Sigh. Well, folks, the “maybe Ryan Edwards isn't such a terrible guy, after all” narrative was fun while it lasted. As you probably know, Ryan got out of rehab last month after completing a 90-day course of treatment. Those closest to the troubled Teen Mom OG star claimed he'd changed his ways, but it looks as though he's already fallen back into his old habits. Earlier this week, we learned that Ryan is once again using Tinder to try and cheat on Mackenzie Standifer . And according to new screenshots obtained by Radar Online, he's off the wagon and looking to get high with some of his hookup partners. Here's what we know about this sad situation so far: 1. A Familiar Pattern This isn’t the first time that Ryan checked into rehab, emerged triumphant, and immediately went back to his old ways. 2. Ryan’s Hope Family and friends had hoped this time would be different. It was the longest Edwards had ever remained in treatment, and his wife recently gave birth to a baby boy. 3. Squandered Potential They hoped sobriety would make Ryan a better husband and father and keep him out of trouble with the law. 4. No Magic Bullet Sadly, rehab doesn’t always result in sobriety, and sobriety doesn’t always make former addicts more trustworthy or responsible. 5. A Troubled Man Obviously, Ryan’s heroin addiction and the legal problems that resulted from it are the biggest obstacles in his life — but he has a lot of other demons to conquer, as well. 6. Ever since his intense confrontation with estranged wife Jenni Farley last Thursday night, Roger Mathews has been telling folks that the truth will come out. That does appear to now be the case, but a question still remains for Mathews: Does this truth make him look like a good guy or a bad guy? Late last week, Mathews and Farley got into a heated debate about the Jersey Shore star once again having to be away from her family for work. This had reportedly been a significant reason why the couple fell into such a downward spiral over the past several months that JWOWW filed for divorce in September. After going back and forth with Farley in their New Jersey home, Mathews claimed he grew so annoyed by her threat to dial the police that he went ahead and called her bluff… … by actually calling them himself! Thanks to Radar Online, we now have evidence that Roger was telling the truth. He really was the person who called the authorities first — but he bashed the heck out of his wife in front of her children while doing so. In the 911 call obtained by Radar from the Tom’s River Police Department, Mathews explains the ongoing situation to a dispatcher, who says to someone at one point: “Him and his wife are getting divorced and they’re in the middle of getting divorced. She’s making up all kinds of stuff. She’s threatening to throw him out and call the cops.” Again, this is how Mathews has framed things from the beginning. Shortly after he was taken away by the police, Mathews filmed a series of Instagram videos in which he slammed Farley as being “hate-filled” and said she became “completely, uncontrollably emotional.” The thing is, this 911 call reveals that Mathews told his little kids the same thing. At another point in the conversation between Mathews and the operator, we can hear four-year old Meilani and two-year old Greyson screaming. To calm them down, or just to emphasize what he thinks is the cause of their distress, Mathews is heard telling the tykes: Mommy can’t control her emotions . Ouch, right? You’d hope, no matter how angry Mathews was at that moment, that he’d be mature and aware enough not to insult the mother of his young children to their faces. Alas. When the operator asked if there are firearms in the house, he replies: “There is but no one is doing anything. Registered firearms to me. It’s not on that level.” He says the fight is merely “verbal,” not physical. Later, Mathews tells the person on the other end of the 911 call: “She’s going to wait until I leave and call the police and make up some crazy story. I’m ensuring she cannot do that.” Again, from what we understand, this is exactly what transpired. Jenni Farley Home Surveillance Footage Mathews left the house after he placed his 911 call… JWOWW called the cops herself… she got a restraining order against her husband… and he was hauled off in a police cruiser upon his return home. It seems very possible that this timeline is accurate and that Mathews had been telling the broad truth all along about everything that transpired. Still, though. We don’t know what was said between the parties in their fight. And we do know that Mathews spent time with his son this weekend. Farley does not seem to be barring him from contact of any kind, despite Roger alleging otherwise. Elsewhere, he has changed his Instagram profile to read: “A humble father in the fight of his life for his children and greater good.” Something tell us we haven’t heard the last from Mathews on this subject. We prefer Ian Somerhalder’s sweet tributes to his wife to watching him flip out and make bizarre claims. This is disappointing. He took to Instagram to post a lengthy rant after he claims that he was grocery-shamed for buying vegetables. Ian doesn’t hold back, and lays into everything from prepackaged foods to medicine itself, calling it all poison . Ian Somerhalder shared a photo of him with a tremendous amount of vegetables alongside a lengthy rant. “I hope I don’t come off as an ass…” Ian begins his post. As you are about to see, he unfortunately does. “A woman just stopped me in the grocery store,” Ian claims. “And told me that she had never seen a basket like mine.” Okay, first of all, it really sounds like she was hitting on him, but he interpreted her meaning as being about his literal grocery basket. “I told her that I have never NOT seen this type of basket in my grocery-shopping behavior,” Ian writes. “A few others chimed in saying that it was a very strange sight!” he says. “WTF? A strange sight?” It’s not weird that it’s a strange sight. It’s weird that people had the audacity to comment. “I’m in a grocery store,” Ian