The 75-year-old “If Only You Knew” singer shared in an exclusive chat with the New York Post at the Zang Toi show during New York Fashion Week that she is still interested in making a trip down the aisle. Swirly Matrimony: ‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Couple Chris Bukowski And Katie Morton Get Engaged–But Are They Still Together?

Throughout the season, even though it seemed like these two were both really into one another, there was definitely some uncertainty on Chris’ part about whether or not he was serious about continuing their relationship after the show ends. And who can blame him? This season was Chris’ sixth (yes, sixth) time trying to find love in the Bachelor franchise, and he previously “retired” before coming back to this season of Bachelor in Paradise . But in the end, Bukowski realized that he was with the girl he wanted to spend the rest of his life with. Once the reunion came around, though, Katie’s engagement ring was nowhere in sight and things seemed to be rocky between the couple. Morton said she watched the show back and thought she would see how much Chris loved her throughout the episodes, but didn’t. She admitted that she feels insecure in her relationship, and after talking it out, Chris handed her her ring, she put it back on, and they kissed. This ending was pretty up in the air for fans who followed the couple all season long, but luckily for us, Chris and Katie posted to Instagram to let us know things are all good between them. Though neither of them have said whether or not marriage is anytime in the near future, their life as a couple seems to be better than ever after going through a rough patch. Colin Kaepernick’s “Dream Crazy” Nike Campaign Wins An Emmy

Colin Kaepernick is changing the game once again. His ambassador role at Nike has proven to be a wise move for the sporting goods giant. As spotted on Hypebeast the former NFL quarterback’s Nike campaign won an Emmy award for “Outstanding Commercial” at the 2019 Creative Arts Emmy Awards. Titled “Dream Crazy” the advertisement featured the Milwaukee native voicing the aspirations of different athletes throughout various sports including a young legless Olympic wrestler and female wheelchair basketball player. Kaep even pointed to his own personal story with “Believe in something, even if it means sacrificing everything” included in the voiceover. Even though many Americans took offense to his inclusion, the powerful two-minute clip resonated with millions across the world due to its potent message about chasing your goals regardless if you are outnumbered by your naysayers. “Dream Crazy” was apart of Nike’s 30th anniversary of their iconic “Just Do It” signature motto. Wendy Williams: If Felicity Huffman Were Black, She’d Be Serving 14 YEARS!

The world remains outraged that Felicity Huffman is serving 14 days in prison for her role in the college bribery scandal. Many feel that she got off easy because she's rich and famous. Wendy Williams would like to add to that: if Felicity had been black, her sentence would have been much harsher. When Wendy Williams said “Season 11, I'm going harder than ever,” she clearly meant it. “So Felicity Huffman's only going to prison for 14 days?!” “I mean, if she were black, it'd be 14 years number one.” She's not wrong, really. Studies show that even doctors view black women less favorably than white women. You know that courts do, too. Wendy then briefly confuses Felicity with Lori. “She paid $15,000 and she's worth million,” Wendy observes, saying that Felicity paid to “have her daughter's SAT scores changed.” “And that's where her trouble is,” she states. “So,” Wendy continues. “She admitted what she did. She's going to jail for 14 days.” “She pays $30,000 in restitution — maybe a few more dollars,” she assesses. When you're talking about a pair of movie stars, that's not a huge fine. “Do I think she’ll ever work again? Yeah,” Wendy admits. “Because first of all, she copped to it,” she points out. “Second of all, she’s one half of a power couple in Hollywood,” Wendy reasons. She adds: “And she’s a nice woman. She just did something that I think a lot of mothers would do if you had the means.” Wendy then asks her audience if they would do the same for their children, given the chance. A shocking number of them clap. (Folks, you can take the SAT repeatedly and it's genuinely not a difficult test; let your kid get the scores that they get) Wendy then very correctly points to a case that constrasts with Felicity's. (When the scandal first broke, outrage over this particular case showed the disparity between rich white women and their poor brown counterparts) A woman in Connecticut — who is black — was sentenced to five years in prison. She didn't bribe anyone. She didn't pay someone to impersonate her child to give them a better test score. All that she did was use a relative's address as her child's home address to give her child a better zip code and thus a better education. Remember, this was a woman overcoming racism — because yes, schools being funded by local property taxes is not race-blind. It's a decades-old system designed to ensure that rich, white homeowners aren't paying for the educations of poor people. And because of other racial injustices in America, a disproportionate number of low-income families are black or brown. Most people wouldn't consider what this mom did a crime. You'd equate it with sending your kids to a rich neighborhood to go trick-or-treating. But clearly, prosecutors felt that this woman defrauded more affluent parents by giving her child a better chance at life. Meanwhile, Felicity gets 14 days. Nice though she may be, that's not right. Wendy notes that she feels that Felicity should have been fined millions — with that money going to those who cannot afford a better education. That is a great idea. A genuinely great idea. At the end, Wendy states that she doesn't even feel like discussing Lori, whom everyone feels did much worse than what Felicity did.

