Miley Cyrus Turns Down Prom Invite, Makes Counteroffer

Give Matt Peterson plenty of props for trying. The Arizona high school student asked Miley Cyrus to the prom last week, stripping down to nearly nothing while doing so. A long-time fan, Peterson met the singer years ago at a radio station and tells Miley in the following video: “You changed my life, and I want to repay you by giving you the best night of your life.”  Teenager Asks Miley Cyrus to Prom Sadly, though, he won’t get the chance. “Dear Matt Peterson, I don’t think I’ll be able to make it to prom BUT why don’t you come to my AZ show & hang w me? Don’t forget a corsage.” Awww, that’s not a terrible counter proposal. Let’s hope Peterson accepts. Cyrus, meanwhile, recently made like the young man who crushes on her. Dylan Farrow: Woody Allen is a Liar and Child Molester, Will Not Silence Me

Just hours after Woody Allen broke his silence regarding child molestation accusations made by daughter Dylan Farrow, she’s back with a rebuttal of her own. The acclaimed film director penned an open letter to the New York Times insisting that he did not sexually assault the then-seven-year-old, as she says. He also claimed that her mother, Mia Farrow, “coached her” to say Dylan Farrow was molested by him . But in response, Dylan stands by her story. “Once again, Woody Allen is attacking me and my family in an effort to discredit and silence me, but nothing he says or writes can change the truth,” Dylan says. “For 20 years, I have never wavered in describing what he did to me. I will carry the memories of surviving these experiences for the rest of my life.” Allen’s op-ed, she says “is the latest rehash of the same legalese, distortions, and lies he has leveled at me for the past 20 years,” Farrow went on. “He insists my mother brought criminal charges – in fact, it was a pediatrician who reported the incident to the police based on my firsthand account.” “He suggests that no one complained of his misconduct prior to his assault on me.” “However, court documents show that he was in treatment for what his own therapist described as ‘inappropriate’ behavior with me from as early as 1991.” “He offers a carefully worded claim that he passed a lie detector test.” “In fact, he refused to take the test administered by the state police (he hired someone to administer his own test, which authorities refused to accept as evidence).” “With all the attempts to misrepresent the facts, it is important to be reminded of the truth contained in court documents from the only final ruling in this case.” Dylan Farrow Slams Woody Allen as Sex Abuser In a lengthy list of her own, Farrow offered a step-by-step response to what happened in 1992, when she says a court denied Allen all access to her and: “Debunked the ‘experts’ my father claims exonerated him, calling them ‘colored by their loyalty to Mr. Allen’, and criticizing the author of their report.” “Included testimony from babysitters who witnessed inappropriate sexual behavior by my father toward me.” “Found that there is no credible evidence to support Mr. Allen’s contention that Ms. Farrow coached Dylan or that Ms. Farrow acted upon a desire for revenge.” “Concluded that the evidence proves that Mr. Allen’s behavior toward Dylan was grossly inappropriate and that measures must be taken to protect her.” Finally, prosecutors “found ‘probable cause’ to prosecute, but made the decision not to in an effort to protect ‘the child victim,’ given my fragile state.” Farrow is not letting Allen’s rebuttal affect her, saying, “Woody Allen has an arsenal of lawyers and publicists but the one thing he does not have on his side is the truth.” “From the bottom of my heart, I will be forever grateful for the outpouring of support I have received from survivors and countless others,” she writes. “If speaking out about my experience can help others stand up to their tormentors, it will be worth the pain and suffering my father continues to inflict on me.” “I hope this is the end of his vicious attacks and of the media campaign by his lawyers and publicists, as he’s promised. Catherine Giudici Takes Sean Lowe’s Last Name; Bachelor Star So Freakin’ Happy

