Frank Gifford: Mourned, Remembered by Hollywood

Hollywood is in mourning. Frank Gifford died at the age of 84 Sunday, with the impact of his passing felt across both the entertainment landscape and the sports landscape. Gifford was a star quarterback many decades ago for the New York Giants before earning national acclaim as a broadcaster. He was also married to talk show host Kathie Lee Gifford. Wrote Gifford’s family in a statement confirming Frank’s death:  “We rejoice in the extraordinary life he was privileged to live, and we feel grateful and blessed to have been loved by such an amazing human being. “We ask that our privacy be respected at this difficult time and we thank you for your prayers.” Here is a look, meanwhile, at how stars around Tinsel Town are reacing to the sad news: Carson Daly : My heart breaks for my colleague and friend Kathie Lee Gifford & her family for the loss of Frank. Frank Gifford Dies; NFL Legend Was 84

Legendary New York Giants wide receiver and longtime sports journalist Frank Gifford has passed away at the age of 84. His family broke the news with a statement issued this morning: ” It is with the deepest sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved husband, father and friend, Frank Gifford. Frank died suddenly this beautiful Sunday morning of natural causes at his Connecticut home.  “We rejoice in the extraordinary life he was privileged to live, and we feel grateful and blessed to have been loved by such an amazing human being. We ask that our privacy be respected at this difficult time and we thank you for your prayers .” Gifford played for the Giants for his entire 12-year NFL career. He was selected for the Pro Bowl eight times, and was named NFL MVP in 1956. That same year, he led his team to an NFL championship. After he retired, Gifford became a respected play-by-play announcer and commentator. He served as one of the voices of Monday Night Football from 1971 to 1997. In 1986, he married beloved television personality Kathie Lee Gifford. Teen Mom 2 star Chelsea Houska has lost a lot of weight, but she denies that her hot body is due to plastic surgery or anything unnatural. The esthetician admits she was lucky she never had too much in the way of “loose skin and stretch marks” after giving birth to Aubree, now 5. “I was lucky and never had loose skin after having Aubree,” she posted on Twitter . “I DO have [stretch marks] from being pregnant.” “They are on my sides and you can’t see them in this picture.” She then denied repeated claims that she has had a tummy tuck, saying her strategy for looking this good really isn’t that special: “Workout hard and eat healthy! There’s no big secret!” Fans who watch Teen Mom 2 online or follow her on Instagram know that she works out almost as much as she worries about Adam Lind. In other words, her being rather cut is not a big shock.

Taylor Swift is an aspiring model, you know tall enough, cute enough, awkward enough, skinny enough, which is pretty fucking weird, because she’s Taylor Swift, probably one of the biggest acts in the world, so rich and famous, with this massive engaged audience, who really has no need to be an aspiring model, but I guess since she hangs out with all these models, and is semi-obsessed with modeling, while modeling is a good marketing hook for herself to continue make money, while doing what all her besties do, in what I assume is the Taylor Swift modeling agency, like she was Michael Jackson and they were little boys, designed to relive that lost childhood.. Tami Roman Miscarries Pregnancy Prayers up for Tami Roman , who has reportedly lost the baby she was expecting with boyfriend Reggie Youngblood. According to TMZ reports : “Basketball Wives” star Tami Roman and boyfriend, Reggie Youngblood, have suffered a miscarriage, the couple tells TMZ. Roman — who got her start on MTV’s “The Real World: Los Angeles” — was three months pregnant. It would have been the third child for the 45-year-old and the first for Youngblood. A rep for the couple — who appear on the show “Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars” — tells TMZ they are “mourning their loss with close friends and family. The couple requests prayers and privacy as they get through this difficult time.” Sad news. We thought it was a little unusual that she revealed her pregnancy in the first trimester (many women suffer first trimester miscarriages) but we hate to hear that it’s ended this way.

Ivana Trump Denies Rape Claims, Thinks Donald Trump Would Be "Incredible President"

Despite public opinion (and, you know, facts) being against him, Donald Trump has never backed away from his stance that most Mexican immigrants are rapists . Along sort of similar lines, however, Ivana Trump would like to make it clear that she does NOT believe her ex-husband to be a rapist. The Daily Beast came out this week with an article that excerpted parts of a 1993 book titled “Lost Tycoon: The Many Lives of Donald J. Trump.” In this biography, author Harry Hurt III writes of how Ivana told friends about an incident in which Donald, her husband from 1977 through 1992, “raped” her. According to the book, Donald Trump came home after a failed scalp procedure, angry that the doctor Ivana recommended performed in such a shoddy manner. Trump allegedly held back Ivana’s arms… pulled out “fistfuls of hair” and… then: “He jams his penis inside her for the first time in more than sixteen months. Ivana is terrified… It is a violent assault,” Hurt writes. “According to versions she repeats to some of her closest confidantes, ‘he raped me.’” With this claim having gone viral, Ivana Trump released a statement to CNN this morning that reads: I have recently read some comments attributed to me from nearly 30 years ago at a time of very high tension during my divorce from Donald. The story is totally without merit. Donald and I are the best of friends and together have raised three children that we love and are very proud of. I have nothing but fondness for Donald and wish him the best of luck on his campaign. I Incidentally, I think he would make an incredible president. She confessed to a scary sexual incident, but said back then as well that she did not want her “words to be interpreted in a literal or criminal sense.”