Alex Trebek Shares Sad Cancer Update, Needs Chemotherapy Again

Alex Trebek has some very unfortunate news to share. About four months after the Jeopardy! host told fans he was in ” near remission ” after having been diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer… … the beloved television personality is here to say otherwise. In an interview that aired on Tuesday’s Good Morning America, the long-running Jeopardy! host revealed that he’s once again undergoing chemotherapy. “The doctors have decided that I have to undergo chemo again and that’s what I’m doing,” Trebek explained, adding: “I was doing so well and my numbers went down to the equivalent of a normal human being who does not have pancreatic cancer, so we were all very optimistic. “They said, ‘Good, we’re gonna stop chemo, we’ll start you on immunotherapy’ and I lost about 12 pounds in a week and my numbers went sky-high, much higher than they were when I was first diagnosed. It doesn’t sound like the 79-year old is feeling his best, either. Alex Trebek Offers Cancer Update “My hair started to grow back, but now I have to undergo chemo again, so what little hair I have grown [this summer] is going to disappear again,” he told GMA’s T.J. Holmes. “In terms of getting my strength back, that hasn’t happened, unfortunately.” Trebek, who revealed his cancer diagnosis on March 6 , has also lost a lot of weight of late. About 12 pounds in a week, to be exact. The host proceeded to tell GMA that “cancer is mysterious in more ways than one,” and that battling it has taken a tough toll on his body. “It has different effects on you,” he said. “For some reason, and I don’t understand why, occasionally it will cause excruciating pain in my lower back. Other times it’s fatigue, other times it’s nausea. It varies.” The terrible truth is that Trebek has one of the most aggressive types of cancer out there. The five-year survival rate is extremely small and the median survival rate for people diagnosed with stage four pancreatic cancer is three to six months. It is incurable. Trebek says he sometimes feels a “surge of sadness and depression,” but he also plans to continue hosting the game show for as long as he can “walk out and greet the contestants.” And as for death, Trebek said that he isn’t concerned. “I realize that there is an end in sight for me just as there is for everyone else,” he says. “One line that I have used for our staff in recent weeks and months is that when I do pass on, one thing they will not say at my funeral is, ‘Oh, he was taken too soon.'” But he disagrees with this predicted assessment. “I’m 79 years old. I’ve had one hell of a good life and I’ve enjoyed it. “And the thought of passing on doesn’t frighten me. It doesn’t. Other things do. The effect it’ll have on my loved ones, yes that bothers me, it makes me sad. “But the thought of myself moving on? Hey folks, it comes with the territory.” This is what Trebek said back in March: Just like 50,000 other people in the United States each year, this week I was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer. Now, normally the prognosis for this is not very encouraging, but I’m gonna fight this and I’m gonna keep working and with the love and support of my family and friends and with the help of your prayers also, I plan to beat the low survival rate statistics for this disease. There are many weird corners of the internet in which regular folks rally around public figures with the same fierce loyalty that sports fans demonstrate for their favorite football teams. There’s nothing wrong with this fervent devotion,  per se , but when it leads to viewing famous people as inhuman competing factions in some never-ending popularity contest, well … that’s when problems arise. Take, for example, the oft-dissected feud between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle . Now, Kate and Meghan are both successful women who appear to have as many differences as they do similarities, so it was always just a matter of time before the tabloid media pitted them against one another. But in this case, the gossip hounds didn’t have to work very hard, as it seems there really is some bad blood between the duchesses. At one point, the situation got so bad that Kensington Palace issued a statement about the feud . Shortly thereafter, however, things seemed to gradually cool down. As is usually the case with this sort of thing, there are conflicting accounts about how this came to be. Some say Prince Charles brokered a peace deal. Others claim their relationship benefited from Meghan’s decision to cut ties with the Sussexes by moving out of Kensington Palace and dividing their formerly co-run charitable organization into two separate entities. Whatever the case, the duchesses have learned to peacefully co-exist — which is great news for everyone except those weirdos who live for royal discord. And that’s how we found ourselves in our current situation, with Kate diehards launching weird, racist smear campaigns against Meghan. It all started with the bizarre claim that Meghan somehow “owes” Kate for her success. The idea that Kate invented the idea of royalty and Meghan should be groveling at her feet gave raise for a number of despicably bigoted memes: This one is actually an ironic refutation of those memes, but the fact that something like this was necessary should give you an idea of how rampant the “savior Kate” mentality has become. And it seems the current anti-Meg campaign is a two-pronged offensive, as Kate loyalists have also been spreading a rumor that Meghan plans to relaunch her defunct lifestyle site The Tig. Obviously, such a commercial endeavor of that nature would be considered beneath Meghan’s current station, and there’s no way it’s actually happening. The professional haters responsible for the rumor seem to have been inspired by the fact that Meghan recently renewed her trademark on the Tig name. But that doesn’t mean she’ll be publishing new content. “The lasting trademark is to prevent false branding, to avoid others purporting to be the Duchess or affiliated with her,” says a legal expert familiar with the situation. So there you have it Meghan won’t be breaching royal protocol by returning to her career as a content creator. That should be enough to placate the Kate obsessives, right? Jk. Shannon Beador: Did Kelly Dodd Giver Her a CONCUSSION?!

