It was the best day of my life. In May I bought my tickets, I didn’t get the meet & greet, but I got good seats. Two days before the concert I left my town to go to Vegas to the Believe Tour. On Saturday it was just a normal day and I went to some hotels. Then on Sunday that’s when everything started to get a bit crazy. I was with two friends and we were trying to find Justin and to get a picture with him. Finally the buses were outside the MGM and security wouldn’t let us near them. They were telling us that Justin wasn’t there and stuff. Then we saw Selena get out of the bus and she just waved. The security started talking really bad to us, they were mean (I’m not talking about Kenny and Moshe). Finally Justin got out of the bus hugging Selena we screamed, but he was talking on the phone. We left cause we thought that was our one chance to maybe get a picture with him. Then we got into the MGM and we saw that there was people that were in charge for meet & greets. Then we sneaked in with all those people and they didn’t see us! I was like omg I can’t believe I just did this! Then security said, “Everybody on the wall, I need to count all of you.” I thought, ok…good try I almost did it. Then he started counting and said said, “41….THERE IS ONE PERSON THAT DOESN’T BELONG HERE.” But we were three, so we stayed quiet. A men said, “Sorry! It’s me.” We were like thank God! The security told us all, “Okay! Everybody ready to meet Justin?! Make a line.” We were just a few seconds away to meeting Justin. He was really handsome and cute. You can see that he was a little bit tired but really happy. I hugged him, I told him I loved him and that we came from Mexico. He said, “I’m glad you came, I love you, enjoy the show.” That was the best 20 seconds of my life! Girls, believe in your dreams and never say never. I never thought I could meet him, but I did. -Jaquie The rest is here: It was the best day of my life. In May I bought my tickets, I…

I still can’t believe it. October 2nd 2012, the best day of my…

I still can’t believe it. October 2nd 2012, the best day of my life. I met Justin. I’m going to tell you how it happened. I live in Mexico but my dad lives in the US. It was Tuesday, September 24th, when I saw a tweet that said, “If you are a bieberfever member submit your bieber fever collection.” I ran up to my mom and told her about it and she told me to call my dad. I called him and he said that yes, but only if I win. The next day I went to school and I was telling all my classmates about it and they were like, “Get over it, you are not going to win.” Saturday arrived, Sunday arrived and there was still no answer. Monday I went to school and my friends were like “Told you!” When I got home, I checked the tour dates. I was really annoyed, the concert was on Tuesday. I checked my email and there was nothing, I gave up. Monday night I ran downstairs to call my mom. I was crying. I told her that I won and she said, “Send me the email,” she didn’t believe it either. The next day, I went to the airport, got on the plane and left. After 2 long hours, I arrived. I met up with my dad and at  3:40 p.m., we walked to the Staples Center. I started looking for the tickets box, there was a really big line. The M&G started at 4:30. I was not going to the concert cause the tickets were too expensive, so I asked my dad if I can buy tickets but if they were not that expensive. After I got the wristbands and the concert tickets, I got in line. I was standing there when suddenly Moshe comes out, I was freaking out!. I got in another line. Then I saw Scooter, Kenny, Allison, Alfredo, Pattie, Jaden Smith. All the crew was there. I was shaking. I got in another line, then it was my turn. I was walking towards Justin, he was talking with Kenny, I was quiet. Kenny was gone and I brought a book for Justin to sign. After they took the photo, he signed my the book. They didn’t even give me a chance to hug Justin but at the same time I was really happy cause I met him. By the way, he smells like heaven. At around 7pm, we got in the Staples Center to the concert. Cody Simpson opened the show, the Carly and the Justin. I was really enjoying the show. I looked back, all the crew was there. I saw Selena Gomez, I wanted to take a picture with her and she had a look on her face like, “Oh God, not again,” but I did take her picture. I can not describe the feelings I felt. I feel like the luckiest girl on earth. Please, NEVER SAY NEVER and just BELIEVE. -@andrealbf Go here to read the rest: I still can’t believe it. October 2nd 2012, the best day of my…

I wanted to let you know to actually never say never, your day…