Catherine Giudici is officially a Lowe. The Bachelor winner took her husband’s last name following her fairy tale TV nuptials with Sean Lowe last month. The switch is official, as Catherine Giudici proudly declared, “The best day of my life. I’m a Lowe!” to her 500,000 Twitter and Instagram followers. The newlyweds have just returned from a romantic honeymoon in the tropics, and Sean says he is “so freakin’ happy” with how it all turned out. Married life does seem to suit the couple rather well. Since returning from her honeymoon, she’s been posting photos of her and her new husband cuddling in bed, as well as photos from her wedding. The two had their doubters when he picked her on The Bachelor, but he was true to his word that she was the one – and he was willing to wait for her. Seriously. They passed a premarital sex polygraph . In making the name change, Cat follows in the footsteps of Bachelorette Trista Rehn, took her husband Ryan Sutter’s last name after their marriage. Molly Malaney, who married former Bachelor Jason Mesnick in 2011, did the same, although Ashley Hebert did not take J.P. Rosenbaum’s last name. Desiree Hartsock is engaged to Chris Siegfried, and they seem like they’re going to make it, so we’ll see if she goes the Lowe route soon enough. As for Juan Pablo and his chosen bride? Many believe that Justin Bieber is in need of rehab, but a new report alleges that his ex-girlfriend actually beat him to the professional assistance punch. According to numerous sources, Selena Gomez did not cancel the Australian leg of her tour in December because she simply needed a break from performing. The 21-year-old did so because she checked into an Arizona rehab center for an emergency two-week stay (she has since left the facility). Has the good girl gone bad?! Selena Gomez in Rehab: Why? A source claims that Gomez walked into Dawn at The Meadows – a facility that specializes in young adults struggling with trauma or addiction – on January 5. The reason? She had been “partying very hard” in the weeks prior. Teacher Accused Of Having Sex With Student Ol’ freaky azz, hoe azz, pervert azz… According 1011: Twenty-four-year-old Carrie Miller, a Johnson County Central Spanish Teacher accused of sexually assaulting a 15 year student, was in Johnson County Court Wednesday. A judge set her bond at ten percent of $25,000. Miller turned herself into authorities at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday and was arrested for sexual assault and enticement through electronic devices of a 15 year old male. According to court documents filed Wednesday, Miller is accused of having sexual contact with the student approximately 50-60 times in the fall of 2012. The probable cause affidavit says the two routinely exchanged text messages, graphic photographs and inappropriate conversations. Several of the alleged sexual encounters took place in Nemaha County at an abandoned farmstead and were often arranged by cell phones. Because of this, Miller faces more charges in Nemaha County. Miller’s next court date is set for Feb. 26. According to the Johnson County Attorney, the possible assault happened in the fall of 2012, but was only recently brought to light as of Jan. 27, 2014. Miller was married to a Lincoln man at the time of the alleged sexual assault. She was married in September 2011 and the couple filed for divorce in February 2013. SMH. They just can’t let Amanda move on with her life. Amanda Knox Found Guilty Of Murder Again Amanda needs to get her legal weight up, start writing letters to Obama and pray America doesn’t extradite her. According to USA Today: An Italian court Thursday reinstated the murder conviction of Seattle native Amanda Knox for the stabbing death of Knox’s roommate, the latest twist in a dramatic, long-running case that is likely to be appealed again. Knox, who was in Seattle while the court verdict was reached Thursday night in Florence, was sentenced to 28 1/2 years, while ex-boyfriend Raffaele Sollecito, also charged in the case, received 25 years. The pair had been charged with the grisly murder of Meredeth Kercher, a 21-year-old student found stabbed to death in the Perugia villa that she and Knox had rented in 2007. In a statement, Knox said she was “frightened” and “saddened” by the verdict. She blamed overzealous prosecutors and a “prejudiced and narrow-minded investigation” for what she called a perversion of justice and wrongful conviction. Knox and Sollecito will appeal the verdict. Their first two trials produced flip-flop verdicts of guilty,then innocent. The pair were acquitted on appeal in 2011 after spending four years in custody, when a court found that important evidence regarding blood and DNA had been handled improperly by investigators. Sorry, Amanda, but you need more people.