says. “It’s food. It got me thinking and really fired up…” “I hear in the news constantly … healthcare costs, drug companies, and doctors and what rising costs do to our society, our lives and our economy,” he says. “I know our system isn’t great,” he acknowledges. This is where his okay post gets really, really bad. “Yet, the public poisons itself daily with bad food choices,” he says. Yeah — he’s one of those people who seems to think that lifestyle choices like food and exercise are behind most illnesses. They are not. “Food is medicine and medicine is food,” he asserts. “It’s a fact.” No? They’re both chemicals that can impact your body, but they are not interchangeable. “If we want to see our healthcare system changed, be a healthier society,” he instructs. “And it will.” Nope. Cancer will still exist no matter how many plants people force themselves to eat. “How does that sound? Logical right?” he asks. “I don’t mean to sound like a dick- or preachy but this is nuts:” “How is it, that grown professional people in a major American city have never seen a grocery basket full of normal & healthy foods?” he asks. Ian says that his food choices are those “that just all happen to be green or not processed.” The answer is that most people buy a little from each department instead of spending their entire shopping trip among the greens. “We’re so far down the rabbit hole of packaged and ‘convenient’ foods that our society is paying the price,” he claims. “And so is our future.” “No one in our government is helping us be healthier through education,” he writes. This is when Ian takes things a step further … and thinks that the existence of convenient food isn’t out of market demand, but because of a conspiracy. “Why would they?” Ian asks. “Sick people are GREAT for business…” “It’s pretty simple:If you want to look well, feel well and BE well- just eat well,” he writes. Can’t wait to give that helpful advice to folks with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome! “Obviously excersise as well,” Ian adds. “As much as you can.Everything else will start to fall into place.” And before people point out that he’s rich and can afford expensive foods and the time to prepare them, he makes a note. “My mom raised me on no money & mostly as a single parent,” Ian writes. “Yet, she still ate well & exercised and it shaped my life.” “We make excuses why we can’t find the time to take care of ourselves and we end up past the point of no return… Why is that?” he asks. He continues: “How is it that we can’t see that:Happy and healthy people make a happy and healthy world.” “It’s hard to see that through a fog of prescription drugs, energy drinks, & strong sleep aids,” he claims. Energy drinks aren’t great for you, but prescription drugs save lives every day. And not everybody can fall asleep easily, dude. “It’s hard I know,” he says condescendingly. “But its time to change.” “You wouldn’t put the wrong gas in your car,” he asserts. “So why would you put wrong food in your body?” Of all of the possible responses to that line, pehraps the best would be questioning why he gets to decide what’s wrong for someone else’s body. “We MUST take responsibility for what we put into our bodies starting now,” Ian claims. “We can do it.Ok. I’ll stop. Thanks” First of all, some doubt the credulity of his alleged encounter at the grocery store. Personally, I believe that someone commented. His basket looks like he visited a plant nursery, not a grocery store, and some people are rude enough to comment. Obviously, no one should be shamed, whether they’re buying a dozen frozen pizzas or what looks to be a miniature forest. Unfortunately, instead of making his post about his choices being his business, he made it about them being the right choices. And Ian thinks that everyone else should do exactly what he does. He compares prescription medications to poison and suggests that everyone will be healthy if they just eat leafy greens. In addition to pseudo-science, he ultimately ends up being the grocery-shamer, implying that people who eat convenient foods are destroying themselves and the world. His food is his business. Everyone else’s food is theirs. The same goes with their health and what medicines they take. Being ridiculously handsome isn’t an excuse to be a huge jerk to people.
If you were on Twitter last week, you had a front-row seat for the appalling spectacle of a high-profile, unhinged lunatic railing against his enemies in the kind of tantrum one rarely finds outside of a pre-K classroom. But enough about President Donald John Trump; we’re here to talk about Kanye West’s feud with Drake . Come to think of it, “feud” might not be the right word for this situation, as the altercation was almost entirely one-sided. Kanye attacked his former friend for everything from making jokes about the sneakers he designs to allegedly contacting Kris Jenner on the sly. At one point, Kanye dragged Kylie Jenner’s boyfriend, Travis Scott, into the situation, alleging that Scott and Drake had filled their lyrics with subtle “sneak disses” directed at Kanye. “F–k that sickomode song Family first and always,” Kanye tweeted at one point, referring to a collaboration between Travis and Drake. Kim Kardashian defended her husband at one point, calling him “the most genius person that I know.” But for the most part, she kept her distance from the feud. Now, insiders are claiming that Kim was appalled by her husband’s outburst, and according to one source, she currently feels that “divorce is the only option.” Now, you might think that Kim would be used to Kanye’s outbursts by this point, as Yeezy takes to social media to boast that he’s off his meds about once a month. But this time is different for at least two reasons: For one thing, by dragging Travis into the fray, Kanye involved Kim’s family, and Kim is nothing if not protective of her sisters. (It’s one of those situations where she can talk as much smack as she wants, but outsiders better keep their mouths shut.) On top of that, Kim reportedly feels that by stirring up drama on social