A lot of the drama on The Real Housewives of Orange County lately has been about Vicki's habit of spreading lies and how it's landed her in hot water. But in this sneak peek clip, we see that it's Kelly Dodd's turn to get herself into trouble. Take a look as the aftermath of her “joke” leaves Shannon complaining of a head injury and blurry vision. A classic part of each Real Housewives season is that travel. It wasn't so long ago that seeing the ladies from Orange County travel meant seeing Shannon have a full-on meltdown. (Which, of course, was followed by Tamra screaming at her) Hey, it was hot — the AC was out in their villa. Anyone would lose their minds. (I'd be finding a kitchen and sleeping in a walk-in freezer) This time, as you can see on the video, Shannon's at the center of drama again, but she's not blaming the heat. The set-up is: Villa 7 houses Kelly Dodd, Emily Simpson, and Braunwyn Windham-Burke. Meanwhile, Villa 14 accommodates Shannon Storms Beador, Tamra Judge, Vicki Gunvalson, and Gina Kirschenheiter. The ladies were supposed to do a meditation retreat. Unfortunately, Kelly's idea of a “joke” meant whacking Shannon on the head. Call us old-fashioned, but meditation is usually supposed to be a non-violent activity. “How's your head?” Tamra asks her friend as the ladies make their way through the dark back to their lodging. (That's a great set-up for a joke, because you're supposed to answer well I haven't had any complaints , but Shannon's in no mood) “It hurts,” Shannon laments grimly. She then responds to the “how's your chakra” question with an honest “I don't know.” The crown chakra is located at the top of the head, according to religious and spiritual practices that acknowledge the chakras. “I can take a joke any day,” Shannon assures viewers while speaking to the confessional camera. “But there's a certain line that you cross with jokes,” she points out. “And,” Shannon continues. “Getting physical with anyone isn't funny.” At this point, the ladies have entered the villa where they are being treated to a tasteful candlelit ambiance. But that doesn't mean that they drop the subject of Shannon's head. “It hurts so bad right here right now,” Shannon complains, holding the back right part of her upper cranium. “I don't want to scare you,” Tamra says before scaring the daylights out of her. “But,” the fitness fanatic continues. “My ex-husband got hit in the top of the head.” (She is not referring to Simon Barney, but to her terrible son Ryan's father) “And then,” Tamra narrates. “His spinal fluid started leaking.” “Are you being serious right now?” Shannon asks, incredulous. It's not clear whether she's shocked that such a thing could go wrong, or that Tamra would bring it up when she's already worried. Tamra explains to the camera that her ex's mild bump (he hit his head on the roof of the company truck while going over a bump) was serious. Having dismissed that and the ensuing headache until her ex went to the hospital, she's genuinely worried about her friend. Then, Shannon reports: “My left eye is blurry.” Shannon does admit that she only discovered this after removing her contact lenses. When she shines a light in her eyes, Tamra complains “well, they're dilating because you're shining a light in them.” That's actually a good thing, folks. And while we're no doctors, our guess is that Shannon doesn't have a concussion — just a bump. But it doesn't hurt to be careful, folks. We'll see what Shannon does next on the actual episode.

