‘Twilight’ Trio Should Do A Comedy, Taylor Lautner Says

‘Our relationships together are quite hilarious,’ he tells MTV News of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart. By Terri Schwartz, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner at the premiere of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1″ Photo: Kevin Winter/ Getty Images LOS ANGELES — ” The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 ” black carpet was a bittersweet experience for fans of the series, as it marked the penultimate “Twilight” premiere. But leading man Taylor Lautner was only looking to the future when he caught up with MTV News during the live stream of the event. In fact, he wasn’t even looking at the “Breaking Dawn” films as being the last time he’d be in a film with his co-stars, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart . Sure, there’s nothing more we as fans would love than for Lautner to star in another movie with Robsten in the near future, regardless what the genre was. But the 19-year-old “Abduction” star has one specific type of movie in mind for their movie reunion: a comedy. “If I did a film again with them, I’d like to do a comedy. A super, super funny movie,” Lautner said. “I think they’re funny, especially when they’re together. Our relationships together are quite hilarious, so it would be a funny movie, for sure.” So would it end up with him taking his shirt off again? “If the role requires it and I’m in love with it, then we’ll see,” he said. Fortunately for fans of Lautner’s now-famous set of abs, his shirt apparently comes off within the opening minutes of “Breaking Dawn.” He might not be the biggest fan of the attention he gets for his sexy bod nowadays, but it seems like he’s willing to take it off to keep the fans happy. After all, they certainly have shown their dedication to the “Twilight” franchise. “I don’t know if I could think of one thing,” Lautner said when asked what he’ll remember most from the “Twilight Saga” red carpets. “But the obvious thing to think of is all of these fans, them showing up again and again. Last year when they came out, they camped out for days. I thought, ‘That’s amazing. There’s no way they’ll do it next year.’ Sure enough, they did it. It’s unbelievable.” Stick with MTV News as we roll out even more from our “Breaking Dawn” premiere live stream! ‘Twilight’ Fans Bond Over Vampire Love In ‘Tent City’

‘I would have come two weeks ago if they would have let me,’ one camper tells MTV News outside ‘Breaking Dawn’ premiere. By Kara Warner A fan attends the “Breaking Dawn” premiere in Los Angeles Photo: Getty Images LOS ANGELES — Here at MTV News, we’ve been celebrating the highly anticipated release of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” with a flurry of “Twilight”-related activity. Now it’s time to spotlight the very dedicated, passionate fanbase. On Saturday, we headed out to “Twilight” fan central, fondly referred to as “tent city,” where more than 900 people had already set up camp ahead of tonight’s Los Angeles premiere. (Join MTV.com live from the red carpet at 8 p.m. ET!) “I got here at 12 a.m. Wednesday night,” Megan Lambert told us in front of her “Team Jacob”-themed tent. Lambert holds the #2 spot in line and is hoping for a hug from Taylor Lautner at the premiere. Campers Lisa Paulosky, Emily Chadduck and Christy Brolezi bonded over their love for “Twilight” and formed a Facebook group ahead of the premiere for fellow fans who wanted to camp out. Several members traveled a considerable distance to be there. “I came from Chicago,” Paulosky said. “I came from New Mexico,” Chadduck admitted. They all want one thing on Monday: a Robert Pattinson encounter. “I need to take a picture with Rob,” Brolezi said. “My heart will break if I don’t.” The most creative fan group award goes to the ladies behind the Facebook group Kristen Stewart’s Hot Bodyguard, a.k.a. Team HBG. Unsurprisingly, the ladies are hoping for a photo opp with Kristen and their main man, HBG. “We have a special present for HBG that we’ve been holding onto for a year,” founding member Lynsey Jacob told us. We also happened upon a young male fan, who wasn’t at all shy about his love for the lady vampires, particularly Nikki Reed. “I’m Team Vampires,” Cody Huddleston said with a smile. The dedication among these fans is a marvel, and they would have camped out sooner if they could have. “I would have come two weeks ago if they would have let me,” Shannon Berry said. “I would have come a month ago.” Tonight, join MTV.com live from the “Breaking Dawn – Part 1” red-carpet premiere as we talk to your favorite stars about all things “Twilight”! Robert Downey Jr., Jude Law Go ‘Bigger’ In ‘Sherlock Holmes 2’

