Breaking: Nelly & Rape Accuser Agree To Dismiss Assault Case Against Rapper

PARIS, FRANCE – JANUARY 23: Nelly poses with Shantel Jackson at the Ralph&Russo Haute Couture After Party Spring Summer 2017 show as part of Paris Fashion Week on January 23, 2017 in Paris, France. (Photo by Samir Hussein/Samir Hussein/WireImage) Monique Greene Accused Rapper Of Raping Her In 2017 The woman who accused Nelly of raping her after a nightclub appearance last year has dramatically dropped the case against the rapper, BOSSIP has learned. Monique Greene and Nelly filed paperwork earlier this week agreeing to toss the civil rape case, which accused Nelly of luring her to his tour bus and attacking her following a concert at a Seattle nightclub in late 2017. Each side will pay their own legal fees, but it was unclear Thursday whether a financial settlement was in play. The case was acrimonious from the get-go, with Greene, 21, accusing Nelly, 43, of smearing her reputation before she even filed the suit with lies about her character. Nelly meanwhile insisted that their encounter was consensual and accused Greene of trying to inflame public opinion against him with her claims in court documents. We’ve reached out to lawyers for both Nelly and Greene for comment.

Brooklyn Catholic Church Reaches Historic $27.5 Million Settlement With 4 Sexually Abused Boys

Image via DOCC Diocese Of Brooklyn Settles $27.5 Million Sexual Assault Lawsuit Wow. This is certainly a shock . According to the NYDailyNews , there has been historic lawsuit settlement between the Catholic church and 4 boys who claimed they were sexually abused by their teacher at the Diocese of Brooklyn. This settlement is reportedly the largest that has ever arisen as a result of sexual abuse in the Catholic church. Angelo Serrano worked at St. Lucy-St. Patrick Catholic church from 2003 to 2009 and plead guilty to a inappropriate sexual conduct with a child and was sentenced to 15 years. To make matters worse, the judge also found that two preists, Rev. Frank Shannon and the Rev. Stephen Lynch, had awareness of Serrano’s behavior and did absolutely nothing about it. “Lynch and Shannon had knowledge that for years Serrano often had several boys … sleep over at his apartment,” Justice Loren Baily-Schiffman wrote… Lynch also testified that he saw Serrano kiss an 8- or 9-year-old boy on the lips and “inappropriately embrace” him, according to Saghir. This is likely just the tip of the sexual abuse iceberg for the Catholic church. There has been FAR too much smoke over the years for there to be NO fire. Hopefully this starts a trend where the church is held responsible for whatever part they may have played in allowing this sick s#!t to happen.

Travis is said to have no plans on removing Francis from “Carousel”. He likes it just the way it is and that’s that on that.

“Bad Girls Club” Shannade Clermont Pleads Not Guilty In Federal Fraud Case (Exclusive)

Clermont Twins outside of Manhattan Federal Court. Photo by Jennifer H. Cunningham Reality Starlet Arraigned On Fraud Charges Following Paid Date “Bad Girls Club” alum Shannade Clermont denied claims that she raided $20,000 from a dead man’s bank account following what the Feds characterized as a “prostitution date.” Clermont was in Manhattan Federal Court Monday for her arraignment on charges of aggravated identity theft, conspiracy to commit wire fraud and access device fraud. “Not guilty,” Clermont said in a soft voice when Judge Naomi Buchwald asked her to plead. If convicted, she faces more than 40 years in federal prison. Federal prosecutor Sagar Ravi asked for a six-week adjournment so that the defense could review evidence in the case – including bank info and emails from three different accounts – as well as discuss possible plea deals. The judge agreed, and Clermont is now due back in October. Clermont Twins outside Manhattan Federal Court. Photo by Jennifer H. Cunningham Clermont, dressed in quirky sunglasses and a designer blouse, was accompanied by her twin sister, Shannon, along with several family members for the five-minute hearing. Relatives of her alleged victim were also in court, but declined to comment. Clermont said she didn’t want to comment outside court, but her lawyer Jeffrey Lichtman said the hearing went as expected, but it was too early to say whether his client would take a plea deal because he’d yet to review the evidence in the case. “The prosecution has been fair and understanding, and that’s what we expect,” Lichtman told us. “I hope that this case is resolved fairly soon.”

Blake Griffin Ordered To Pay Bank-Breakin’ Baby Mama Brynn Cameron $258,000 Child Support Per Month

Image via Gene Sweeney Jr./Getty Images Blake Griffin To Pay $258,000 Per Month In Child Support COTDAMN!!! We’ve heard some outrageous figures for child support before, but this is…wow. According to RadarOnline , Pistons baller Blake Griffin has been ordered to pay his baby mama Brynn Cameron $258,000 per MONTH in child support. Brynn birthed both of Blake’s children, Ford Wilson, 5, and Finley Elaine, 2. Blake and Brynn have been tied up in a UGLY paternity battle in addition to a civil lawsuit where Brynn claims that Blake deaded their engagement and left her for Kendall Jenner. In that Feb. 14 suit, Cameron said Griffin — who is now dating model Francesca Aiello after splitting from Jenner in April — refused to “provide promised financial support” even after he asked her to “give up her career goals and aspirations to raise their children and support” his career. Back in January Brynna claimed that Blake kicked her and their kids out of his mansion and left her essentially homeless with only $100 in her bank account. Blake Griffin just finished the first year of a 5-year contract worth upwards of $171 million. He’s set to bring in $32 million next season. For those of you who aren’t great at math, this means that Brynn will clock $3,096,000 per year and $55,728,000 over the course of 18 years. Oh, by the way, Brynn also has a son with former NFL quarterback Matt Leinart. That chick is eating good. Reactions are everything from ashy to hilarious. Flip it over.

