exaggerated. “I mean, it’s just a joke. It’s just something we made up. … I don’t know; I’m just myself.” Are you excited about Justin’s performance? Tell us in the comments! ‘Victorious’ Star Victoria Justice Talks ‘Fun’ New Show

‘I also get to perform original music and sing and dance,’ actress says of her new Nickelodeon show. By Jocelyn Vena Victoria Justice Photo: MTV News At age 17, Victoria Justice is already a household name to fans of Nickelodeon. With roles on shows like Shelby Marx on “iCarly” and Lola Martinez on “Zoey 101” already under her belt, she’s ready to make a name for herself as the star of her own show “Victorious,” playing the show’s lead, Victoria “Tori” Vega. The show is set to premiere on Saturday night (March 26) after the Kids’ Choice Awards, and Justice said that getting her own show is a lot more work than having a supporting role on someone else’s. “When I was on ‘Zoey 101’ I had a lot of time off,” she admitted to MTV News. “But now if I ever have time off I end up doing press interview, so I’m always busy.” Not that she’s complaining — she appreciates the opportunity she’s been given and she loves the work. But just what is her new show about? “I play a girl named Tori Vega and she’s kind of suddenly accepted to this performance arts high school, and from there it’s her dealing with all these crazy characters that go there and normal teen problems like trying to fit in and cute boys,” she explained. Not only will she be able to show off her acting skills week after week, but she says that the show gives her chance to show another side of herself. “I also get to perform original music and sing and dance,” she added. “[That] makes it a lot of fun.” Are you excited to see Victoria’s new show?