I wanted to let you know to actually never say never, your day will come, the one you were waiting for to meet Justin. Ever since I started obsessing over Justin in 2008, I had that dream to meet him. I never thought the day would actually come. My first concert was August 29, 2010, when he preformed at Madison Square Garden, where he shot his Never Say Never. It was actually the best night ever. After that concert finished I wondered if I would ever be lucky enough to see him perform again. Luckily over this summer of 2012, I saw him perform twice in a span of 5 days. On June 15th I went to the Today Show with my friend, and we saw Justin perform and were front row. We could make eye contact and scream his name, when he could actually see and hear us. At the Today Show performance my hand touched his, and I thought it was the most amazing thing ever. I was so happy to be that close, and see his perfection right before my eyes. Five days later on June 20th, me and my sister got into Bieber’s rehearsal for the David Lettermen show that he was performing on that weekend . Me and my sister went into the theater to find ourselves sitting in 8th row, with only staff, and 4 other random people. After waiting for some time, a familiar figure walked on stage . The figure walked into the light on stage and there standing 8 rows away from me was Bieber. Looking hotter then on the Today Show. Me and my sister freaked out, but in silence because staff told us Bieber didn’t like it when people came and watched his rehearsals. We sat there for about another half hour, watching Justin sing and dance to ‘Boyfriend’ about 5 times, until our small performance ended. Still in shock of how amazing Justin sang we walked out the backstage door and talked with his dancing crew. His dancing crew was really nice, and very cool. After talking with them for about 10 minutes, Justin walked out the backstage door. He took pictures with the 4 other people then finally walked over to me and my sister. Amazed of how close I was standing face to face with Justin, he motioned for me to come closer so we can take the picture because he was in a rush. Noticing how this would probably be the first and last time for awhile I asked, “Can I kiss you on the cheek?”, he said “Yeah, sure.” So there I went, my lips touching his soft cheek. Legit the best moment of my life. I wish it lasted more than 2 minutes, but whatever I finally got my moment with Justin. No matter how long it takes Never Say Never. You’re chance will come. I waited a long time for mine and it was well worth it. DON’T STOP BELIEBING See more here: I wanted to let you know to actually never say never, your day…

My name’s Jessica and I’ve been a Belieber for 3 years. I live in California and when the Believe Tour tickets went on sale a few months ago, my friend and I tried really hard to get tickets. We couldn’t get any for the LA shows, but we got some for October 5th in Fresno. It was a 5 hour drive, but I couldn’t believe that I was actually going to see my idol live. We were on the 18th row on the floor, I was extremely happy. The concert was on Friday, and the Monday before the concert the friend that I was going with decided to enter a meet and greet contest on Bieberfever.com. All she had to do was gather up our Bieber merchandise and send it in, and they choose a handful of winners to meet Justin at the concert you’re going to. The day before the concert, my friend, Kristen, got an email about the contest saying we’ve won. She told me after I was done with school and I was SO shocked. I screamed and cried and couldn’t believe I was going to meet the person who makes me smile every single day. I was already happy enough with the tickets we had, and now we’re actually going to meet Justin? Wow. The day of the concert, when we got to the Save Mart Center (where the concert was going to be), we went to the box office to pick up our meet and greet wristbands. When we got in line to meet Justin, it took a really long time. But it was worth it. In line, we saw Kenny, Scooter, Allison and Alfredo. Scooter took a long time to go through most of the line and talk with people and take pictures. A few people in front of us, there was a little boy who was going to the concert with his sister and wanted his parents to go too. He came up to Scooter when he was talking to someone else and the mom tried to pull the little boy back, but Scooter picked him up. It was the cutest thing ever. The boy told him about wanting his parents to go to the concert and Scooter took the tickets and left. He gave those tickets to 2 girls outside and came back with 4 new tickets, in the 4th row. It was the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen anybody do. After that, my friend and I got a picture with Scooter, and a little while after, a picture with Allison. It was already the best day ever and the concert didn’t even start. Later on, we were finally about to meet Justin. They put us in groups of 6 however, and I was the last person in line in our group, so I wasn’t able to stand next to Justin. But it was ok because all that mattered was meeting him. When we got in the room, everyone else got their hugs and my friend and I didn’t. Justin leaned over, looked me in the eyes, smiled, and said “Hi” before we took the picture. After the picture, Kristen and I got to hug him. I regret not being able to say anything to him, but being able to actually meet him in person was the most perfect thing ever. The concert was amazing and I had the greatest time of my life. I still can’t believe I finally met my inspiration and saw him live in concert. I’m actually so surprised I finally get to write one of these….

