Meanwhile, in more crucial news, Leah headed to rehab, and not a moment too soon, with three little kids impacted by her addiction. “Do you think that after you go to this rehab you’ll be able to be better?” Miranda Patterson, Corey Simms’ current wife, asked Messer. “I’m not going to say I was a bad mom,” Leah responded, defending herself and still in denial even now. “There is no drug problem.” Simms, Leah’s ex-husband and the father of her twin girls, said, “I think I know that there’s a drug problem and you’re afraid to tell me.” She only got more defensive from there. Later, Leah appeared to drift in and out of consciousness while holding a relative’s baby, furthering everyone’s concern for her safety. “The rumor around town she takes anything she can get her damn hands on,” Corey told Miranda, referring to Leah’s drug woes. Denial or not, she did go to get help. “I have to leave my babies for a month,” Leah told her mom. “I know I have to do this for them. The person I used to be is fading away.” “That means I can’t be the mom I want to be for them. The person I know I could be and I will be again is crying for help inside me.” We wish her nothing but the best. In Delaware, Jo Rivera was settling into his new pad right near Kailyn Lowry … who soon decided that it was time to hit the road. There’s such a thing as too close. “Joe’s moving into the development and we’re moving out,” she said, “but I don’t feel bad because we’re not going to be far.” There’s no real beef, either. He didn’t cheat on me either. None of us have.” “I need to see a dramastic change.” That’s not a typo. She said dramastic . Leah Messer does not hold back when it comes to new relationships. Rumor has it she’s already moving in with her latest lover, T.R. Dues. Less than two months after finalizing her divorce from Jeremy Calvert, she’s already moved on – and plans on moving in – with T.R. Dues . “Leah and T.R. are now living in a big house with lots of room,” a source close to the oft-troubled 23-year-old MTV star tells Radar . The new place is located in Charleston, W.V. Messer, 23, and her personal trainer boyfriend of a few months are not only caring for her children – a daunting task – but his as well. She has 5-year-old twins, Ali and Aleeah, with first ex-husband Corey Simms, 25, and a 2-year-old daughter Adalynn with Calvert. He brings sons Tyshawn, 8 and Angelo, 4, to the home, and while his mom battles health issues, Leah takes care of his kids as well. Messer checked into rehab this spring, amid concerns of a mental breakdown and/or a prescription drug addiction, then checked out. She has barely spent a second alone. Just a week after leaving the out-of-state treatment facility, she was house hunting with T.R., and likely giving Corey an anxiety attack. Somehow we don’t expect this to go over well at the former spouses’ next custody hearing, given that she’s already on thin ice with him.
As depicted in the first Teen Mom 2 trailer , Leah Messer is… well… a mess these days. In the footage, released this week by MTV, viewers see Corey Simms confront the mother of his five-year old twins about a “problem,” clearly referring to Messer’s drug use . We later witness an out-of-it Leah seemingly nod off in front of the camera. “I’ve been accused of being an unfit mom and abusing drugs,” Messer admits in the promo. And although Leah is NOT admitting that today, insiders have confirmed to Us Weekly that Leah has entered a 30-day rehab program – for stress and depression. This jibes with an earlier report that Messer had agreed to seek professional assistance, though that report cited drug use as the basis . With Simms having recently sought full custody of the kids he shares with Messer, it’s very possible she made this decision in order to appease the court. The Teen Mom 2 star has been going through an awful lot of late. After three years of marriage, Leah and husband Jeremy Calvert – with whom she has a daughter named Addie – are headed for a divorce, multiple outlets have confirmed. It’s been more than a year since it was first reported that troubled mother of three Leah Messer is battling a prescription pill addiction . Now, sources say the troubled Teen Mom 2 star is finally getting help. According to In Touch magazine, Messer checked into rehab on May 3, following a tearful goodbye from her three daughters. “She’ll be gone for a month,” a source close to Leah tells the magazine. “She wants her girls to visit.” As for the reports that Messer is seeking treatment for mental health issues and not for drug addiction, the insider claims that’s a lie. One propagated by Leah and her mother in order to protect Leah’s reputation and save her from future custody battles with her two ex husbands. “She’s still telling people she’s going away for therapy,” the insider explains. “They’re hoping her denial doesn’t stop her from making a fresh start.” It was rumored that Leah was doing better in recent months and had made the decision to sober up and focus on her her children in the wake of her split from Jeremy Calvert. However, recent events seem to have pushed the pride of West Virginia over the edge and back into the vicious circle of addiction. First, Calvert filed for divorce in a move that reportedly blindsided Messer. Shortly thereafter, it was reported that Jeremy had been cheating with Melissa Marie while he was still married to the mother of his daughter. This flies in the face of Bobbi Kristina’s words, as she announced to the world that she wed Gordon and referred to him as an “incredible husband” last year.
