As previously reported, Bieber has the chance to avoid jail if he agrees to alcohol education classes, random drug testing and 40 hours of community service. However, insiders now tell TMZ that the singer will NOT accept the terms of this plea bargain for many reasons: He does not want probation associated with any deal because then he’d be in serious trouble if he broke the law again. He has a real problem with weed and sizzurp and will not submit to random drug testing. Attorneys for the artist believe there are big holes in the case against their client, namely that he only blew a .014 on his breathalyzer and that his in-car GPS did not record him as speeding near the time of his arrest. Bieber also thinks any kind of alcohol education will turn him into a national joke. Justin Bieber’s private plane, headed to the Super Bowl this weekend in New Jersey, was detained Friday under suspicion that it was carrying marijuana. The plane had just arrived at Teterboro Airport at 2:53 p.m. from Toronto when authorities detected what was described as “a strong odor of pot” on board. The plane, believed to be a twin-jet Raytheon Hawker 800, was ordered held for drug-sniffing dogs to check out the contents and people on board. It was not clear if the singer was aboard, though he planned to fly from his native Canada so he could take in the Super Bowl and pre-game festivities. No word on which of his douchebag friends were on the aircraft or if airport officials can find a way to just deport Justin Bieber back to Canada on the spot. Wishful thinking, we know … but it would be a popular decision, no doubt. The incident comes after Toronto authorities charged him with assault on Wednesday, and Miami police arrested him for DUI and other charges last week. When asked if a player might ever be allowed to use medical marijuana in states where it’s legal, Goodell told ESPN.com he could envision a time when players use medical marijuana in states where it’s legal. “I don’t know what’s going to develop as far as the next opportunity for medicine to evolve and to help either deal with pain or help deal with injuries, but we will continue to support the evolution of medicine,” he said. He said he could envision a time when players use medical marijuana in states where it’s legal. His remarks were the first comments in the league about marijuana since 2012, when Washington and Colorado voted to legalize pot. Goodell also addressed the Jonathan Martin bullying case, concussions in the game and whether the NFL was ready for an openly gay player. On the latter, he said: “Yes. There may be, I don’t know, but the answer to that is yes.” Last week, Goodell also said he hasn’t ruled out a Super Bowl taking place overseas. “I want to grow the game,” he told the New York Post. According to court documents obtained by Radar, the final judgement on the foreclosure of Steven and Ileana Lochte‘s Port Orange, Fla. home was handed down on Oct. 31, 2013. The Lochtes were first sued in 2012 by CitiMortgage claiming the couple took out a loan for $258,000 in 2007, requiring $1,609.58 payments per month. But the bank then claimed the Lochtes stopped making their payments in Feb. 2011 and owed more than $242,239! The Olympic swimmer’s parents were sued in Volusia County, Fla. for foreclosure over the money owed and lost last October. The judge signed a judgement in favor of the bank to the tune of $304,219.95. Although the bank hasn’t listed the house for public auction yet, it’s only a matter of time before they do as they were issued the Certificate of Title on Dec. 18, 2013. Interestingly, just before the Lochtes stopped making payments on their home Steven was arrested and charged with a DUI on April 11, 2010 blowing a .207 and .217 on the scene.
