Breaking Dawn Part 2: New Photos, Awkward Poses

This has suddenly become more awkward than exciting. The latest issue of Entertainment Weekly features Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in an embrace. No, they haven’t made up. They are simply in character as Edward and Bella in Breaking Dawn Part 2 . Pattinson tells the magazine that this installment of The Twilight Saga is “stranger than all the other films put together,” a comment that takes on new meaning in light of Stewart’s cheating scandal . Summit Entertainment, however, has said that promotion of the blockbuster will continue as planned, while director Bill Condon simply urges fans to show the ex-couple some respect . Kristen Stewart Moves Fast in New On the Road Trailer

Kristen Stewart has been in the news a lot lately, but less so for her movies. But the latest international trailer for On the Road is out, so perhaps a small diversion is due. The film is the first real attempt to bring Jack Kerouac’s legendary novel of the same title to screen, over 30 years after Francis Ford Coppola bought the rights to the book. Walter Salles directs the film, which had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in May . On the Road stars Stewart, Garrett Hedlund, Kirsten Dunst and Sam Riley. The film features Riley (ControL) as Sal, who falls under the spell of the intoxicatingly charming Dean Moriarty (Hedlund), who himself chases around America for freedom and an elusive “It.” Standing in as surrogates for Kerouac and Beat poet Neal Cassady, respectively, Sal and Dean travel around the country indulging in drink, drugs, sex, fast driving and the whims of youth hellbent on not conforming to post-WWII America. “I like pushing and watching a genuine experience on screen,” Stewart said in Cannes. “The reason I wanted to do the job was to be provoked as much as possible and then to do it and take it further. We were just going forth, and as long as you’re being honest there’s nothing to be ashamed of.”

Many Twihards may not want to hear it, especially when Robert Pattinson is rumored to be hitting the bottle extra hard these days, but Kristen Stewart is in rough shape. Multiple sources confirm the actress is torn apart by her affair, the pain from which was evident in her initial public apology . But while most Robsten supporters likely believe Kristen deserves everything she’s feeling and experiencing, at least one friend remains in her corner. Actress Scout Taylor Compton, with whom Stewart has been close for years, Tweeted the following messages this week: please understand i support, care, and love my friends like you all do with yours, but also understand privacy should always be respected… wish i could take people’s pain away. THAT would be my superpower… its a pain and hurt that will never be erased. Do you care, Twilight Saga fans? Do you feel any pity at all for Stewart and the mistakes she has made? Or do you feel as if no punishment could be harsh enough for the woman who drove Robert Pattinson to despair?

Robert Pattinson: Driven to Drinking by Kristen Stewart?

Will Ferrell is not the only person broken up by Kristen Stewart cheating on Robert Pattinson with Rupert Sanders. Also really sad over the course of events? Robert Pattinson himself. Reporter Carlos Greer tells People that the actor is ” heartbroken and angry ,” while sources spill to the magazine that “he’s been drinking and relying on friends to deal with the pain.” Other outlets, meanwhile, report that Pattinson has returned to the most dangerous habit of all: smoking. The star is reportedly holed up inside Reese Witherspoon’s vacation home in California and we’ll mostly likely see him in public again on August 13 when Cosmopolis premieres in New York City. As for the woman who destroyed Rob’s spirit? Greer says Stewart feels terrible. She is “remorseful” and “beating herself up over this.”