I’m actually so surprised I finally get to write one of these. My dream FINALLY came true after 3 years. A few months ago I had bought tickets for Justin’s concert on October 6th, 2012 in Oakland, CA. I was sec 116, row 17, seat 10. About a week and a half before the concert I heard of a contest Bieberfever.com was having. The contest was to post a picture of all of your Bieber stuff and 10 people were chosen to meet Justin at your concert. I sent an email with my picture of all of my stuff and had to wait until October 5th, a day before the concert to find out if I won. All day Friday I checked my email in every class but there was nothing. On my way to a football game with my friend later that day I checked my email once more and there it was “Congratulations Natasha! You are now officially invited to a meet and greet with Justin” My heart was beating faster than ever and I was hyperventilating. I was so excited. That night I made posters and shirts for the concert. I arrived at the Oracle Arena at about 8:30 a.m. Saturday to maybe get a glimpse of Justin..way more than just that happened. When I first arrived there were about 10 other people there at maximum. All of the sudden people started coming out of the tour busses that were there and it was Carlena, Jon Boogie, and a few other of Justin’s dancers. I was able to have them all sign one of my posters and take pictures . Then 2 white tour busses arrive and it was CARLY! She waved to all of us! Later, Nick Demoura and DJ Tay James came out and I got them to sign my poster and take pictures as well. After that, everyone started screaming and we went over to the VIP section and there he was. Justin Bieber was riding around on a segway inside the VIP parking lot. I was so happy to get a glimpse of him. It was about 4 o’clock when I had to go up to get my meet and greet pass, when all the sudden I heard more screaming and there was Kenny Hamilton! He was on a segway and went pass the crowd and I was able to high five him. Then Scooter came out and I got him to sign my Believe CD. Next I went inside and was in line for the meet and greet and Scooter comes out of the doors and goes outside. When he comes back in I ask for a hug and HE HUGS ME. Then we are let in to meet Justin, sadly we had to be put in groups of 6 but I’m so grateful for my experience. After our picture was taken, I GOT TO HUG HIM. I GOT TO HUG JUSTIN DREW BIEBER and then I got to see Alfredo again. I was screaming, I was so happy! After that I was waiting for the concert to start and it was amazing. It was my 3rd Justin Bieber concert. I am so happy that this has happened to me. I am the luckiest girl in the universe. -@dibsonharry (I’m the one in the Bieber hat!) My name is Kailee, this is my 2nd Bieber experience. My last one was on Feb 2011 about a basketball game I saw Justin playing in. It’s been about over a year since I last saw him but I’ve never met him…until now. LEMME JUST SAY HE DID THE CUTEST THING EVER. First we have to go back August 17 (which is my birthday) , my mom usually gives me her birthday present to me in the morning but on that day she didnt. I didn’t know what to expect but at the restaurant when it came time for opening presents. She gave me hers last, she started video taping when I opened the box. Inside the box was a piece of paper that read “Happy 15th Birthday Sweetheart! You deserve meeting Justin in person!” At the bottom, it had Justin Bieber meet and greet tickets for the Staples Center Los Angeles on Oct 2. I looked at the camera and started crying my eyes and I said to my mom, “Are you serious?!” I was so excited to get to meet my love but it was so unreal to me, until I got to the concert arena. On Oct 2, 2012 I left 4th period early and went to L.A. At around 4:15 my mom and I got our wristbands and passes. They said no hugs or kisses were allowed unless Justin did it himself and strictly no autographs. I was one of the first people in line to meet justin. Kenny and Moshe opened the black curtain and say “Stand over there in front of the backdrop” JUSTIN WASN’T ANYWHERE. Then I look to my left and I notice somone is hiding behind the black curtain. I look at the shoes and they’re pink sneakers. I thought to myself, would Justin wear pink sneakers? I thought it was Carly Rae