Derick Dillard: Working as a Grubhub Driver to Make Ends Meet?

Oh, how the mighty have fallen. It wasn’t all that long ago that Derick Dillard and Jill Duggar were earning big bucks as contributing members of the Duggar media empire. But Derick’s big mouth and bigoted world views have left the Dillards in dire straits — and it seems the man of the house has resorted to desperate measures to keep the food on the table. Specifically, he’s now bringing food directly to other people’s tables thanks to his new gig as a delivery driver for Grubhub. Derick posted the photo below on Instagram, seemingly in an effort to address a widespread rumor that he’s fallen on hard times. “This is how I get date ideas! #food #letsdothis #studybreak How do you make extra cash?” he captioned the pic. “Would love to hear in the comments below #daveramsey #millenialsmakinmoney #daveramseybabysteps”  To be clear, there’s absolutely no shame in delivering food, driving for Uber, or lining your pockets by any means necessary. But Derick’s situation is funny for a number of reasons that are very specific to his situation: 1. He and his wife previously enjoyed cushy, six-figure gigs starring on Counting On, but Derick got fired for bullying transgender teen Jazz Jennings. Shortly thereafter, Jill quit the show in a gesture of solidarity. Bad move.  2. The Duggars believe material wealth is a reflection of God’s favor. Jim Bob teaches his kids that wealth is bestowed upon those who have pleased the Lord — by that logic, Der must have really pissed off the big man upstairs. Maybe it was all the bullying of at-risk teens. Who knows? Mysterious ways, and so forth … 3. Since Derick is in law school full-time — which is a rather time-consuming endeavor — the Dillards would benefit greatly from a second income. Unfortunately, the Duggar rules for life prohibit married women from working. And even if they didn’t, Derick would likely find watching the kids by himself for a few hours to be an excruciatingly emasculating experience. This is the level of insecurity that drives grown men to bully teens on the internet. Anyway, we’re not the only ones having a little fun roasting Der’s new gig, as the dude is currently being dragged in his own comments section. “Or maybe your wife could work,” one fan helpfully pointed out. Many others noted that Derick doesn’t appear to be putting his accounting degree to good use: “Hard to comprehend why a certified accountant is delivering. Grub Hub drivers don’t make much,” stated one follower. Angelica Ross Will Host Historic Presidential Forum On LGBTQ+ Issues Amid Black Trans Murder Crisis

According to Deadline , she will take on Joe Biden, Cory Booker, Pete Buttigieg, Julián Castro, Tulsi Gabbard, Kamala Harris, Amy Klobuchar, Joe Sestak, Elizabeth Warren and Marianne Williamson in the national 2020 Presidential Candidate Forum on LGBTQ Issues. The forum is presented by GLAAD, The Advocate, One Iowa, and The Gazette. It will be livestreamed from Coe College’s Sinclair Auditorium in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Billy Gilman , the country artist and former contestant on The Voice , will perform the National Anthem for the event. The forum marks a historic moment, considering Ross will be the first transgender woman to host a presidential forum. This will also be the first presidential forum that will exclusively focus on LGBTQ+ issues, according to NewNowNext , especially at a moment when previous presidential debates have glossed over the subject. Ross will be joined by GLAAD President and CEO Sarah Kate Ellis on the stage and they will challenge the presidential candidates on pressing LGBTQ+ issues. During the forum, each candidate will have an opportunity to discuss their plan for improving queer and trans lives across America. The fact that Ross is hosting the event holds power, considering the current crisis of Black trans women being murdered at alarming rates . Just this week, The Advocate reported Ja’leyah-Jamar as the 19th trans woman to be killed this year. Eighteen of these murders have been Black trans women. Earlier this month, Bee Love Slater was another Black trans woman murdered. Her body was found burned beyond recognition, according to The Hill . Ross has consistently spoken up about trans rights and she is the founder and CEO of TransTech Social Enterprises , a trans-centered organization that helps empower folks in poverty with technical training that creates social impact and brings economic empowerment to marginalized communities. Although Ross didn’t explicitly say she would tackle trans murders at the presidential forum, she tweeted, “ I’m so READY & excited to be hosting the #LGBTQforum on Friday with @glaad, @OneIowa, @TheAdvocateMag and @gazettedotcom to ensure that presidential candidates are talking about issues important to LGBTQ voters! Stay tuned!” She also unapologetically called out presidential candidates Bernie Sanders and Beto O’Rourke , who have yet to RSVP for the event. Although, later on she learned that Sanders had prior commitments.