media, Kanye is threatening his family’s safety. “The more crap Kanye talks, the more and more Kim feels unsafe,” the source tells Radar Online. It’s not hard to see why the mother of three might feel this way. After all, it’s only been two years since Kim was robbed at gunpoint in Paris. And just last month, gunmen opened fire at the filming of a Tekashi69 music video , at a time when Kanye was rumored to be on set. Kanye wasn’t actually there at the time, and no one was injured, but we’re sure that this is all much more drama and violence than Kim would prefer in her life. “Kanye continues to throw Kim and her family into the fire and she is constantly getting threats and harassment,” the source continues. “It is just past the point of getting old and Kim is so fed up with all of this.” Obviously, Kim and Kanye divorce rumors are nothing new, but if anything would prompt Kim to pull the plug on her marriage, it would be the feeling that her husband is creating an unsafe environment for their children. But one engineer and YouTube star figured out a way to get back at these thieves. Mike Rober spent 6 months rigging a package to explode with glitter and farts, catching these suspected thieves on camera in a video that has gone viral. Oh, were they in for a surprise. And the winner is….Cordelia Cransha. Your reigning Miss DC USA 2019 is Virginia native Cordelia Cranshaw. She joined the Quick Silva Show to talk about her life changing opportunity to be crowned Miss District Of Columbia. As beautiful as Cordelia is her life hasn’t always been picture perfect. Her platform reflected her real life situation, where she was in foster care until the age of 21. Cranshaw’s mother was incarcerated and her father was an alcoholic. As D.C. resident and the Founder of her non-profit “ARK” Cordelia takes pride in giving back to DMV community. William “Willbilly” Hathaway, a cast member on the National Geographic Channel reality show Wicked Tuna, died on Saturday due to injuries he sustained in a car accident. He was 36 years old. According to local news outlets, Hathaway was involved in a crash in Salisbury, Maryland after he swerved off a remote countryside road into a ditch. WBOC16 says that Maryland State Police received a 911 call from a concerned citizen who drove past a Toyota truck on Old Ocean City Road; the station then received numerous similar calls shortly afterwards. The incident took place around 4 p.m. local time. Hathaway, meanwhile, supposedly called his wife after the accident occurred and said he was alright. However, paramedics quickly arrived at the scene and found the reality star “slumped over the center console,” not breathing. The aforementioned news outlet claims he was taken to Peninsula Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. Hathaway was allegedly forced off the road and into the ditch when another vehicle cut him off. His airbags reportedly never deployed. In response to this tragedy, friends and loved ones have started a Facebook fundraiser to raise money for Hathaway’s wife and their newborn daughter, Molly. A spokesperson for the Ocean CityFishing Community wrote on the page: “He was an exceptional human being whose passion was the sea. He always brightened the day of anyone he met. His wife and new born baby girl he was most proud of.” “Due to his untimely death we are asking for donations to help them stay on their feet while trying to survive this tragedy.” As of this writing, more than $56,500 of the $250,000 fundraising goal had been reached. Hathaway was part of the fishing crew on the Ocean City-based Foolish Pleasures vessel, which was featured on Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks. The series itself debuted in April of 2012. The road to sobriety isn't easy for any addict, but many Teen Mom OG fans predicted it would be especially difficult for Ryan Edwards. Ryan completed rehab last month, and he immediately returned to a life of tremendous responsibilities and obligations. His wife, Mackenzie Standifer, gave birth to son Jagger while Ryan was in treatment, which means Edwards came home to a new son, a notoriously troubled marriage, and the eyes of millions of Teen Mom fans watching his every move. It's a great deal of pressure, and sadly, it seems the couple is already showing signs of strain. But they're still doing their best to maintain a pleasant facade on social media. Take a look: 1. A single mother recently got the biggest Christmas shock of her life. Last week, Jasmin Ford , a 30-year-old registered nurse, found out that Fifth Third bank paid off her $150,000 student loan debt. She found herself having to pay for school on her own, using student loans to help pay for tuition, rent, food and her other bills. Like many of us, Ford admitted that she never thought she would be able to pay off these loans down in her lifetime. “I could not foresee when I’d be able to pay it off,” Ford said of her debt. “I just knew this was going to be a part of my life as long as I was alive unless there was some significant change, which — wow.” According to WLS News , Fifth Third bank became aware of Ford, who is a customer, while they were working on a promotional video about student loan debt. Bank officials said they later “chose to pay off her student loans because she exemplified the impact that loans can have on a family trying to achieve.” Because of this huge act of kindness, Ford believes this will change her son’s life too, allowing her to be a more present mother. See, she worked two jobs almost every day of the week, something she can now give up. “I just imagine being able to spend more time physically with my family, not having to hustle, having mental freedom and with that, some spiritual freedom,” she told GMA. “I can open myself to more experiences, opportunities and just be able to sit and be with my thoughts and be able to pursue what it is I came to do.” “His life will be totally different,” she added. “I’m so happy and so proud that I’m able to offer that to him more than anything else because he deserves it.” Just amazing.