The plane had been delayed on the tarmac for over four hours and passengers were getting restless — but when they saw the heavy rains outside, the refused to deplane and the captain cranked that air conditioning on them. Jesus Take The Headphones: Dr. Dre And Jimmy Iovine Are Fighting A $100M Beats Royalty Lawsuit

Desiree Navarro/WireImage Jimmy Iovine & Dr. Dre Are Fighting A Huge Beats Royalty Lawsuit Having one of the biggest headphone brands in the game isn’t always glorious–take it from the guys behind Beats. The origin of  Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine’s  Beats company is currently under debate in Los Angeles Superior Court, because entrepreneur Steven Lamar is suing the duo for allegedly screwing him out of a whopping $100 million in royalties. Lamar is claiming that he’s the one who brought the idea of a celebrity-endorsed headphone line to Dre and Iovine all the way back in 2006, according to reports from  Billboard . After the trio went through a falling out, Iovine and Dre sued him, and both parties ended up eventually settling. With the settlement came these conditions: Lamar relinquished his rights in exchange for four percent royalties of every headphone sold thereafter. Thereafter, Beats started designing and selling newer models, and as you probably already know, the pair eventually sold the company to Apple for a smooth $3 billion. Now, the issue is whether or not Lamar is owed royalties for the models sold after their initial settlement was made, or if the former Beats owners owe him a substantial amount more. The judge originally rejected Lamar’s claim that they owe him anything, but a California appeals court thought otherwise and revived the lawsuit two years ago, stating that the royalty agreement both parties initially agreed to was “ambiguous.” The current proceedings revolve around the debate as to whether or not the agreement was about one particular product, or any future iterations and models. In the proceedings, Lamar introduced a PowerPoint presentation containing slides from the early days of Beats, where he brainstormed various models that he, Dre, and Iovine would collaborate on in the future. Right now, this entire matter is currently for the Los Angeles Superior Court to wade through—but something like this can sure take a while.

In White Folks News: ‘Sesame Street’ Creators Sue Production Company Behind Melissa McCarthy’s New Movie

Mike Smith/NBC/NBCU Photo Bank via Getty Images Melissa McCarthy’s New Film Sparks Lawsuit From Sesame Street Creators The creators of Sesame Street are suing the production company behind a new  Melissa McCarthy  comedy, that features “ejaculating puppets” which resemble the children’s show’s beloved characters, according to court docs. Sesame Workshop filed the suit claiming that the producers behind The Happytime Murders  are making a “deliberate attempt” to appropriate their brand in order to promote their film. The lawsuit reads: “Defendants’ widely-distributed marketing campaign features a just-released trailer with explicit, profane, drug-using, misogynistic, violent, copulating, and even ejaculating puppets, along with the tagline ‘NO SESAME. ALL STREET.” The comedy is set to be released in August, and is a murder mystery that revolves around puppets who exhibit raunchy, adult behavior. Sesame Workshop is alleging that the misuse of its brand infringes on its “intellectual property rights.” The company is imploring the movie to drop the “NO SESAME” slogan from their ads while seeking compensatory and punitive damages. A spokesman for the movie production company, STX, released a statement that proved the film is standing it’s ground. “STX loved the idea of working closely with Brian Henson and the Jim Henson Company to tell the untold story of the active lives of Henson puppets when they’re not performing in front of children,” read a statement attributed to a puppet character named Fred, Esq. It went on to say, “While we’re disappointed that Sesame Street does not share in the fun, we are confident in our legal position. We look forward to introducing adult moviegoers to our adorably unapologetic characters this summer.”

Exclusive: The Game Denies Reality Show Co-Star’s Claim That He Violated Court Orders In $7.1 Million Sex Abuse Case

The Game Appealing $7.1 Million Judgment In Favor Of “She’s Got Game” Co-Star Priscilla Rainey The Game has come out swinging against his former “She’s Got Game” co-star’s claim that he violated a court order in her $7.1 million sex assault win against him. Last month, Priscilla Rainey filed a motion for civil contempt against the “This Is How We Do” rapper, alleging that he flouted the judge’s orders by providing shoddy answers to her requests for his financial information. Her lawyer said under oath that The Game didn’t provide one answer or document in his response to her evidence demand. But The Game said he did in fact respond to her requests for financial documentation, and if his answers weren’t to her liking, she never followed up with him and instead went blabbing to the judge. He said that he had a right to object to several of Rainey’s requests under the law, and said the woman tried to “punish” The Game instead of following up with him to resolve it. Rainey sued The Game, accusing him of groping her private parts while on an after hours date while filming “She’s Got Game.” A jury later sided with her and awarded her $7.1 million, but The Game appealed the decision, and that case is now making it’s way through the courts. The Game wants the judge to deny Rainey’s civil contempt motion, and force her to pay his lawyers fees. A judge is now set to rule on the matter next week.