Jepsen or somone else. All of sudden out of nowhere Justin pops out and yells “AGGH” and see him and out of excitement and half scared I scream so loud! i just go and hug him and justin hugs back. We take the picture, I was hugging him very tightly so he gripped his arm on my shoulder as tight as I was hugging him lol. Then I didn’t care if there was no autographs allowed, I wanted it SO bad so I asked anyways. “Justin, can you please sign the back of my Girlfriend jacket?!” Kenny and Moshe were like, “No you can’t do that” but Justin stopped them and said, “No it’s okay.” He signed the back of my jacket and after I hug him again and say thank you! When I pull away, Justin had his arm around my waist and he’s inches from my face and he winks at me. I LEGIT DIED. He was so perfect and he treated me like a long lost best friend, it was amazing. I like to say we played “hide and seek” together haha but that is the best day of my life. Justin is the most cutest thing in the world. He completly made my life. I’m SO blessed and happy that I can write you my first…

I’m SO blessed and happy that I can write you my first Bieber Experience! Well, here it is!  My name is Kristen, I’m 16 years old, and from San Diego, California. I bought my Believe Tour tickets in May for the Fresno show, and was blessed to have gotten VIP tickets, but not meet and greet. As thrilled as I was to have those amazing seats, I was still disappointed in not getting meet and greet because it’s been my dream to meet him for the past 2 years. I waited all summer and a few more months until October 5th, the day of the show was almost here! I have a BieberFever account and entered the M&G contest by sending them a picture of all of my Justin merch. I prayed every night and wished on every 11:11 that I would win that contest, as it was my last chance to meet Justin since he won’t be back in California for a long time.  It was Thursday, October 4th, and I was at a tennis lesson, when I checked my phone and saw I had an email. I opened it and saw it was from Bieber Fever saying I had won the contest! I’ve never cried so hard in my life. It was the happiest moment of my entire life because I knew I was finally going to meet my idol.  The next day, my best friend, my mom, and I drove 5 and half hours to Fresno for the concert! The whole time we spent in the car I couldn’t stop thinking about what I was going to say to Justin and how great it would feel to finally hug him. The hours past, and we arrived at the arena for the M&G. There were SO many people and line took over an hour but while I was in line, I met Scooter, Allison, and Fredo , and I hadn’t even met Justin yet! I was freaking out so much and couldn’t believe it was all happening. F inally, our time came to meet Justin and we were sent in groups of 6 , and I was the back of the group. We entered the room and my heart stopped as I saw Justin. He hugged the other girls, but didn’t have a chance to hug me because they told us to hurry up and take the photo. He noticed that I didn’t get a hug though and leaned over to me and said, “Hi! How are you?” I couldn’t believe he talked to me. I responded with a simply “Good, thanks!” After the photo was taken, I went up to him and asked for hug and he said “Of course!” In that moment, my world stopped. It was just me and Justin hugging. It was the best moment of my life.  After that I couldn’t stop crying but we still the had concert to look forward to! The Believe Tour show was the BEST show I’ve ever seen in my life. Everyone needs to see it. Simply spectacular.  It was the best day/night of my life and I can’t believe it happened. Don’t give up your dreams, because they will come true!!! REVIEW: More Fine Filmmaking (But Not Acting) From Ben Affleck In Argo

