One of those pals, fellow reality star and basketball wife La La Anthony, told MTV News she’s just trying to be a supportive friend. “Of course, I was surprised by the news,” Anthony told us Monday night on the red carpet of the Glamour Women of the Year event in New York City. “Anytime someone gets a divorce, it’s a difficult time. All I can do is be her friend and support her through every part of it, and that’s what I’m doing.” It’s been more than a week since Kim announced the breakup but she continues to make news. Over the weekend, the E! star not only visited her ex in Minnesota, but “Saturday Night Live” poked fun at the couple’s divorce news. In a sketch called “Kim’s Fairytale Divorce,” the Saturday night staple imagined what a special about the split would look like, including an over-the-top divorce preceding with Kim handing off dough to Humphries as he grunts. He did not treat me the way he was supposed to and I accepted his apology because I feel like he’s remorseful for how he treated me. It was a nice gesture. Do you think Kanye West wants you back? Penn State, Football Program Rocked by Sex Scandal

The Penn State athletic department is facing serious charges of covering up sexual abuse, following an indictment of former defensive coordinator Jerry Sandusky on 40 counts, including inappropriate touching and statutory rape. Sandusky, who retired in 1999, is accused of abusing eight boys over a 15-year period; while athletic director Timothy Curley and Vice President of Business and Finance Gary Schultz resigned from the university last night and have been charged with perjury and failure to report Sandusky’s behavior to police. The latter two face seven years in prison if convicted. Sandusky faces life behind bars. Iconic football coach Joe Paterno – who holds the record for most wins in the history of Division I – says an assistant coach told him of an incident between Sandusky and a young male in 2002. He passed that information along to Curley. “If true, the nature and amount of charges made are very shocking to me and all Penn Staters,” Paterno said in a statement. “While I did what I was supposed to with the one charge brought to my attention, like anyone else involved I can’t help but be deeply saddened these matters are alleged to have occurred. “I understand that people are upset and angry, but let’s be fair and let the legal process unfold. In the meantime I would ask all Penn Staters to continue to trust in what that name represents, continue to pursue their lives every day with high ideals and not let these events shake their beliefs nor who they are.”

Kris Jenner seriously needs to STFU. In a new interview with Extra , the managerial matriarch is asked why daughter Kim Kardashian went to visit ex-husband Kris Humphries in Minnesota this week, a trip that extended this disgusting story for another few days and led to talk of reconciliation . Just take a look at the complete and utter nonsense this businesswoman spewed : “Kim is a hopeless romantic. So she wants the fairy tale. She wanted to get married and have babies and raise a family and the white picket fence and all that comes with that. She’s a really good person with a huge heart. “Whatever decisions Kim is making right now, she’s a very smart girl and she’s gonna do the right thing. All I can do is wrap my arms around her gobs of money and make sure she’s okay.” We kan’t even handle this woman klaiming that the same woman who made a sex tape… got married on TV to someone after just a few months of dating… and followed that up with a divorce 72 days later, is merely a “hopeless romantic.” We need to just turn this over to our readers and ask: What do you think is going on with Kim’s trip to see her ex?

It’s pretty much the definition of irony that Kim Kardashian, a person devoid of personality or talent who nevertheless cultivated an empire based solely on people paying attention to her at all times, is now in seclusion because she can’t deal with the scrutiny. Since canceling her Australian appearances and returning to LA, Kim is MIA. She went to great lengths at LAX to conceal her true location , switching cars mid-ride to lose the paparazzi, and disappearing to a secret hideout indefinitely. Reports say that in the wake of filing for divorce from Kris Humphries , Kim will be hiding, completely shielded from public view for the first time in her adult life, until she begins filming on the Tyler Perry movie Marriage Counselor . That means missing her mother’s birthday and Lamar Odom’s birthday dinner. Sources say the attention surrounding the divorce is “just too much for her.” Only her family and a few close friends know where she is. Perhaps most astonishingly, she hasn’t even allowed a reality TV crew to film any of this. She really just wants to be left alone and thinks that the public and the media are being too harsh on her in this most difficult time. But are we?

Is Kate Middleton pregnant? The Duchess has ignited speculation that she is expecting once again after a visit to a UNICEF distribution center in Copenhagen, Denmark. With Prince William at her side, Kate avoided a certain food product as they sampled items from UNICEF aid packages sent to famine-stricken East African countries. While members of the Danish royal family and William tasted peanut paste, Kate politely refused and reportedly gave her husband of six months a knowing look. Doctors have frequently recommended pregnant women avoid peanuts and byproducts while expecting in order to help prevent allergies in their babies-to-be. What’s more, The Palace itself even “went out of their way to stress that she has no nut allergy whatsoever,” an editor for Britain’s The Sun told ABC News. Whenever William and Kate Middleton welcome their first child, he or she will inherit the throne. The rules were changed to allow a first-born daughter to rule. If they have a girl first, that is. The UK monarchy recently agreed that a first-born girl should be able to ascend the throne even if she has younger brothers. Still, pregnancy speculation or not, Middleton is certainly not displaying any bump just yet; Britain’s Best Dressed was slim and stylish as ever in Denmark. Congratulations … maybe!
