Acknowledging a few mistakes made on the first season of The X Factor – too much judge bickering, overly involved production numbers – Simon Cowell told People Magazine this week he’ll evaluate all aspect of the show for season two and that 2012 will be a “bloodbath.” We assume the producer was talking about the on-air competition, but might he also have been referring to backstage changes on the way? Nicole Scherzinger – Pretty (Live on The X Factor) With rumors that Steve Jones won’t be asked back as host, Nicole Scherzinger recently laid the groundwork for her departure, as well. “Next year for me, it’s about my music,” the singer told Radar Online. “This has been quite a learning experience, quite a journey for me. I didn’t expect to have been so emotional through the whole elimination process. I wanted to just mentor and empower artists.” Scherzinger said she had planned to release an album in 2011, but her judging gig was too “time consuming.” Will you miss Nicole as a judge if she leaves?