Argo is the story of a film that never existed, a  Star Wars rip-off set in a sci-fi world with a conveniently Middle Eastern feel. If the movie ever actually made it into production, it looks like the kind of thing you’d stumble upon while doing some insomnia-fueled TV-channel flipping in the small hours of the morning: a forgotten space opera featuring sparkly costumes and melodramatic dialogue. But when CIA agent Tony Mendez (Ben Affleck) options this script, what he has in mind is not a genre movie but a rescue operation.  Argo,  Affleck’s third outing as a director, heads far away from the Boston crime stories of Gone Baby Gone and  The Town — to Tehran in 1980, where six American diplomats who escaped from the taking of the American embassy have been hiding out in the home of the Canadian ambassador in an increasingly perilous situation. There are no good ways of getting them out of a country roiling with rage against the U.S. decision to grant asylum to Mohammad Reza Pahlavi, the recently overthrown Shah of Iran. The State Department suggests giving the six bicycles and pointing them toward the Turkish border, or passing them off as NGO workers in the country to inspect crops that aren’t growing because it’s winter. The plan Tony comes up with, to pass them off as a Canadian film crew, is as his boss Jack O’Donnell (Bryan Cranston) puts it “the best bad idea” the agency has. Argo plays out like an unlikely heist movie in which all the suspense comes from unexpected corners. It’s a con in which the ultimate tense sequence involves getting through airport security, in which we root for the American “house guests” to escape while never being allowed to forget that the mess they’re in is a consequence of U.S. actions. It’s more fine filmmaking from Affleck, though it feels less personal and soulful than his previous hometown genre exercises.  The movie’s poignance comes primarily from the opportunity it provides for show business to save the day, and John Goodman and Alan Arkin as Hollywood vets John Chambers and Lester Siegel provide a wry, seen-it-all counterpoint to the aura of melancholy that colors the main storyline. The primary weakness of Affleck’s film is the actor himself, who can’t seem to find much in “exfiltration” specialist Tony aside from a dedication to his work and sorrow over the potential breakup of his family.  He is separated from his wife, who has taken their son with her to Virginia. The ’70s shaggy Tony is the protagonist of the story (and the real life Mendez provided some of the film’s source material in his book  The Master of Disguise ), but the film places him as the too-still center, as if it would be in bad taste to give too much color to his character. “The whole country is watching you, they just don’t know it,” he’s told early in the runtime, and that sense of his being a secret hero seems to extend into  Argo as well. It’s left to the rest of the cast to fill in the liveliness, and Cranston and Chris Messina manage that well in the CIA, while Kerry Bishé, Rory Cochrane, Christopher Denham, Tate Donovan, Clea DuVall and Scoot McNairy do an able job fleshing out the six American stowaways. As Joe Stafford, the ambitious embassy worker who challenges Tony’s plan as unsafe, McNairy is a stand-out, portraying a character in denial about how few options their group now has and filled with guilt about placing his wife in danger. But it’s Goodman and Arkin who are uncomplicated great fun, and the scenes in which Tony travels around Burbank arranging a fake production with their characters are the movie’s most enjoyable outside of the taut finale. Beneath a crumbled Hollywood sign, Tony dips his toe into the film world, quaffing wine at a press event for his nonexistence movie as costumed actors do a table read. That scene, which cuts between the lavish event and the situation in Iran, would suggest a critique of the entertainment industry and the escapism it represents. But a later sequence finds one of the characters giving the pitch of his life to members of the Revolutionary Guard, and inadvertently affirming the power that the movies hold over everyone. On a studio lot thousands of miles away from Iran, Chambers and Siegel may  be joking about Groucho Marx while the world is in turmoil, but the power of show business holds sway even amidst Iran’s militants, whose own actions demonstrate an awareness of the importance of theatricality.  Argo  is a subdued thriller about a small triumph in a troubled moment in time, but it’s not without its sting. The side storyline of a local girl who was employed at the embassy provides a biting reminder of what it really means to be an unacknowledged hero. Not every gets to celebrate and drink champagne at the end. Follow Alison Willmore on Twitter. Follow Movieline on Twitter .