We caught up with the ‘Game of Shadows’ stars and director Guy Ritchie on London set of the detective sequel. By Kevin P. Sullivan, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Robert Downey Jr. and Jude Law Photo: MTV News It’s one thing to breathe new life into a literary icon. Robert Downey Jr. , Jude Law and director Guy Ritchie did that two years ago with “Sherlock Holmes,” a quasi-Steampunk take on Arthur Conan Doyle’s legendary detective. The real challenge comes when you have to do it again. The trio are set to give it another go on December 16, when the sequel, “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows,” hits theaters. MTV News’ Josh Horowitz traveled all the way to the London set of the film to talk to Downey, Law and Ritchie about recreating the magic of the first film and just why Holmes and Watson make for such compelling characters. We also discovered there was consensus among the three men about the approach for this film: bigger. “I’m too close to be objective about this now, but originally when we were constructing this conceptually, we just wanted to make it bigger,” Ritchie said. “We wanted to make it bigger and better, and I’m not sure if you can be more eloquent than that.” Ritchie told us that with the first movie out of the way, he “knows the identity” of the films better than ever and can take everything to the next level. “I supposed I stuck my toe in the water creatively on the last one. I’m probably a little bit more confident about who these guys are,” he said. In “Game of Shadows,” the action jumps into the future a bit, taking place more than a few months after the first film. Watson has moved out of 221 Baker Street, and Holmes is in tough shape and deeply obsessed with one of literature’s greatest villains, Professor James Moriarty, played in the new film by Jared Harris . No reimagining of Holmes would be complete without a take on his arch-nemesis, and Ritchie said that Harris is up to the task. “I’m not saying this because it’s what directors are supposed to say, but I do believe Jared is a fantastic Moriarty, and you are dealing with arguably the most infamous villain in the history of literature, so it’s no mean feat.” For the two heroes of the story, Downey and Law said they could endlessly revisit Holmes and Watson. Asked why, Downey got straight to the point. “The money and the merch!” he laughed Taking a more serious note, Law explained that it’s the chemistry between the two characters that will always be fascinating. “They’re just interesting. They’re very, very interesting. The dynamic is always fresh,” Law said. The pair is so dynamic, in fact, that it’s often hard to tell what kind of reaction a scene between them will elicit. “We’ve done stuff which we’re cracking up over and we think is so funny, and we watch it back over and in fact, it’s very touching,” Law said. “We think, ‘Where did that come from?’ And vice versa, we’ll do stuff we’re desperately trying to make this heartfelt moment, and it’s nothing short of broad and really funny.” “It’s a discovery process,” Downey agreed. Check out everything we’ve got on “Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows.” For breaking news, celebrity columns, humor and more — updated around the clock — visit MTVMoviesBlog.com .

Jackson Rathbone Relives ‘Breaking Dawn’ Screening

‘As soon as Taylor ripped off his shirt, we all tried to yell as much as possible,’ he laughs to MTV News. By Kara Warner, with reporting by Josh Horowitz Jackson Rathbone Photo: MTV News In addition to the whole fame-and-fortune package that comes with being a member of the “Twilight” cast, one of the additional benefits is that you get to see the finished film before anyone else. When MTV News caught up with “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” star Jackson Rathbone recently, we asked him to talk about his first-time viewing experience. “I got a nice little private screening,” Rathbone said. “There were about six [castmembers] in the theater. I was saying, ‘This is what it would be like watching “Twilight” if no one liked it,’ ” he joked. “If it had failed, that’s exactly what it would have been like: six people in the theater.” In all seriousness, however, Rathbone said he and his co-stars had a lot of fun watching the film together and interacting with the screen. “As soon as Taylor [Lautner] ripped off his shirt, we all tried to yell as much as possible to supplement the lack of little teenage girls [screaming],” he said. “It was fun. We had a good time with it. Nikki [Reed] and I were making fun of each other the whole movie. Any time one of us would come onscreen, we’d poke each other,” he said with a laugh. In addition to those swoon-worthy shirtless moments, Lautner has promised us that we’ll be shedding some tears. “You are going to face a lot of emotions, definitely,” he teased. “You are going to be angry. I guarantee you [that] you will cry multiple times.” Tonight, join MTV.com live from the “Breaking Dawn – Part 1” red-carpet premiere as we talk to your favorite stars about all things “Twilight”! Kristen Stewart is about to give birth. On screen, that is. To a half-human/half-vampire baby. What was filming this key Breaking Dawn scene like? “I was so excited, actually,” Stewart told Jimmy Kimmel on Friday about shooting this major Twilight Saga event. “It is so intense, as a normal birth would be, but this is even more so.” The actress – who will also star in Snow White and the Huntsman , a summer blockbuster whose first trailer you can view HERE – was also asked about the honor of having her hands and footprints cemented outside Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood. Watch her talk about that and other topics in the two videos below. Kristen Stewart on Jimmy Kimmel Live: Part One Kristen Stewart on Jimmy Kimmel Live: Part Two

Watch the Snow White and the Huntsman Teaser Trailer: Breaking Dwarf

Here’s what I’ve gathered from the new Snow White and the Huntsman trailer: Charlize Theron ‘s Evil Queen is pissed, Kristen Stewart ‘s Snow White is innocent, and the color saturation of this fairytale world looks like a Crayola-dappled Middle Earth. Pretty spectacular.
