Man Beats Girlfriend With Banana Because She Didn’t Help Him Detoxify A Florida man is facing multiple battery charges after he got angry at his girlfriend for refusing to help him detoxify his urine and tried to choke her, slapped her, threatened to kill himself and then threw bananas and a metal comb at her according to News Press : The Cape Coral Police Department said they were called to the NW 9th Street address Tuesday morning on a report of an assault. A woman who said she was the girlfriend of Derek Charles Jeunegens, 18, told police that he had come home intoxicated Monday morning and told her to buy him “detox” because he was on probation and wanted his urine to test clean. When the girlfriend refused, the report said Jeunegens began yelling at her, bruised her arms by grabbing her and tossing her on the bed, caused her to cut her tongue when he shoved her mouth closed when she screamed for help, and then choked her five times. The woman said Jeunegens also slapped her, pulled her hair and slammed the back of her head against a wall. The report said that Jeunegens then started crying, got a knife from the kitchen and said he would kill himself. A friend at the home was able to stop him from harming himself and also started to record the incident on a cell phone. Police said the cellphone video recorded Jeunegens telling the girlfriend “you needed to be choked,” that she deserved it and threatening her family if she snitched on him. The report said that Jeunegens continued being aggressive and started throwing bananas at his girlfriend, which hit the woman, and also threw a metal comb at her twice, narrowly missing her. The woman then left the home. Police said digital photos taken of the woman show multiple bruises and a cut on her tongue. What the hell is in the water in Florida!?
Teenager Arrested In Stabbing Death Of Step-Cousin An 18-year-old Georgia high school student was arrested after stabbing her step-cousin to death after an argument on Saturday morning. By all accounts, the girls were best friends and had no prior history of violence toward one another, much less disagreements or fights. The two were just seen declaring how much they love each other on Twitter only two weeks before the tragic and seemingly random murder took place. Via MailOnline : Smith had slept over at Hebert’s house the night before after the cousins attended a football game at Allatoona High School, where Hebert was a senior. The girls were close and often spent time together, Hebert’s father Steve told 11 Alive. But just before 9am the girls got into a fight that turned physical in the kitchen and Smith stabbed her cousin with a knife, according to a criminal warrant obtained by WSBTV. Smith then chased Hebert outside and got on top of her and stabbed her multiple times, a neighbor told police. Smith told police the cousins had smoked what they ‘suspected’ was marijuana, according to court records obtained by WSBTV. Police said she later admitted to stabbing Hebert while under the influence, documents state. Investigators plan to test blood from Smith as well as search cars and homes to try and figure out exactly if the girls had taken any drugs and what those specific substances were. Philly Man Dies In Violent Home Robbery After Posting $60K Photo On Facebook Philadelphia police are investigating whether or not a Facebook post played a part in a violent home robbery that left the home owner shot dead. Via CBS News : Police say 50-year-old Tony Harris was shot dead after three armed men stormed his house around 11 p.m. Monday. The suspects apparently stormed the Kingsessing neighborhood home with one goal in mind. “[They] entered through their front door all brandishing guns, demanding the money. ‘Where is the money,’” Police Captain James Clark told CBS Philly. His family believes that a Facebook post dated Oct. 5 is what made them targets, according to the station. In it, Harris reportedly jokes about misplacing $60,000. Police say Harris was surrounded in the living room, while his wife was allegedly held at gunpoint in the kitchen. Their children were reportedly all asleep upstairs. The victim’s wife told CBS Philly she overheard the suspects threatening to harm her if he didn’t stop moving. He was later shot. The alleged robbers likely got away with nothing, according to the station. Police told CBS Philly that they were aware of the post and are looking into it as a possible motive.
